if you purchase gems for an event they should remove the time limit

Ok here's the dilemma were stalled out on part 8 (the prime cuts and asking for steel ****ed us )with maybe a day left and was thinking of using gems to speed things up a bit
but weve come to the conclusion that's its pointless to spend gems unless your on the very last part because you still will lose out if time runs out before you finish....

So here's my question why cant we use gems to A just buy off the time limit or B make it where if you spend a certain amount of gems it gets rid of the time limit because say if we do get to 9 or 10 its a 3 or 400 gem thing to skip collections
