Event is live from 16 Feb 2017 at 2:30 pm to 22 Feb at 6 pm.
You can use this Time Zone Converter to figure out your local time. You can enter "San Francisco" for the S8 time zone.

How to earn Leaderboard Points

• Collect from Lovebirds' Perch every 6 hrs - 40 points
• Craft items in the chocolatier - 3 points/hr
• Complete an order in the Farmers' Market - 4 points
• Complete all orders in the Farmers' Market - 30+ points
• Complete a delivery - 6 points
• Feed and collect from farm animals - 2 points/hr
• BONUS: Mine for rare points bundles - 20+ points
• BONUS: Spin to win a Mystery box - ??? points

Event Boost
Refer to Guidelines for Leaderboard Event on how event boosts work.
- 1.5x boost (7 gems)
- 2x boost (30 gems)
- Lovebirds' Perch (100 gems)

I got a pop-up of a new event this evening. Another leaderboard event for six days.

My level for completing individual milestones requires 19,000 points to get a White Lovebird (which has a pink head). First and second place for each leaderboard get a Pink Lovebird.

(I have a pic of the opening but am getting getting a message that the file type for the JPEG is wrong. No idea what's up, as I always upload the pics from my iPhone. ... Also, if anyone wants to move or merge this thread, please do so.)

I guess to be fair to S8...after two doable events...im not going to crib about the leader board event.
But honestly dosent look like i stand a chance in my group. Im at level 54...n am competing against people who have level in the 90ies. I dont have all the animals i can have at my level and dont have the time either!

This times 19k milestone in 6days, th?s is very difficult to complete, event last x 19k in 10 days but it also difficult for everyone very last mins. I don't know if i can joining this x, to much points in short days .over 3k aday to complete milestones. Way too much

I agree! To reach 19,000 points, you would have to buy a lot of boosters. I am no longer willing to "sacrifice" Gems for an event, where 90% of the participants go out empty and have no chance of winning the main prize.

I too am bowing out of this event. I was hoping for some time that the team would add birds as pets but it is a disappointment that they are part of a leaderboard event where only two players will receive the one bird. I was not able to reach 19K points on the last leaderboard event and that one gave us more time. I also will not be sacrificing gems during this event where there is no possible way to win either bird. The top five players on my team were at the 900-1000 point mark after the first five hours and the top three are nearing 2K after 12 hours. On the plus side this event will give me a break after the time I spent on the last two events. Good luck everyone.

My plan is to boost and play hard for the white bird. I'll have to reassess once I get there and decide if I have a chance. I have 20 people in my group and at least half of them are taking this seriously. I'm currently in 3rd, close to 2nd and 4th really close to me and boosting. I'm not sure if it was meant to be a 6 or 7 day event. 7 is absolutely doable and 6 maybe not. It is defiantly exciting. Good luck everyone!!

Congrats on levelling up to Mid Level category! I think you have a good chance since you need only 13,000 points. That seems more doable than mine at 19,000. I would try for the white lovebird if I were you. Boy, wish I am at mid level. Good luck to you.

Totally agree. 19k in 10 days was very tough unless one could play full time throughout 10 days. Now it seems impossible in 6 days. LB events are getting more difficult.
- The points required for milestone pet jumped from 10k points in 1st LB event to 19k points in 2nd LB event, nearly double.
- The points remained at 19k for this event but the duration has shortened.

(I'm scare to even think what the requirements for the 4th LB event are like.)
