The Jousting Arena Renovations (levels 4 & 5) - Goals
    Goal Pre-requisites & Notes:
    * Must be Level 25 and have completed Champion Thurston from The Jousting Arena.
    * Needs More Sparkle - this goal requires the items to be crafted and so if gems are exchanged to attain the items, it does not complete the requirements. The goal stays in your book if you use gems. You need to send me a PM so I can escalate this issue to S8 if you upgrade the Arena to Level 5 and this goal is still in your goal book.

    Jousting Arena Renovations

    Journey forth, brave warriors!
Only the finest knights can compete!
    Until the renovations are complete,
    prepare for the fight ahead!
    Steeds at the ready!
    To the arena!!!

Thurston: My Liege! I would speak with you about the Jousting Arena, if I may?
Ruler: Of course! Is there something wrong with it?
Thurston: Nay, My Liege. 'Tis rather... inactive, though. I fear the people dislike it.
Therefore, I would like to propose renovations to the Jousting Arena!
Ruler: Sure, that?s a great idea! Did you have anything specific in mind?
Thurston: I think it best if we consult the people, My Liege, to see what they want.
Ruler: Good thinking. In the meantime, we should relocate the arena's horses.
They'll need a temporary home until the renovations are complete!
Thurston: Very good, My Liege! I shall see to it at once!

Thurston>The Stables will serve this purpose well, I think!
We should make sure there is enough room first, and once
the horses are moved over give them a special treat for their cooperation!
    1. Joust Intentions - tap on the stables to upgrade to lv.5;
    help 4 horses settle in to their new home;
feed 40 sugar cane to horses, as a special treat, in thanks!
    Thurston>The horses have been relocated,
and are happily settles in to their new homes!

Old Thomas: I heard our Young Ruler is in need of a light brainstorm session?
IVY: How can we be of service?
Ruler: Sir Thurston suggested we renovate the Jousting Arena.
Do you guys have any thoughts on what we can do to improve it?
    IVY: Oh, lots!
Ruler: ...That don't include Rat Tails or Skunku-pies?
    IVY: ...
Old Thomas: I have heard the people say the Jousting Arena does not look too appealing.
I would suggest we do something to spruce it up!
IVY: Ooo! How about we add something to make it shine?
Something that will catch the light and make it gleam all across the land!
Ruler: Great! That sounds like just the thing!
Let's decorate the place with some gold trim.
    Nothing shines better than gold!
Old Thomas: Splendid thinking, everyone! I shall inform the craftsmen right away!

Old Thomas>Let us expand the jousting Arena's seating capacity and decorate
everything with gold accents. We should begin by acquiring the necessary materials!
    2. Needs More Sparkle- craft 5 gold piping(We're going to need a lot!)
Old Thomas>We have the materials we need! Let the renovations begin!

Old Thomas: The craftsmen are ready to begin construction
    on the Jousting Arena!
IVY: Hooray! I can't wait to see it when it's done!
Thurston: If I may say, the Jousting Arena will look quite grand once we are done.
Rule 314 of the Knight's Code is quite clearabout how we should best celebrate!
Ruler: Oh yeah? What's it say, Sir Thurston?
Thurston: Any and all constructions of note art best regaled with Knightly sport--
    --a tournament!!!
IVY: Are you sure? You were pretty nervous the *last* time we held a tournament!
Thurston: Fear not, Miss Ivy, for mine confidence has been quite bolstered since then.
What is more, I know mine opponent, and know they shalt not skewer me!
IVY: You do? But, we haven't organized the tournament yet!
Thurston: Do we not all know who would be best suited as the star of the event?
Ruler: Wait, Sir Thurston, you don't mean--
Thurston: My Liege, 'tis thine duty as ruler to open the new Jousting Arena!
Ruler: Well, I suppose you're right, but do I really need to fight you?
Thurston: Do not worry, My Liege! 'Tis not but friendly sport!
Old Thomas: Sir Thurston is correct that it would look good if you led the event...
The people would be inspired to see their ruler leading the charge!
Ruler: Alright, if you guys say so! Let's start spreading the word.

Thurston>I shall take care of making the arrangements for the tournament,
My Liege! You, Old Thomas, and Miss Ivy can focus on the renovations.
    3. Bring Out That Shine! - more seats, that shine in the sunlight
-upgrade the jousting arena to lv.4; spread fliers in the market place
(come see the ruler fight Sir Thurston!); tap your neighbors buildings to spread the word.
Thurston>The word has been spread, and the seating expanded!
We are well on our way towards a magnificent event!

    Thurston: Hmm...
Ruler: What's on our mind, Sir Thurston?
Thurston: My Liege, I wonder how deep our problems publicizing the Jousting Arena stem.
Ruler: What do you mean? You think the gold accents won't be enough?
Thurston: I fear the people do not understand the majesty of the joust!
Perhaps the significance of this great sport is lost on them?
Ruler: I see. Well maybe the renovations can help somehow?
Like if we can add something to help visually express how great jousting is!
Thurston: Ah, I have it, My Liege! Let us erect a pair of statues flanking the arena.
If we showcase the majesty of mighty steeds, perhaps they will be more excited!
Ruler: It's worth a try! Take some horses to the artisans and see what they can do.
    Thurston: Right away, My Liege!

Thurston>I shall select our most noble of steeds to serve as our artisans' reference!
The statues shall be a most magnificent addition to the Jousting Arena!
4.Two Noble Steeds - craft 2 horse statues
(Make sure to capture the exquisite musculature!)
Thurston>The statues art perfect! The horses served as excellent models!

IVY: Wow! These horse statues came out really great, Sir Thurston!
Thurston: Yes, My Liege has very talented artisans indeed!
Ruler: I hope they enjoy seeing their fine work when everything's complete!
Speaking of which, how are the plans for the tournament coming along?
Thurston: Things progress smoothly, My Liege.
All that remains are the matters of new equipment and good food!
Ruler: Well, the blacksmiths should have no problem with the equipment.
IVY: And I'll take care of the food!
Ruler: You wouldn't mind sharing the menu before you get started, would you?
    IVY: Don't worry, I know the routine--no skunku-pies!
But I'm definitely including a lot of spice to get your adrenaline flowing!
Ruler: Alright, I suppose that's a fair compromise.

Ivy>I can't help it if you guys don't enjoy my specialties.
That doesn't mean I won't do my best to provide everyone with excellent food!
    5. Jousting Time- upgrade jousting arena; equip 2 light armor
    (One for you, and one for Sir Thurston!);
serve 3 spicy feasts(Feed everyone spice to get them excited!)
Ivy>Everything's ready! Time for the grand reveal!

Old Thomas: Ah! I see the renovations on the Jousting Arena are at last complete!
Ruler: They sure are! Everyone did a great job coming together on this one!
IVY: There's only one thing left to do...
Thurston: My Liege, art thou prepared for our duel?
Ruler: As ready as I'll ever be!
And don't go easy on me just because I'm "your Liege"!
Thurston: Of... O-Of course not, My Liege! I would never...
Ruler: Uh-huh. In any case... Ivy? Care to do the honors?
    IVY: I'd be honoured!
Ruler? Sir Thurston? Are you both ready?
    Thurston: I am!
    Ruler: You bet!
    IVY: Good! In that case...
    Round 1! FIGHT!!!

