Expansions: Currently 11x14; can I skip to 16x19?

Do expansions have to be purchased sequentially or can we skip over some?

I am currently on 11x14 and am thinking of saving my coins to buy 16x19 next. If I don't have to buy 12/13/14/15 that saves me $3,250,000!

First of all, CAN it be done. Secondly, what are the pros and cons on this (ie does the rate of profit increase with each expansion significantly?).

You can’t skip an expansion. You have to do each one.
