Chapter 1: The Baroness
Ivy: Oh Ruler.....
Ruler: Yes, Ivy?
Ivy: We have a visitor!
Lady Anya: Hello there, I am Lady Anya. I am on a journey to find a location for my wedding. I just happened upon your kingdom and I must say -- it is splendid!
Ruler: Oh, well thank you! You're more than welcome to hold your ceremony here. How can we help?
Anya: Well, the scenery in your kingdom is like no other. yet, the buildings are a little grand for my taste. Something simple, yet elegant, would be perfect.
Ivy: Oh we can decorate a cottage! Or maybe near the stables!
Anya: Well, perhaps a little less simple than that. A lady of my stature has a reputation to uphold.
Ruler: I think we can find something that suits your needs, Lady Anya. We'll build something just for the occasion!
Once you place the Wedding Hall:
Baron: Might I ask what this pile of rubble is doing there?
Ruler: Pile of rubble?! That's Lady Anya's wedding hall! No need to worry, it'll be finished in no time.
Baron: Wait -- did you say "Lady Anya"? As in THE Lady Anya?
Ruler: Yes... Why?
Baron: Oh goodness me, Lady Anya is one of the richest women in all the kingdoms. she's getting married, you say?
Ivy: Yep! Probably to the love of her life. Oh, how romantic!
Baron: I see. what a shame it would be for her to meet a more suitable husband before the wedding.
Baron: Well, I'll be off now!
Ruler: Wait! Get back here!
Ivy: You don't think he'll try and crash the wedding do you?
Ruler: Who knows with that one... Let's just keep an eye out.
Chapter 2:The Bribe To Be
Anya: The wedding hall is looking splendid already!
Ruler: Thank you, Lady Anya. How's your stay in the Kingdom been so far?
Anya: Well, I must say that you've quite the cast of characters here.
Ruler: Oh no...you met the Baron, didn't you?
Anya: Baron? Oh no, I haven't had the pleasure yet. Only a few knights who had a little too much root beer, was quite the show!
Ruler: Oh! Well, knights do love their root beer, don't they?
Baron: Lady Anya!
Ruler: Oh, boy...
Baron: Might I interrupt for a moment?
Anya: A citizen who recognizes me is worthy of my attention.
Baron: Ha! I am no mere citizen, madam. I am the Baron, which you've now had the pleasure of meeting. And I must say, meeting you is more than a pleasure of mine!
Anya: Is this the gentleman you were speaking of earlier?
Baron: ah, I see you've heard of me. Great things I'm sure. Let me show you around the Kingdom.
Ivy: Don't worry, Ruler, I'm sure she'll see through his act. In the meantime, let's keep planning for the wedding! I have a few ideas...
Chapter 3: Great Minds Think Of Gold
Ruler: So...how're things going with Lady Anya?
Baron: Oh, wonderfully!
Ruler: You know, Baron, usually when you're pursuing a woman, a gift or two goes a long way.
Baron: A gift?
Ruler: Yeah, a gift. And you know, ladies love gold...
Baron: Pfff! A woman of Lady Anya's stature has no interest in hold. She doesn't need it.
Ruler: She may not need it, but the thought could go a long way. You wouldn't want her to think you're a...
Baron: Don't you say it!
Baron: Blasted! I mustn't have my reputation tarnished. How's this -- I'll match whatever you'll give her as a wedding gift. But don't be too generous...she's a woman of means, you know!
Chapter 4: Loaning Your Love
Baron: I must ask, Lady Anya, is your heart set on this groom of yours?
Anya: What makes you ask such things, Baron?
Baron: Well, I've quite enjoyed our time together and...
Baron: Well, I fear I must be falling for your riches.
Baron: Your...rich...brown eyes? I mean I'm falling for YOU, Lady Anya!
Anya: You said RICHES!
Baron: Please, I misspoke.
Anya: Please -- leave my sight. I have a wedding to plan.
Chapter 5: The Gold That Got Away
Ruler: *sobbing* Hello? Is someone in here?
Baron: Oh, please go away! I don't need your ridicule.
Ruler: What happened? Why're you crying?
Baron: I'm not crying...a baron doesn't cry.
Ruler: What's wrong?