Thurston>En garde, My Liege! I shall not be so easy an opponent to fell
    as thine past, beastly opponents!
    6. Get Ready To Duel!-pay entry fee 400,000coins;
    inspect 4 horses - pick one and saddle up;
    joust-En garde, Sir Thurston!
Thurston> Hark, My Liege emerges victorious!
A battle well fought, My Liege!

    Blythewood Faeries Part 1

'Been waiting forever for ya! Listen, not all Faeries are the same! You didn't think we were, didja?
Trust me when I tell ya we're just as varied as you humans! Help me free sis, you'll start to see that for yourself!
Even now already, I think you're startin' to get the idea!' Blythewood Faerie Preedle

Goals for The Tabernum Connection (Part A)

Male Faerie: Well *that* took long enough!
Ruler: Whoa! What? Who are you?
Male Faerie: The name's Preedle. You're the big cheese around here, huh?
Ruler: Sure, you could say that. I haven't seen you around before...
Preedle: Maybe not, but I've been here! I'm just good at hidin' and you lot are *awful* at lookin?!
Ruler: Huh? What do you mean?
Preedle: You lot keep fumbling? around with flowers all day! You didn't *really* think you could lure a Blythe same as a Glimmer, did you?
    Ruler: Er...
Preedle: Sheesh! It's no wonder you humans keep trampling over the rest of us!
Ruler: Hey, we're trying our best! We don't exactly have much information to work with.
Preedle: ...Fair. Alright, I'll tell ya what. I like what I've seen of you lot so far. BUT... before I trust you with my sister, show me you can handle it.
Ruler: That sounds fair enough. What would you like us to do?
Preedle: See, unlike those Glimmer twits, we Blythes are all about animals.
Show me you know how to take good care of animals, *then* we'll talk about sis!
Ruler: I've got just the person for the job!

Ivy>The Blythe Faeries have been here the whole time? I wish they woulda spoken up sooner!
Oh well. Proving our trustworthiness will be easy as Skunku-pie!
    A1. It's About Time - level 5 Farmhouses are spacious, and well-equipped!
We're very attentive of *all* our citizens!
    Ivy>All done! How'd we do?

Preedle: Well, I'll say this--you lot certainly know your stuff!
Ruler: We have Ivy to thank for that. She's an expert in animal care!
IVY: Aw, shucks! I'm just happy to help out!
Preedle: Ivy, huh? Nice to meet ya!
Ruler: So, Preedle. How can we help?
Our top priority right now is getting your sister out of that tree!
Preedle: Right! Let's start with showing me what you all have so far. We've been looking for Fwipple for *months*! How'd you know she was in that tree?
IVY: Lady Greselda and I ran some tests on dust we found from the Goddess Tree. The results of the tests were this--a Blythe Gem!
Preedle: A what? Let me see it, let me se it!!!

Preedle>Wow! It's been a long time since I last saw a Blythe Gem!
Quick, take me to the Goddess Tree! I have to see this for my own eyes!
A2. Preedle of Blythewood - give Preedle the Blythe Gem ('I need to... ah... test it, too..'?)
Examine the Goddess Tree ('My flutter, it's really here!')
Preedle>I don't know how you all managed it, but it really is the Goddess Tree!
Hang on, Fwipple, we're coming for ya! (collect the Faerie Bulb)

Lady G: You must be the little pixie who's been snooping about the kingdom?
Preedle: And I'm guessing you're the with who made the Blythe Gem?
Lady G: Indeed. I do not suppose you have any theories on how to release your sister?
Preedle: Maybe. This situation's tough... Those Glimmers sure are crafty!
The thing is, we gotta be careful not to hurt the Goddess Tree in the process.
Lady G: Hmm, I see... Yes, that is quite the difficult conundrum.
IVY: I might know something we can try! Belladonna does it to extract Life Essence.
Preedle: Of course! Yeah! Extract Charms!
Lady G: We could try that, but a faerie is a very different thing from a Life Essence.
Preedle: You're right. It'll leave Fwipple really tired once we get here out...
IVY: Well *that's* easy enough to fix! We'll prepare a place for her to recuperate!
It'll take a long time to find the right components anyway.
Lady G: It is your decision to make, Young Ruler. Does all of this sound reasonable?
Ruler: It's as good a place to start as any.
Sabina and I will prepare something while you all hunt down the components.

    Sabina>Ohh, this sound like fun!
My stories describe faerie homes all the time. I cannot wait to build one of our own!
A3. Magic Collaboration! There's a Faerie Bulb in you inventory! Place it in your kingdom.
Sabina>This shape will aid in protecting our faerie friend from further harm.
    Now, to adequately furnish it...

Queen Ivinea: Well, well. It seems I was right to heed my maids' warnings...
Ruler: Queen Ivinea? Isn't this a surprise. To what do we owe the pleasure?
Queen Ivinea: You dare feign ignorance? I know you have been tampering with the Goddess Tree.
Ruler: That's right! We know there's a Blythe Faerie trapped in that tree.
Queen Ivinea: ...Pardon? Just how, exactly, would a faerie get trapped in a tree?
And why is a Blythe Faerie in Glimmerwood, to begin with?
Ruler: I wasn't going to ask. Our first priority here is to free that faerie.
Queen Ivinea: You would do well to stay out of Faerie affairs, Young Ruler.
We have been at this for many ages. It would be unwise to involve you and yours.
Ruler: That may be, but the people of this land stand up for each other, no matter what!
Queen Ivinea: If that is the path you wish to walk, I cannot stop you. But, be advised:
There are some things best left alone, and some bridges which cannot be rebuilt.
We shall see how this course of action fares, Young Ruler.

    *Queen Ivinea departs*
Sabina: Queen Ivinea looked quite displeased with us...
IVY: I'll say. What do you think she meant with that stuff about bridges?
Lady G: Is it not obvious? We are being threatened.
Ruler: Maybe, maybe not. She could be talking about any number of alliances.
Sabina: Is it really so bad to want to help everyone?
Faeries are supposed to be kind...
Lady G: This is not one of your storybooks, child. Queen Ivinea is correct.
We know not the strings we are pulling with our meddling.
Thurston: That does not mean we should sit idly by whilst another suffers!
Ruler: Well put, Sir Thurston. We won't be bullied out of doing the right thing!
IVY: Yeah, that's right! We're friends to everyone around here!
    Thurston: ...even *trolls*!
Lady G: Very well, but let us not go forth blindly. We should all prepare for the worst.
Faeries can be a dangerous enemy...

Thurston>Worse than trolls? I doubt that!
How can something so small be worse than something so brutish as a troll?
Should so "fierce some" an enemy come your way, My Liege, you have my sword on your side!
A4. Faerie Discontent - upgrade Faerie Bulb to Lv.2(How do we furnish it for a Faerie's tastes?)
"Accompany me to the Tavern, My Liege!" (De-stress over some Rooty Beers)
Thurston>Take it from a knight--there is nothing like a few Rooty Beers to calm the nerves, My Liege!

Preedle: Hey. Uhh... I just wanted to say thanks.
Y'know, for stickin' up for me and Fwipple like that.
Ruler: Of course! It's just like I said--we help *everyone* around here.
Preedle: So, yah. Um. About that?
Ruler: Queen Ivinea and the Glimmer Faeries may be... difficult, at times...
But that doesn't mean we shouldn't help them if we can.
Preedle: I know you mean well, but those glimmers just *can't* be trusted!
We Blythes have tried, over and over. It's only ever landed us in trouble!
Ruler: I'm not saying we should aid them blindly...
...but, at the very least, we need to try to stay on good terms with them.
Preedle: You humans are *way* too trusting. It'll land you in trouble, y'know!
Ruler: Let's just focus on freeing your sister. We can worry about politics later.

