Just received the habitat ..... At least something useful
My group are all top level players but no one is rushing ahead so far, all just playing normally, makes a nice change .... I'm sitting 6th but just would like some milestone dragons if I can ....

Just reached the habitat! I've always wanted it so placed it immediately.
My board has been quiet this morning, I'm up to 2,863 - I'm on pace for the milestone prizes, would like to get up to 3,200 today and be tracking about a day ahead of schedule. No more boosts planned for today - holding off until my diamond hatches from the nest tomorrow for that. My arctic isles breeding has come to a halt, I kept breeding a Blizzard (wasn't trying) and don't have the coins to get the habitat. Finally saved up over 1 1/2 days and it's building now. Ten more hours and I can get that place up and working again.
No one is boosting right now, but the leaderboard just changed around so I expect #3 to boost in order to try and get back in second place - that's been the trend so far. Lots of people really bunched up. Looks like just general playing for the most part.

Good news is, I'm breeding a lot of rare dragons, with the super rare every now and then. For the most part, getting dragons I don't already have yet.
Just fed my sunset 43500 apples and received 130 points as my 1.5 boost was active.. The lunar basin also gave 30 instead of 20.. At 2410 points now.. Not so behind the schedule, thank goodness.. I nearly lost 200 points in the beginning because I fed my watcher dragon ahead of time.. Actually the task for that came after this LB started..
Point to be kept in mind: NEVER feed anybody in advance.. Especially when LB is about to start.. If boost is activated, it will give extra points for taking a dragon off the temple AND for feeding next dragon..

Right on schedule, number 3 boosted to go back to number 2. I'm working to create some distance between us, the third nest and getting arctic isles back operational helps with that. Neither of the others can get enough separation to stay in the second spot, actually 2-4 keep bouncing around and 5 is steadily climbing up.

My sons leaderboard is close, 1563 gets him 11th but only 1 and 2 are over 2,000 points (2690 and 2325). The goal is the habitat and first dragon. He should get there, I hope, fingers crossed.
i think my wheel is broken. all I get are coins, telescopes and so so many stellar steps
