Just got pass lvl 16 PrizeFighter with my lvl 10 ForgeFather mmM. Possibly not the best choice, but I didn't have any ADIPPS or Metal. Took a whole day, so I would say it's better than the previous 2 - 3 days long on a single dragon. I believe magic works better against this guy.
No special trick, just continue use of Forgefather over and over again till it gives in. Btw, once again, it's Daenerys that's giving me a hard time. Figures b/c I'm DR0G0N.

On the first 2 pages at least 4 people won with Metal, I've seen level 10, 12, 15 and unknown

There are others that do well against the champs...I use Diamond and Infinity of course but also Pyramid, Metal, Soccer and the bomb dragons, the fruit dragons also work. If not then really most anything outside the main group of champ fighting dragons are the same..so use lower level commons and dont use high value ones you might need later since it doesnt matter.