    Preedle>I really appreciate your help.
I just don't think you should be giving those Glimmers a single hoot!
    Ah well, it's *your* kingdom...
A5 For Glimmer Or Blythe? upgrade the Faerie Bulb to Lv.3
(Let's grow plenty of plants to burrow in!?
Preedle>Just cuz we prefer animals doesn't mean we don't like blossoms, y'know!
We're just not obsessed, like the Glimmers.

    Sabina: ...
    Preedle: ...Whatcha lookin' at, lady?
Sabina: Ah! Sorry, I just... You look very different from the Glimmer Faeries!
Preedle: Of course I do! I'm a Blythe Faerie!
Sabina: My apologies, I did not mean to offend! I am just curious, is all.
Preedle: It's alright. We Blythes aren't as showy as the Glimmers.
Sabina: You all truly are quite different! More so than my tales led me to believe.
Preedle: Stories are just stories, lady. The real thing is always more complicated!
Take you, for example. You got a name?
Sabina: I am Princess Sabina! 'Tis a pleasure to meet you!
Preedle: So, Sabina, Ivy, Thurston... There's all kinds of humans!
Well, us faeries are just the same. Er, different.
    You know what I mean.
Sabina: Yes, I do. I had not thought of it that way.
I suppose, just as with humans, faeries have their own conflicts of interest...
Preedle: Oh, do we! A feud between faerie clans can go on for decades!
Sabina: Is it truly so difficult for people to just be at peace with one another?
Preedle: Meh. Everyone has their own goals and aspirations.
A kerfuffle here-and-there is to be expected!
Sabina: But things would be so much nicer if we got along with each other!
If we help each other reach our goals, everyone can live happily ever after!
Preedle: I admit, it *would* be pretty nice if things ever came to be that way.
I wouldn't hold my breath, though.

Sabina>Our Young Ruler works hard every day to foster the kind of world I dream of!
I am confident we will get there, one day. It may just take a while...
A6. Of Faeries And Humans - upgrade the Faerie Bulb to Lv.4(The plants are almost done!)
Sabina>I am so excited! I hope Fwipple enjoys the home we built for her!

    IVY: Good news, everyone!
    Ruler: What's up, Ivy?
IVY: I heard back from Belladonna about the components for the Extract Charm!
We only need a few things, but they're pretty hard to find.
Ruler: I guess we better get started, then. Where are we headed?
IVY: There's a few different places, but they're all pretty far away.
OT: It sounds like we will be needing the assistance of our trusty knights!
Thurston: Our swords are ready, My Liege!
Ruler: It's not your swords I'm worried about. It's your bellies!
Thurston: ...Ah, yes. We will need adequate provisions if we are to travel!
IVY: Just leave it to me! I'll have everything cooked and ready in no time!

Ivy>We're going to need a lot of food to keep the knights going!
    A7. Pre-emptive Provisions - prepare Feasts(Any Feast will do!)
    - upgrade the Faerie Bulb to Lv.5(Time for the final touch--a bit of magic!)

Ivy>Whew, that was a lot of cooking!

    Goals for The Tabernum Connection

    OT: Fascinating... truly fascinating!
Ruler: You're making progress on the Goddess Tree, I take it?
OT: The mind works in wonderfully mysterious ways, Young Ruler!
The clues have been here all along, but they are faint and subtle.
They are the kind of hints that appear to be nothing to the unsuspecting reader...
...but clear as day to one like you or I, who know there is something to be found!
Ruler: So, you're sure, then? The Goddess Tree and the Tabernum are connected?
OT: Most assuredly so! Though, I admit I am still uncertain as to how.
I am afraid I am nearing the end of what I can conclude from all these notes.
Ruler: Don't give up, Old Thomas! I know you'll find something!
What about Agnes' notes? Were they any help?
OT: They confirmed my suspicions, but we could extrapolate little else.
Ruler: Hmm... Is there anyone else who might know more about the Goddess Tree?
OT: Oh, that is it! You are keen as ever, Young Ruler!
    Ruler: You're ... welcome... ?

OT>Lady Greselda was instrumental in our revival of the Goddess Tree.
Perhaps collaborating with her can reveal more hidden wisdom?
B1. A Closer Look - meet with Lady Greselda in her castle
OT>Lady Greselda? Are you home... ?

Lady G: Old Thomas? To what do I owe the "pleasure" ?
OT: Good day, Lady Greselda! I was hoping you could lend a hand with something...
Lady G: Could? Almost certainly. Would? That depends.
Has it anything to do with "taming" my plants?
OT: No, no! I, ah... I would not dream of it!
Rather, it concerns our Goddess Tree.
Lady G: I see. Something to do with the faeries, then?
OT: Perhaps, perhaps not. You see...
I have been researching a connection between the Goddess Tree and the Tabernum.
Lady G: The two are related? In what way?
OT: That is the question I was hoping you might aid me in answering.
Lady G: Hmm. I admit, I do not know much about the Tabernum...
...however, magical plants are something of a specialty.
OT: You displayed tremendous knowledge in past dealings with the Goddess Tree!
If we combine our research, we just might be able to solve this riddle, I think!
Lady G: I suppose I do not have much else better to do...
Fine, then. Come in and show me what you have thus far.

Lady G>I admit, it is nice having something to work on that is not related to those pesky faeries.
Not directly, at least. Let us begin by reviewing what we have...
B2. Better Consult An Expert! - What do you make of this, Lady Greselda?
(give Lady G the Tabernum Notes) Collect more Blythedust from the Goddess Tree &
Study the Tablet of Tabernum(Perhaps we missed something)
Lady G> This is... I hesitate to purse this any further. Let me think on it for a while.

OT: How astounding! Our Young Ruler will be quite intrigued by this, I think!
Lady G: Yes... *If* it is true, and *if* we break the news...
OT: Why would we not? What troubles you, Lady Greselda?
Lady G: Do you not see it for yourself? If what we suspect is true...
The Baron tried to have the Goddess Tree destroyed. What if this is why?
OT: Ah... Hmm. I had not considered that, I must admit...
Lady G: We could face accusations of treason with this.
At the very least, we should be sure of ourselves before we say anything.

OT>Yes, you are correct. It would be best to keep the Young Ruler ignorant for now.
We shall continue in secret until we are sure of ourselves!
B3. Regal Ramifications - Swear to a Pact of Secrecy
(Not a peep until we are done!) Shh
OT> Now, then. How do we go about confirming our theory... ?

Lady G: Excuse me. Preedle, was it?
    Preedle: That's right. Waddya want?
Lady G: I apologise for my... abrupt introduction. I would like to try anew.
Preedle: Well go ahead, then! You got a name, lady?
Lady G: I--...Yes, dear. I am called Lady Greselda.
Preedle: Yeah? I think I'll call ya Grizzy.
Lady G: I beg your pardon?! "Grizzy"?
Preedle: That's right! For short. Anyway, you look like you want something', Grizzy.
    Lady G: Insolent little--
    Preedle: Hmmmm?
Lady G: ...As you may have noticed, I am quite fond of magical plants.
Preedle: Oh, I saw your creepshow garden, alright. You got some strange hobbies, lady!
Lady G: ...ANYWAY. I was hoping you might be willing to contribute?
Preedle: Huh? Did you miss the orientation or something'?
How many times do I gotta say it? We Blythes aren't that big on plants!
Lady G: I understand. However, the Glimmer Faeries lack the plant I seek.
Preedle: Some plant I've got, that the Glimmers haven't?
    Now this I *gotta* hear!
What plant are you lookin' for?
Lady G: I was hoping you could provide me with a Blythewood Tree.
Preedle: That sounds... rather bland... You sure it'll survive in that garden of yours?
Lady G: ...I am confident it will do just fine.
Preedle: If you say so. Alright, Grizzy--here's a seed. Let me know how it goes, huh?
I wanna stay up-to-date with how "well" you do with it!

