Only one more day for this monster hunt. It all went by so fast. They definitely should have extended it.

I was just coming on to ask why this hunt is so short! I haven't played in a while and just found out about it yesterday, now I only have 2 days to earn gold coins? I only have 2 more so far from this event.

I also haven't received any event related drops from Lorelai's Fountain. Erg.

It is 2x2. Had a 16 hr counter in the trade wagon. I had to gem ahead. So excited to get my armored alicorn. Have fun with yours!

Skunkupines are the lowest "difficulty".

Skunkupines, 3hp, drops shields
Fangbeast, 5hp, drops shields and swords
Direboar, 8hp, drops all 3

If they all dropped the same item I'd only try to spawn skunkupines.
The closest equivalent for comparison (if all Beasts had same token loot table):
3 skunkupines -> 9hp -> 3 possible staff drops minimum
1 fangbeast -> 8hp -> 1 possible staff drop minimum

Direboars are the easiest to spawn anyways so I'm actually pretty glad.
The only time it is a little tedious is for the novice goal.

Thanks for all this info! I'll keep trying for the fangbeasts... Seems that I still get skunkupines if anything, even when I'm collecting from things that should trigger fangbeasts... Who knows ... Haha I am clicking pretty fast ( cause this always seemed to bring them before when I was in a rush) I'm probably clicking that ONE thing that brings the skunks

this does NOT feel like a monster hunt at all. i am burning through energy like a drunken dwarf through ale, and nothing. the only time i am getting monsters on my board are when i do the troll, and blue boar things, then its like 80 energy and nothing......

i am always looking forward to new quests and def the hunts, but the thrill is slowly being taken away......

i will NOT spend gems to bring a skunkpie out of hiding when NOT during monster hunts they are all over the place.

i wish more skunks would pop up, im only getting one every 50 plants i harvest grrrr

i almost have enough gold tokens for 2 of those sapphires so ya i barely have 18 gold coins. i dont like these monster hunt thingies, just a waste of time imo

I'm still waiting again today for the Daily Hunts. 3.5 hours after they're supposed to show up. What's the deal S8?
And the beasts have become few & far between when monster hunts are live. Any other time they are so rampant in my Queendom I have to park a beast so they don't overrun the place.
