I used Fire for round 1 (Magic/Dark) and got a lucky critical, but 2nd shot was Weak.

do take note round 1 is Dumbledog is (Magic/Water) so the confusion starts from here....

I experienced the same - getting a weak hit using Fire. As Fire is strong against Dark, it means that Magic must be strong against Fire to offset Fire's strength on Dark. Based on people's experience, Magic is strong against (Dark and Earth) and weak against (Nature and Water). There is no ranking against Fire.

So far I find Fire strong against Magic... I used Fire on Dumbledog and Professor Scrape, both times one hit and done. But perhaps I'm just getting lucky?

Everyone says its weak to Nature but I just took down the Unicornucopia (Earth/Nature) with Red Weasley using only Magic, again with one hit. If it is weak to nature, shouldn't it have been a neutral hit instead of critical?

it is a neutral hit .... do remember critical hit can comes from even weak attack but the theory is using stronger elements or better Rarity to proc that critical but it that works for you go ahead & keep using it as long as you win.... but the theory is magic is weak to nature & strong to earth but earth/nature the final outcome is neutral .. if that works to crit than keep using it anyway

Hello all - been awhile since I've posted. My game has trouble opening and shuts down on me regularly, so I have to delete and reinstall to get into game everytime and hope I can get done what I'd like to accomplish before the game kicks me out again But anyway, I digress.

I'm very happy that everyone (lots of newer names on the thread) has been testing new elements. I have my 'handy-dandy Chippy chart' for battles. I keep it with my ipad that I play on for quick reference. I know Chippy has not updated this in awhile. I'm also pretty sure Chippy was the only one who knew how to get into it to make updates/adjustments. (For those of you who don't know what I'm taking about you could probably search for it, but it was a lovely chart that listed the following:

Opponent's Elements - Recommended Fighter(description of specific animals to use then it listed it by elements) - Elements to Use/Avoid (this part was beautiful, had a line for USE: then pictures of each element to use to fight the Opponent, then a line for AVOID picturing the same)

1st lets just say, I really miss having that updated

2nd I was wondering with all the testing everyone is doing, someone could compile a list of all the newer elements
(starting at Rainbow, which was the 1st animal not to make the updated chart, then Zodiak, and our newer Magic element)
AND list them in a similar fashion as this chart did for ease of handwriting this info onto the chart, as I'm pretty sure no one else has been able to duplicate the original chart or its too hard/too much time to do. I know I don't have the s****set.

I see lots of testing going on and lots of different ways the info is being listed. And having used this chart for a long time, my sad little brain can only think of picking the right element when its in this format....otherwise, it takes too long and my game may just kick me out before I get to battle

So that would be:

OPPONENT'S ELEMENT - RECOMMENDED FIGHTER - ELEMENTS TO USE, ELEMENTS TO AVOID
RAINBOW - __________ - use:___________/avoid:______________