Lady G>That little brat! I cannot believe I put up with such insolence! Old Thomas had better be grateful for this!!!
B4. Let's Try That Again - Place & Grow the Blythewood Tree
Lady G> There, a full-grown Blythewood Tree. Now where *is that bumbling old man?

Lady G: Ah, there you are. Are you prepared to continue our research, Old Thomas?
OT: Yes, yes indeed! How shall we proceed, Lady Greselda?
Lady G: Do you see this Blythewood Tree I have planted?
OT: I was it as I approached your castle. It is quite lovely! I was wondering--
    Lady G: Chop it down.
OT: W-What? You want to... But, why? It is such a quaint and lovely tree!
Lady G: We must compare the Goddess Tree to a normal Blythewood Tree.
This will reveal to us everything which makes the Goddess Tree special.
OT: By which... you mean... ?
    Lady G: ... *Everything.*
OT: Ah. Yes. I see. Very well... I suppose we do not have much choice in the matter.

Lady G>Trust me, this is the surest--and quickest--way for us to gather more information about the Goddess Tree.
If we can capture what is different between the two trees...
B5. Necessary Measures - Chop down the Blythewood Tree
(Collect its pieces for further study!)
Lady G> Excellent work. Now, then, let us study the samples we were able to gather!

Lady G: My, this is... this is quite interesting?
OT: What is it, Lady Greselda? What have you found?
Lady G: Look between these two Blythedust samples.
    Do you see the difference?
OT: Ah, how peculiar! This sample is far more vibrant than the other.
Lady G: My observation as well. That sample is from the Goddess Tree.
OT: I see. The other is from the Blythewood Tree, then?
What do you postulate is the cause of this difference?
Lady G: I expected *some* disparity, given the Blythewood Tree imprisons no faerie.
However, to *this* degree? It is far too much to be attributed to a single life.
OT: Are you certain? Could not our Blythe Faerie friend simply be just that magical?
Lady G: It is possible, I suppose, but highly unlikely.
OT: We must be absolutely *certain* before endangering the Young Ruler!
Lady G: You are right. I suggest we consult my pupil, Ivy.
She is quite talented with plant life herself!
...Do not tell her I said that.
OT: Your secret is safe with me, Lady Greselda.
    Shall I fetch Miss Ivy?
Lady G: No, that may be too suspicious. I shall summon her.
In the meantime, let us gather more Blythedust from the Goddess Tree.

Lady G>She still has quite a lot to learn, but Ivy has a natural talent for this sort of thing.
We will benefit greatly from her aid in this matter.
B6. More Than Meets The Eye - process Blythedust (Collect more from the Goddess Tree!)
    Visit Ivy's Hut(Time to continue Ivy's lessons!)
Lady G> Ivy will be able to keep our secret...
    I hope...

IVY: Hiya, Lady Greselda! Is it time for another lesson?
Lady G: ...Yes, something like that. Ivy, come here and take a look at these samples.
    IVY: More Blythedust?
Lady G: I am working on something. But first, I want your unbiased observation.
IVY: Alright. Let's see here... Hmmm...
Well, there's definitely something different between the two samples.
This one has a *lot* more magic in it than the other one!
Lady G: Very good. What do you hypothesize as to the cause?
IVY: Huh? Well... I'd guess you extracted the magic out of the other sample.
But, if that's not the case... then... um...
Lady G: Do what you need with the dust. Pick it up and feel it, if it helps.
    IVY: Thanks! Hmm...
Wow! The magic in this sample... it feels really, really old! Like, *ancient*!
This is from the Goddess Tree, right? Just how old *is* that tree?
Lady G: The tree itself is fairly new, remember? We planted it here not long ago.
IVY: Oh, right! Well, that's weird. This magic feels maybe a century old, at least!
Lady G: I see... Thank you for your honest assessment, Ivy.
IVY: What's going on? Why are you studying Blythedust again?
Lady G: Before I tell you, you must promise to keep this a secret.
Our Young Ruler could get in a lot of trouble with the Baron if he finds out.
IVY: Oh?. Okay, I promise! I won't tell anyone, not even the chickens!
Lady G: ...Right. Anyway, Old Thomas and I are researching the Goddess Tree.
Specifically, we are investigating its connection to the Tabernum.
IVY: Huh? But what does a tree have to do with a bunch of old advisors?
Lady G: You made a theory just now with the Blythedust, did you not?
    IVY: The Blythedust... ?
...Wait, you mean... You think there's a spirit living in the Goddess Tree?
Lady G: It is a surprising and daunting discovery, but yes, that is our theory.
Furthermore, we believe that spirit was... *is*? one of the Tabernum!
IVY: Whaaaaat? Wait, but that means--
Lady G: It means the Baron tried to silence a voice of the Tabernum!
Please, Ivy. It is *extremely* important that this matter stay between us!
I will reconvene with Old Thomas. For now, just... do not speak of it.

Ivy>Wow, I can't believe this? My head is spinning! The Baron's a jerk alright, but to *This*? It's too much! What's going on?
B7. A Second Opinion - Contemplate the Tabernum
(What is the Baron so concerned about?)
Ivy>Gosh, this is going to be hard! I made a promise, though... !

    The Blythewood Faeries, Part 2

Reach far and wide across the lands! I know everything we need is out there, somewhere.
Valiant knights, ready thy swords! Anything which impedes our way must be stopped!
Let no cave, no desert, no jungle stop us from saving our friend!

Ruler: Alright, Ivy! All the food is prepared for our knights. Where are they headed?
IVY: According to Belladonna, the Extract Charm is comprised of three pieces:
First, a Life Crystal, to protect the essence we're extracting.
Second, a Glass Chamber, to catch the essence as it's being extracted.
Third, a Vine Braid, to ring the Extract Charm and contain the essence.
    Ruler: Sounds straightforward enough!
Preedle: It had better be! This is my sister we're talkin' about, not some silly essence!
Ruler: Don't worry, Preedle, we'll take extra care!
    Fwipple is in good hands.
Lady G: Let's not get too ahead of ourselves. We still need to find the components.
*Then* we can worry about crafting the pieces-- and the charm--properly!
Thurston: Just leave the finding to us, your loyal knights, My Liege!
IVY: We have a lot of searching to do! The components are in really tough places.
OT: Describe the places to me, Miss Ivy. I shall map them out for our noble knights!

Ivy>Alright, listen up! We need an Unrefined Life Crystal from the Dark Caves,
White Sand from the Desert Sands, and Wild Vines from the Feral Lands.
#1 Charm Checklist-Find Unrefined Life Crystal, White Sand, Wild Vines

    Thurston: Ah, My Liege!
Ruler: What's up, Sir Thurston? Did you find something?
Thurston: The Dark Caves' dank caverns were treacherous,
    but we have emerged triumphant!
    Behold, an Unrefined Life Crystal!
Preedle: Ooo! Yes, that's perfect! So pure, so vibrant!
Ruler: Great! Let's take it over to the Magic Forge right away!

