suddenly missing....1000 gold

I am playing this game with some diligence....and all of a sudden I have lost 1000 gold...no explanation. Can someone give me guidance here. I am pissed.

Just lost about 100 in the isles...accidentally brushing on a oversized icon that was used to speed up hatching some common dragon. I have spent more gold inadvertently than I have intentially. []

Combine that with undoable tasks...like the current tournament here and the ridiculous one going on now at castle story...and now I have very little motivation to continue playing this game! [] Frustrated, disappointed and sleepless in Seattle
