Might be the battles that give a corrupt crytal
EDIT: Taking 1st and 6th battles as example, corrupt before means that the dragon has the same shape but its type is now "the eye". And those battles give corrupt crystal too

Not a hundred percent sure but... The first round dragon named corrupt skull is a rare new eye type. And it is not the craftable skull dragon that is typed red, blue, green.

Also the dragon tales event and tournament are connected you can get craft pieces needed for the dark one from the tales. If I read correctly you will need to win at least 36 battles of tournament to complete the tales. I wonder if making the tournament last 12 days is because you can usually get some tales wins in the arena if you wait until tourney ends but now they have made it even harder to complete.

So anyone have an inkling on what beats these new dark dragons? On round 6 I faced a level 11 dark one (kind of early dont you think?) and I was thinking Diamond, but L15 Diamond got beat.
I used Valiant on Rounds 1 & 6 but I am thinking that it will be champions that beat them.
My results are on page 2 of this thread, I will step outside of my comfort zone this tournament and am going to use various dragons and not just Valiant and Infinity which I normally do.