Preedle>BE careful with that Life Crystal!
We need it to make sure Fwipple makes it through unharmed!
1a. A Jewel of Life - to the Magic Forge! (Make the Life Crystal)

Preedle>The Life Crystal is ready to go!

Thurston: I have returned, My Liege!
Ruler: Great! How did it go?
Thurston: The Desert Sands' scorching dunes proved difficult to cross, but lo!
I present you with this White Sand!
Lady G: Hmm... The grain of this sand is fine, and quite delicate. This should suffice.
Ruler: Good work, Sir Thurston! The Potion Shop can take it from here!

Lady G>It may not seem like much, but the Glass Chamber is a vital element of the Extract Charm.
Where else would we catch... whatever her name is?
1b. A Barrier of Glass - make a Glass Chamber (The Potion Shop can make this for us!)
Lady G>There. A perfect Glass Chamber.

Thurston: I am back to report, My Liege!
Ruler: I'm all ears! Any luck?
Thurston: We were nearly lost in winding forest of the Feral Lands, but here we stand!
    Please accept these Wild Vines.
IVY: Ah, they're nice and lush, with a healthy skin!
Ruler: The knights have done excellently! We'll take these right to the Workshop!

Ivy>A good plant goes a long way towards ensuring magic charms do their work successfully!
...Not that I doubt the Extract Charm will work!
1c. A Cord of Vines - To the Workshop! (craft a vine braid)

Ivy>All done with the Vine Braid! Isn't it pretty?

Ivy>That's all the components! Now to craft the pieces of the Extract Charm!

IVY: All the pieces are here! Now, there's only one thing left to do...
Preedle: Yeah! Let's get to work on that Extract Charm!
Lady G: A task of such importance should be handled by an expert. Allow me.
Preedle: Huh? Hey, it's *my* sister! C'mon, Grizzy! Let me help!
IVY: I'd like to help too, if I can... !
Lady G: Tch... Fine. But *be careful*!
One mistake could have vital consequences for...
Preedle: Fwipple. All the more reason for me to keep an eye on things!
IVY: I'll take care of the pieces until you're ready for them, Lady Greselda.
Lady G: Alright, I think this will work. Shall we begin?

Lady G>Everyone did a fine job creating our three pieces,
but now it is time for the tricky part!
It will take a lot of care and expertise to bind these three pieces together
    to form the Extract Charm!
    2. A Faerie's Charm (Complete the Extract Charm in the Faerie Workshop!)

Lady G>Our job is done! The Extract Charm is complete!

Preedle: Well? Is it done? Is it ready yet?
Lady G: Impatient little thing, are you not?
Preedle: Can a blame me? Fwipple's stills tuck in that tree!
Lady G: Fwipple will be just fine. The Extract Charm is complete.
IVY: Hooray! It came out great, Lady Greselda!
Ruler: Good work! Are we ready to try it out on the Goddess Tree?
Lady G: Indeed. Thought I would prefer to do so myself...
...I think it would be best if we allowed Preedle this task.
Preedle: Huh? You're not gonna make me fight for it?
Lady G: Believe it or not, I take no pleasure in aggravating others.
I merely strive for utmost quality in all things, and... well...
Preedle: Alright, alright already! Don't spoil a good thing!
Let's just take the Extract Charm over to the Goddess Tree and free Fwipple!

Preedle>Hang in there, Fwipple! We're comin' for ya!!!
    3. Freedom For Fwipple -give Preedle the Extract Charm
(We'll let Preedle take it from here!)
Use the Extract Charm on the Goddess Tree
(Visit the tree until Fwipple emerges!)

    Preedle>It worked! Fwipple!!!

Preedle: Fwipple! Fwipple, can you hear me? Are you alright?
Fwipple: Ugh... Preedle? Is... Is that you? What happened... ?
Preedle: Those Glimmer brutes trapped you in the Goddess Tree!
It's alright, though. We're among friends! These people helped free ya!
    Fwipple: Friends... ? Wha... ?
Ruler: She looks really exhausted, Preedle. Let's let her rest a bit.
We can introduce her to everyone after she's spent some time in the Faerie Bulb!
Preedle: Yeh, good thinkin'. C'mon, Fwipple, let's get you to --

Queen Ivinea: You have made a grave mistake, Young Ruler.
    Ruler: Queen Ivinea!
Queen Ivinea: It seems you did not heed my warnings. We will not take this insult lightly!
Preedle: Aw, shove off it, ya old grump!
Queen Ivinea: I... I beg your pardon?! How dare you!
Preedle: I ain't scared of you, Ivinea! These people were just tryina help Fwipple!
Queen Ivinea: In doing so, they have trampled upon our alliance!
Any who associate themselves with Blythewood shall not do so with Glimmerwood!
Preedle: Who would wanna associate with such meanies anyway?
Do what ya like with your Glimmers, but these folks have Blythewood behind 'em!
Queen Ivinea: Is that supposed to be a threat? The Blythewood Faeries are a clan in shambles.
Meanwhile, the Glimmerwood clan thrives, finding new, powerful allies by the day.
In any case, my quarrel here is not with you--it is with the child.
    Ruler: "Child," huh?
Queen Ivinea: You are no ruler of mine.
Luckily for you, however, I have decided to free you of your dire boar plight.
    Ruler: Really? Wow, uh... Thanks?
Queen Ivinea: Do not thank me. This is done not for your benefit,
    but for Blythewood's detriment.
Ruler: Look, I'm sure we can find some way to resolve this.
    If we just work together--
Queen Ivinea: The harm has already been done!
I bid you refrain from doing any more, lest you make matters worse.
    Ruler: Harm? I don't understand! We didn't--
Queen Ivinea: Good bye, child of Glimmerwood.

Preedle>Who does that dustbag think she is, sayin' you all "harmed" someone?
It just don't make any sense! I think I'd like to know more about these
    "powerful allies" of theirs, too...
    4. A Faerie-ful Queen - Make sure the Faerie Bulb is fully upgraded!
Let's focus on helping Fwipple recover, for now... Inform Kaz.
Preedle>The Glimmer Faeries might be mad at ya, but you still have us Blythes at your side!

Although this ends Blythewood Faeries Part 2
we have unlocked a new Adventure: Envoy to the Fur Burrow.
Look forward to the next installment & meeting the dire boar Leader...

    The Blythewood Faeries Part 3

Glimmerwood antics have run rampant once more! Only this time, something far more nefarious may be at hand...
No one has seen anyone suspicious about, have they? Ensuring the kingdom's safety is a ruler's top priority!!!

Sabina: It has been so very long since that poor little Faerie entered the Faerie Bulb...
I wonder how she is doing?
I think I will go check on her, and make sure she is recovering nicely!
    ...Hmm? That is most odd...
Was that not Azalea of the Glimmerwood Faeries?
But, are the Glimmerwood Faeries not still upset with us?
...Perhaps I should see what she is up to, just in case...

Sabina>I am certain she means no harm! Still, it is best to be on the safe side and check.
    1. Spritely Snooping - Follow Azalea among the Flowers(Is there something in the plants?)
Trail Azalea through the Market Place (Doing some light shopping... ?)
Check the Faerie Bulb (They better not be after Fwipple again!)
Sabina>She appears to be distressed! Perhaps I can be of assistance?

