A few members just reported issues with their rainbow springs and I've reported it over. Drop a post in this thread if anyone is having issue.

Event is live from 13 Jan 2017 at 2:30 pm to 24 Jan 2017 6:00 pm.
You can use this Time Zone Converter to figure out your local time. You can enter "San Francisco" for the S8 time zone.

How to earn Leaderboard Points

• Collect from Rainbow Spring every 6 hrs - 40 points
• Craft items in the chocolatier - 3 points/hr
• Complete an order in the Farmers' Market - 4 points
• Complete all orders in the Farmers' Market - 30+ points
• Complete a delivery - 6 points
• Feed and collect from farm animals - 2 points/hr
• BONUS: Mine for rare points bundles - 20+ points
• BONUS: Spin to win a Mystery box - ? points

I have to be honest, I'm not planning on enjoying this event. I didn't like the previous one either...and right now I have a duck pond habitat sitting in storage that can't be used.

While I wouldn't mind winning the unicorn, I doubt I'll be able to climb into and hold onto first place over the full 11 (12?) days of the event. Given that I work, there's no way I can maintain a ranking by playing only during my off hours. I'll try my best, of course, but I'm resigned to not succeeding.

Yes, you do get the Unicorn Foal by reaching 19,000 Trophies.

Boy, they don't learn, do they? This awful event again after the fiasco of the first one? They really should have picked a different type of event, I meant the last one infuriated majority of players... At least they fixed the truffle issue. Good luck to anyone participating!

12 days to fight for top 2 spots, nope. Plus too much rainbow design for me so I'm skipping on the pet(s?) but I will gladly get coins, even consolation is not bad, 5000, if I remember well last time it was only 500?

I too am sad this is again a competitive event. All through the Arctic fox event we begged to sell extra parts to help one another because we want to be a cooperative community. Through the last leaderboard event people complained about the competitive nature of the event. But here we go again. and it seems they based the prize for level 19,000 points on that oddly designed foal that was heavily panned on the forum for its strange, gangly configuration... The one that us now in so many cellars...

I think the fact that a big event started tonight and there was not a single comment on this forum at the start, and just 5 comments hours after it began, should say something. I will not be competing in this event. I will earn whatever I earn through my happy daily farming and that will be fine.
