Guide to Collecting Rare Items

I couldn't find a thread so putting this out there. I am hopelessly waiting for rare drops wondering if there is a better way to increase my odds. Basically, I'm looking for a thread that lists all the drops, mostly rare and the coordinating source. For instance: Mithril. Is there a place I can refer to that shows if you want to collect Mithril, this is what you need on your board. For this particular item I know that I can expect rare drops from the Mine or I can purchase a Mithril Dragon. Also, Gold Nuggets. Besides the Mine, where else do they drop from?

Again just a thought or someone can give me some guidance if such a list exists!