    Sabina: Um... Hello, there! Azalea?
    Azalea: EEK! Who's there?!
Sabina: Aah! I am sorry, Azalea--it is only I, Princess Sabina.
    I was just wondering if--
Azalea: *YOU*?! Oh, so you're SPYING, now? Go away!!!
Sabina: What? No, I meant no harm! But you looked like you could use some help.
Azalea: Not from *YOU*, I don't! Everything is all YOUR fault!
Ugh, she's probably not here anyway... Leave us alone!!!
    *Azalea zips away*

IVY: Hey Sabina! Wasn't that Azalea, just now? What's up?
Sabina: Yes, it was... I think something is wrong!
She seemed to be looking for something, so I offered to help.
She only got mad at me, and flew off! She said it is all my fault...
IVY: You? I doubt that--you're the sweetest person I know when it comes to Faeries!
    Sabin: You really think so?
IVY: Definitely! She's probably just still mad at us about the Goddess Tree.
Sabina: Ah, yes, perhaps. Though, something is definitely wrong!
IVY: I'll say. Let's pay a visit to the Plume Hive and check on things!

Ivy>We should go alone--if we bring the whole kingdom, we might cause a panic!
    2. Panic At The Plume Hive - to the Plume Hive (Time to go investigate!)
Ivy>Hmm... Where are all the Faeries... ?

Sabina>Azalea? I am sorry if I upset you, Azalea. Please, let us help!
...Hmm, that is odd. I do not see her anywhere...
IVY: Yeah, I don't see her either? Nor any of the other Faeries, for that matter.
Come on out! We don't mean any harm--just tell us what we can do to help!
Sabina: I do not think they are here, Miss Ivy. Where do you suppose they went?
IVY: I don't know, but something seems off. Let's look around and see what we find.

Ivy>They can't *really* still be hiding, can they?
You'd think they'd at least have come out and yelled at us by now...
    3. Anybody Home? - search for clues (Keep searching the Magic Garden!)
Ivy> Magic strings? That's odd... I wonder what they're for?

Ruler: Ivy! Sabina! Where have you two been? We've been looking for you.
IVY: Sorry! Did we miss anything?
Old Thomas: Only the most delicious strawberries I have ever tasted!
We thought you two might like to try them...
...Or bake a delicious strawberry cheesecake, perhaps?
Sabina: Ohh, that *does* sound delightful!
But, it would seem we may have an urgent matter on our hands...
Ruler: Urgent? Did something happen? Is everyone OK?
Sabina: We are not sure. We think something may have happened to the Faeries.
Preedle: The Faeries?! Those Glimmer brutes aren't after Fwipple again, are they?
IVY: I don't think so, Preedle, but we may want to check on her.
All the Glimmerwood Faeries are missing!
Ruler: What? What do you mean, "missing"?
Sabina: I saw Azalea searching for something near our lands.
When I offered to help, she panicked and ran off!
IVY: I suggested we go check things out at the Plume Hive.
But when we arrived, there was no one in sight!
Not even a pinch of Faerie dust!
Ruler: Hmm... That's really strange! Did you find any clues or anything?
Sabina: We did! We found these odd strings in the surrounding gardens.
Ruler: Great find! Let's have Lady Greselda examine them and see what she can find.
Preedle: What about Fwipple?! If someone's out there hurtin' Faeries...
Sabina: I agree. I will go and help you check on her, Preedle.

Lady G>My, these strings are most bizarre! This is going to require some better equipment...
We'd best visit the Magic Forge, dears.
    4. An Ominous Glimmer - Examine the Shimmering Strands(Get more from the Magic Garden!)
Check on Fwipple (She's resting in the Faerie Bulb!)
Lady G>The results are in. This bodes ill for our Faeries, I think...

Preedle: Hey, kiddo. How ya doin'?
Fwipple: Mmm, I'm much better now! This bulb is real comfy!
Preedle: Yeah, you look lots better now. I'm glad to here it!
C'mon, I'll introduce ya to everyone!
    Fwipple: Everyone... ?
Preedle: Don't worry, Fwipple, these humans ain't half bad!
    They helped me free ya.
Fwipple: Oh! Ahh... Hello. And, um... thank you for saving me!
Ruler: Don't mention it! We're just happy we could help.

Lady G: Unfortunately, it seems our efforts toward that end are not yet complete.
Fwipple: P-Oh? Um... What do you mean?
Preedle: While you were out, Ivy and Sabina found these weird strings.
    You find something out, Grizzy?
Lady G: Grr... Yes, I did...
These strands have a magical quality about them.
...or, rather, an ANTI-magical quality. They contain--or *drain* --magic.
    Preedle: What?! That's awful!
Fwipple: Oh, no! You found those around here somewhere?
Lady G: No, dear. They were found near the Plume Hive.
Ruler: This can't be good. That clan has been a bit shady lately...
...but I doubt they would go so far as to make anti-magic string!
Lady G: Not just string--the pattern of the threading suggest they came from a net.
Fwipple: So... Does that mean someone tried to capture the Glimmerwood Faeries?
Sabina: They did not simply try--they succeeded! All the Faeries there are missing!
    Fwipple: That's horrible!

Old Thomas: Young Ruler, as your Royal Advisor I must advise we declare a state of alert.
While it is true this did not occur on our lands, we face a potential threat.
Ruler: I agree. We need to move Fwipple and Preedle to a safer location.
Sabina: Oh! They can stay with me! I will protect them with all my might!
Ruler: I don't doubt it. Thank you, Sabina.
Sir Thurston: I shall warn the knights to be on their toes, My Liege!
Should any threat dare tread our way...
...our swords and shields shall be at the ready to defend these lands!
Ruler: Great! Just what I like to hear, Sir Thurston!
Old Thomas: Then I shall work with our craftsmen to reinforce our lookouts and defences!
Fwipple: All of you are doing so much to protect us, though I hardly know you...
    Thank you. Truly!
Ruler: Like I said, we just want to help! Go with Sabina--you two will be just fine.

Thurston>Worry not, My Liege! No one in this kingdom will be harmed on MY watch!
    5. Threatening Threads - Take Fwipple and Preedle to safety
(Get them settled in at Sabina's House!)
Rally the knights! TO ARMS! (Prepare them with any adventure!)
    Reinforce the kingdom! (Watchtowers/Lantern Spires)

Thurston>I, Sir Thurston, do here by declare this kingdom sufficiently prepared!

Ruler: You two getting settled in OK?
Preedle: We sure are! This place is real nice!
Fwipple: Yes! Thank you so much for your hospitality, Princess Sabina!
Sabina: It is a pleasure, my friends! I promise to take very good care of you both!
Ruler: Okay, so now that they're safe and we've secured the kingdom...
What are we going to do about the Plume Hive?

Old Thomas: It is difficult for us to plan our next step without knowing what happened there.
However, Miss Ivy and Princess Sabina report there is no one left...
IVY: True... but, if we act quickly, there just might be something we can do!
Ruler: Yeah? What do you have in mind?
IVY: When we were little, my sis had a potion that told her if I'd invaded her room!
Ruler: ...Okay... What does that have to do with the Plume Hive?
IVY: When Lady Greselda started teaching me, I began trying to recreate that potion.
I'm certain that creepy purple cow was eating my pies, you see!
    Purple Cow: Moooo?
Old Thomas: Oh! Ahh... How troublesome... !
Did you ever find out what happened with your pies?
IVY: No... I figured out the potion, but too much time had passed.
    Old Thomas: *Whew!*

Ruler: Guys. Focus. Plume Hive? How is this going to help us?
IVY: Oh, right! Well, it's called the Fadeprint Elixir.
When you drink it, it shows you impressions of the recent past!
Ruler: Oh! So if one of us drinks it, we might see what happened at the Plume Hive?
IVY: That's right! We just need to brew it, then head to the Plume Hive and drink it!
Ruler: Great! Well, what are we waiting for? Let's start brewing!
IVY: Well... Unfortunately, there?s a key ingredient that I really need...
    ...

