Doubt: it says come back later for final rankings.. What does that mean? Can the positions change after the event is expired??

yes, the results can change after the timer expired. I've seen it multiple times, tho my position wasn't affected by it. That's why I keep a margin when going for first place.

Ended up doing a boost this morning to get Shooting Star. That gave me two new dragons and a habitat for the event. No complaints here.

Came in 3rd, and picked up Supernova so I'm happy.
The top 2 in my group were on constant boost, so sat back and easily enjoyed this one.

The winner in my group has 15k, 2nd has 14k, 3rd has 13k, and 4th only has 10k, so the difference between each one is roughly 1k for top 3, then it increased to 3k after, but from 4 down, the points are much closer with only a few hundred difference, so I guess most people below 4 were playing normally, only top 3 boosted more than others

It sucks that the leaderboard event ends at 2am my time. As expected, someone boosted at the last minute and knocked my out of second place. Ah well, I was low on food and didn't want to spend a ton of gold to secure my position anyway.

My main account won easily though, I was in the lead from the beginning due to the last step of the tales when I had to feed a ton of food to the last dragon. No one boosted, which is a change from my usual grouping.
