It's not 2 gems each? (lvl 2 & 4) Like the regular ovens?

Yes, 2 gems each so 6 total but you come out with only 1 gem since the oven itself costs 5.

I'm guessing that's a bad thing, this is why I never buy gem ovens because profit is confusing is heck. Not only do I get the 5 gems back but the 6th gem is profit? Sorry I'm trying to understand.

Let's say you have only 5 gems.
You spend 5 gems to buy 1 oven, right? So -5 gems to start, so you're at 0 gems.

You master all recipes. First recipe gives you 2 gems, second recipe gives you 2 gems, third recipe gives you 2 gems. So +6 gems from mastery. Now you have 6 gems.

You started from 5, spent 5 and gained 6.
    So in total, -5 + 6 = 1 gems gained overall.

    VS.

Let's say you have only 5 gems.
For coin oven, you pay X amount of coins for 1 oven. No gems spent. Then you gain 6 gems overall from mastery.
You started from 5, didn't spend any and gained 6.
So in total 0 + 6 = 6 gems gained overall, which means you will end up with 11 gems.

I bought one oven, but since practically everything else is for gems, there is no point in getting any because a little scene would be impossible without spending a bunch of gems.

Since Storm 8 isn't conscientious about giving you the stuff when you spend money, I no longer buy gems and have to be picky about what I spend them on.

It is all REALLY cute, though. I wish I could buy it.

Now that made some sense, thanks! I won't buy it lol! I change my mind with making an exception.

I refuse to spend gems on appliances.

Disappointing updates in both RS and BS.

Did anyone else notice that the receipts have a crazy large amount of pieces? These will probable stay on your counters forever, and they don't have the highest amount of profit based on original cost, as well as profit based on piece.

Yeah I don't see how this would be beneficial to anyone.

I agree, very disappointing update but I really didn't care for anything other than sofa anyway
Which luckily was for coins ... so only buying the sofa.

I actually like it better with crazy high yield. It may take me forever to earn back the gems with the single oven i'm willing to buy since any more would lead to a loss (even if the profit will take me a while), but i think these recipes are adorable, and i'm glad they'll stay on my counters for more than an hour.

but overall, i agree with those who think this game has taken a decidedly downward turn. too many gem ovens, too many expensive decorations, too many decorations i don't like that much, too many stressful mini-goals. obviously, much of that is just in my opinion, but i personally am not tempted at all to buy gems in this game, and haven't been for quite a while.