Preedle: ...Watcha lookin' at *us* for?
IVY: See, the key ingredient... It's Faerie dust! So--
Preedle: No way!!! I don't think so! You can find your Faerie dust somewhere else!!!
Ruler: Please, Preedle. We really need your help!
    Otherwise, we may never find--
Preedle: The Glimmerwood Faeries? Who would wanna help those brutes?!
*They're* the ones who put us all in danger!
It's their fault we're in this mess!
Fwipple: Preedle... I think we should consider it.
Preedle: What? Fwipple, you can't be serious... What they did to you... !
Fwipple: I... I know... But, we must be kind and understanding!
Preedle: *They* weren't very kind or understanding with us!
    They *attacked* you!!!
Fwipple: No matter what the Glimmers do, we Blythes must be true to ourselves!
Plus, if there's a threat out there, helping them also protects us, right?
Preedle: I... Alright, I guess you're right... Fine, we'll share our Faerie dust.
Ruler: Thank you, Preedle and Fwipple. I promise, we'll get to the bottom of this!

Ivy>This is a really complicated potion!
I'll need lots of Blythedust, Enchanter's Essence and Water.
...And keep that creepy cow OUT of here!!!
    6. A Potion From, And For, The Past - chop Blythewood Trees for Blythedust;
prepare the Fadeprint Elixir (The sooner we drink it, the better!)

    Search and Rescue, Part 1

Trouble abounds throughout the Glimmerwood! Rest will come when all has been set right!
Once the impressions of the past have been revealed, new clues and information may surface as to what precisely happened.
Lady Luck be with us in our search, as we get to the bottom of who would commit such an atrocity! Let us hope we find our missing friends swiftly...

IVY: Alright! You ready to go find out just what happened at the Plume Hive?
Ruler: As ready as I'll ever be. I'm a bit nervous about what we might find...
Old Thomas: Normally, I would advise that you take your time...
...However, in this case, time is of the essence!
The longer we delay, the less effective the Fadeprint Elixir will be.
Ruler: Yeah, you're right, Old Thomas. I can't afford to delay.
And anyways, no amount of worrying will change what happened.
Okay. It's now or never! Who all is going with us to the Plume Hive?
Sabina: I feel as though I absolutely must! And Miss Ivy, as well.
IVY: Yeah. We can point you in the right direction based on what we found, and where!
OT: I feel I will be of most use here. I am intrigued by the magic strands we found.
I may be able to find records of similar substances used in the past!
Ruler: Good idea, Old Thomas! Let us know what you find when we return.
    Okay? Ivy, Sabina? Let's go!

Ivy>We gotta hurry if we want to make the most use of the Fadeprint Elixir!
    1. A Link To The Past
    (To the scene of the crime!) return to the Plume Hive;
drink the Fadeprint Elixir (Time to find out what happened... !)
Ivy>Whoa, there! You feeling OK? You look a bit woozy...

    Ruler: Ugghhh... My head...
IVY: Oh, jeez. Okay, maybe we should stop with the mind-altering potions.
Ruler: No, no, I'll be fine. I just need a moment to--
    ...huh? Hey! Who's there?!
Sabina: Hmm? I don't see anything?
IVY: Oh! It's the elixir! It's working!
Ruler: Oh? This is really weird. There's a couple shadows over there.
IVY: Yes, that's the effects of the Fadeprint Elixir! What do you see?
Ruler: Well, there's... there's a few figures... They appear to be struggling!
Sabina: Oh, no! That must be the faeries! Can you tell what they look like?
Ruler: Some of the shadows are definitely faeries--they must be the Glimmerwood Faeries.
With them... I... it's too faint for me to see much, but it's definitely human!
Wait! No, no! This is bad?
IVY: What is it? What's happening?
Ruler: It's... It's the Faeries... The human figure managed to subdue them, and...
Sabina: And what? Are they ok?
Ruler: They're... fine, I think... but, the human was able to capture them in a net.
IVY: The net whose weird strings came from! They used it to capture the faerie?
Ruler: Yes. The human is carrying them off, now? Guys, this is really bad...
Sabina: Someone seized the Glimmerwood Faeries? Who would do such a horrible thing?
Ruler: I don't know, but we're going to find out, and we're going to rescue them!
The struggle started here, by the Magic Garden, and moved towards the forest.
IVY: Alright, well that's a better lead than we had before!
We'll search that area especially well this time and get to the bottom of this!

Ivy>Keep looking for clues! We know where the conflict happened now,
so there's got to be something here that will tell us who attacked the Glimmerwood Faeries!
    2. Glimmerwood Private Investigators, Inc. Find Clues!
(Search every rock, bush, flower, and tree!)

Sabina: Oh, no, this poor flower! It has been completely crushed!
Ruler: Hmm... This appears to have happened from the struggle...
Sabina: Perhaps Lady Greselda will be able to tell us how it was crushed?
Ruler: It's worth a try! Let's bring it back with us, and see what she thinks.

Ruler: Look, over here! There's a piece of cloth hanging on this bush!
IVY: Hmm... It looks kind of familiar, doesn't it?
Ruler: Yeah, but I can't recall where I've seen this pattern before...
Ivy: Maybe the others will have better luck?
Ruler: Hopefully. Let's hold onto it and bring it back with us.

IVY: Hey, guys! Come check out this rock!
Sabina: Oh my, it is quite scratched up... What do you supposed happened?
Ruler: I don't know, but I'd say it's a sure sign of struggle.
Sabina: It may have happened during the conflict between the Faeries and their captor!
Ruler: I'll say! Maybe Sir Thurston can tell us something from the strike pattern?
Ivy> Interesting finds... but what do they *mean*?

Old Thomas: Welcome back, Young Ruler!
Did it work? Were you able to see what happened?
Ruler: It did. Unfortunately, couldn't see much...
But, it was enough to pint us in the right direction!
Old Thomas: Oh? Were you all able to find more clues about the incident?
IVY: Yeah! I found this rock, and Sabina found a crushed flower!
Sabina: Yes, yes! We believe they were damaged during the conflict!
The Young Ruler was also able to find a piece of torn cloth.
OT: Cloth? That sounds like quite the promising find!
Ruler: We hope so! We think it may have come from whoever took the Faeries.