Baron: It's Lady Anya, she wants nothing to do with me! I let my love for gold and riches get in the way of something true and beautiful...
Ruler: True love?
Baron: I don't know! I've never felt this way before. Can you please help me?
Ruler: Wow... Is the Baron really asking me for help? You know who knows matters of the heart more than myself?
Ruler: Old Thomas! Let's stop by his house and see what he thinks!
Baron: Yes, perfect! I'll tell him of the gift I planned to give Lady Anya, too.
Chapter 6: Yuppy Love
Ivy: Hey, I heard the Baron's a mess.
Ruler: Yeah, he's not taking Lady Anya's rejection well.
Ivy: Well, if he showed a little more care towards others...
Baron: And what are you all talking about?
Ruler: Oh, Baron, hey! We were just talking about how you could win Lady Anya back, right Ivy?
Baron: Really? How?
Ivy: Well, maybe show her your sensitive side.
Baron: Any how would I do that?
Ivy: I know! Piglets! Maybe you could raise them into pigs! Caring for animals will really show your sensitive side!
Baron: Really? Alight, I'll give it a try!
Chapter 7: The Priceless Bride
Ruler: How're things going with Lady Anya?
Baron: She's yet to be impressed. Not to worry -- I have a plan to win her over and get her gold!
Baron: ... Gold...golden heart! She has a heart of gold you know. That's why I'm going to impress her with my acts of charity!
Baron: What? I'm a charitable man.
Ruler: I don't know, Baron. Maybe you should go for a different angle. What would you even give the people as an act of charity? Golden nuggets?
Baron: Oh goodness no! Gold?! You have quite the sense of humor. We're going to give the people of the Kingdom some fresh water!
Ruler: Fresh water? Wait... what do you mean "we"?
Baron: Yes, I'm going to need your help. You fetch the water. I'm going to speak with Lady Anya about all the great things I'm doing.
Ruler: Isn't that just me being charitable? Any why do the people of the kingdom want water?
Baron: I don't know, I'm sure they can do something with it. Farm, cook, anything to keep the kingdom running and taxes paid.
Chapter 8: Taxing The Heart
Baron: Lady Anya! I hope you're enjoying your stay in the Kingdom. How's your day going? Mingling with the well-quenched townsfolk?
Anya: Huh? Oh, I heard about your...donation.
Baron: Oh, it was nothing really!
Anya: I see, I didn't take you as a man of charity. Water was an interesting choice, but you must know what the people want.
Baron: Interesting? What do you usually give to your people?
Anya: Well, usually food, among other things.
Baron: Food you say? I can have food made for the people! How about a nice shuck of corn for each citizen?
Anya: Corn? Doesn't that seem a little...simple?
Baron: They're a simple people, they don't need anything fancy.
Anya: How about we serve them something we would eat ourselves?
Baron: We...we could do that I suppose. ...Just not a lot of it.
Anya: What was that?
Baron: I said, "I'm thrilled at the thought of it!" Let's get to it!
Chapter 9: A Profitable Proposal
Chapter 10: Dodging An Arrow
Ruler: I can't believe this is actually happening.
Ivy: Me either.
Old Thomas: It is time to say your vows...Baron.
Baron: Lady Anya, I have love the riches you offer my heart since the day I met you. I promise to budget my love and spend it all on...you.
Old Thomas: And now your turn, Lady Anya. Do you have any vows?
Anya: Baron, when I met you I thought you were a man of greed. Yet, you've shown me a new way of life, a charitable way of life. That is why I'm donating all of my riches to the poor. We can spend a life togeth...
Baron: You're WHAT?!
Anya: Donating all of my...
Baron: Please, say no more, Lady Anya. Don't be ridiculous! We NEED those riches.
Anya: We most certainly do not. We have each other.
Baron: I think I've made a grave mistake. Please excuse me, I think I'm going to be sick.
Ruler: Ouch, that was harsh.
Ivy: Sorry, Lady Anya.
Anya: Not to worry, I had a feeling his charity was all for show. The man I was going to marry was the same way, which is why I left him for the Baron. I think for now I'll enjoy my time alone. Until I can find someone who loves me for the riches I have inside.
Anya: Anyways, let's not let all this work go to waste! A runaway Baron is just as much reason to celebrate!