Preedle: So the Faeries *were* kidnapped, huh? Good!
    Serves 'em right!
Fwipple: Preedle, please... If nothing else, remember they could be after us as well!
We need to find out what happened, for our own sake as well as theirs...
Preedle: Fine, fine. But still, we've got... What, a flower, a rock, and an hankey?
What's *that* gonna tell us about some Faerie-napping crook?
Ruler: We were hoping Lady Greselda might discern something from the flower.
Lady G: That pile of wilted petals? I'm a witch, dear, not a psychic.
Ruler: Well, then... Sir Thurston? What do you think of these scratches?
Thurston: My Liege! According to the Knight's Code, Rule 94:
Thou shalt be well-versed in all a sword's ways of cutting and scratching!
    Ruler: Great!
    Thurston: ...
    Ruler: ...Sir Thurston?
Thurston: ...Alas, My Liege, I have never been very good at it.
Ruler: Alright. It looks like we need to come at this from a different angle.
OT: I have an ample supply of protractors back at my house!
Ruler: ...Not that kind of angle, Old Thomas.
    OT: Oh...
Ruler: We need to loo at everything as a whole. Take in the big picture.
IVY: I used to paint when I was little!
    Ruler: No...
What I mean is, we need to bring all our clues together and study them as one.
Lady G: Simply put, dears... We need a tracker.

Ivy>Oh, of course! A tracker! Luckily, I think we have just the guy for the job. Trolls are huge on hunting, right?
    3. Back To The Present - Enlist Kaz's help (There's no way he's still angry, right!)
Ivy> Well, here goes nothing! Maybe... don't mention the faeries...

    KAZ: Oh, its you.
Ruler: Hey, Kaz! How're you doing?
KAZ: Find. What do you want?
IVY: Jeez, can't we pay you a visit without having an agenda?
    KAZ: ...
Ruler: Okay, okay. The truth is, we were hoping you would take a look at something.
KAZ: That depends on what it is.
Ruler: Here, it's some stuff we found... near a struggle of some kind...
We're trying to find out what happened.
KAZ: Hmm... Yeah, something bad definitely happened.
These scratches don't look wild. And no animal would crush a flower like this?
Wait... Is there FAERIE DUST on this cloth?!
    Ruler: Uhh... There might be?
KAS: I TOLD you! I'm DONE dealing with Faeries!!!
    Ruler: Wait! Kaz!!!

Ivy>Ugh, why does this always happen? He's just as bad as Sir Thurston and Trolls!
    Er... Sorry, Sir Thurston...
    4. Troll Trust - check the Swampy Pond (Did he go for a relaxing swim?)
(Blow off some steam with a spar?) check the Troll Pit.
(Maybe he just went to his other home... ) check the Troll Castle.
Ivy> There he is--entering the Troll Castle! Hey, Kaz! Wait up!!!

KAZ: When will you people get it through your heads?
I am NOT getting involved with any more dust-headed Faeries!!!
Ruler: Kaz, they're in trouble! We have to try and he--
KAZ: No! They CAUSED all of this trouble! They deserve whatever they've got comin?!
Preedle: Yeah! Finally, someone actually makin' sense around here!
    KAZ: Eh? Who are *you*?
Preedle: The name's Preedle, and I'm with you!
Ain't no way we should be stickin' our necks on the line for the Glimmers!
KAZ: Don't *you* go includin' ME in that "we" of yours!
For all I know, you're just as bad!
Preedle: What?! You can't be serious!
Fwipple: Preedle, he's right! Holding a grudge like this and abandoning your fellows...
When we do that, how are we any different from Lady Ivinea?
KAZ: Heh. See? Even Faeries don't like other Faeries!
Fwipple: *You're* not behaving much better, you know!
KAZ: Huh? You got somethin' to say to me, dustbag?
    Fwipple: Yeah, I do!
Preedle: Fwipple, calm down. You're still weak from--
    Fwipple: I don't care!
These good people are trying to do everything they can to help us--ALL of us!
I might be small, and I may not be capable of much...
...but I want to help others, and be a good Faerie!
And I'm certainly not going to let the misbehaviour of others excuse my own!
KAZ: I gotta admit, pixie, you got spunk. So, I tell ya what--I'll consider it.
You go back and rest up, and I'll think on it here in our Castle.

Thurston>What a display! Did you see the way little Fwipple handled that brutish Kaz? Truly inspiring!!!
    5. Fwipple The Good - take Fwipple back to Sabina's house (She really should try to get more rest... )
Meet Kaz at the Troll Castle (Let's see what he has to say *now*...)
    Thurston>Worry not, My Liege!
My sword remains at the ready, should Kaz remain unswayed!

Ruler: Hey, Kaz. Have you had enough time to think it over?
KAZ: Yeah, I have. Here's what I've decided...
The pixie's right. No matter what the Faeries do to us, we Trolls have honor.
I'll help you figure out whatever it is you're trying to figure out.
    Ruler: Great! We found--
KAZ: BUT... I have a condition.
Ruler: Oh, right... Of course. What is it?
KAZ: The fact remains, we're still hurting from the Dire Boar attacks.
Mush of our land was destroyed, and our warriors are wounded and spent.
Ruler: Mmm, I see... Is there anything we can do to help?
KAZ: Right now, your kingdom has far more resources than ours does.
You have the materials and workers needed to rebuild our lands.
You do this for us, and in return I will assist your investigation.
Ruler: Thank you, Kaz. Just point us where you need help, and we'll do what we can.

Kaz>Our greatest need right now is a way to train our young. Once they're up to snuff, they can help out around here.
If you can get us set up with a new training grounds, they can take it from there.
    6. Deal Or No Deal? Purchase a troll training grounds(The Trolls need a place to train their young!)
upgrade the grounds (Get the young warriors well-established!)
(They need new weapons... ) give Longswords; give Golden Nuggets (They can buy new supplies with this!)
    Kaz> Hmm... It's definitely not Troll-made, but...

Ruler: So? What do you think?
KAZ: It's a bit bland, and the training dummies don't look all that sturdy...
    Ruler: ...
KAZ: ...But, it's well-equipped. I suppose it'll get the job done.
    Ruler: Great!
KAZ: Everything it lacks, we can purchase with that gold.
Ruler: Er... Good, I'm sure it'll work out...
So, anyway... Does this mean you're willing to help us out, now?
KAZ: A deal's a deal. Show me what you've got, and I'll see what I can do.

Kaz>Sorry if I sound harsh. I'm under a lot of pressure dealing with the damage from the Dire Boars.
Now that we've got the training ground, though, I can spare some time to help you out.
    7. Close Enough - give Kaz the crushed flower (There's a strong scent of magic on this?)
give the scratched rock (What could have caused those scratches?) give the torn cloth (Likely from the culprit... Familiar, too... )
Kaz>This is an odd assortment of scraps, but I think I've got a lead...

    To Be Continued...

    1. Faerie Feud
Preedle: Huh? Hey, ain't you... ?
Azalea: Oh my blossoms! That crude outfit... You *must* be a Blythe imp!
Preedle: Imp?! Take that back, ya two-faced Glimmer hob!
Azalea: How dare you! I suppose I should expect nothing else from an uncultured puck!
Preedle: I'll show YOU "uncultured"! C'mere ya little--
Ruler: HEY! Come on, you guys. We're all on the same side here!
Kaz: Hah! Like those bickering pixies could ever work together.
Azalea: Excuse ME, Mr Me Angry Troll, Me Slay Troll Kings!
Preedle: *You're* one to talk! Glimmers betrayed all faekind under your slimy queen! And for what?! The support of some crazed human?
Azalea: We did what we had to in order to survive! Without Queen Ivinea--
Kaz: Yeah, that's right. Can't do a single thing yourselves, can you? You little gremlins hide behind some lofty face and let her string you along!
Azalea: Queen Ivinea is a kind and benevolent *leader*! Of course, I shouldn't expect a brute like you to understand!
Preedle: *He's* a brute? *You're* the one who TRAPPED A FAERIE IN A TREE!!!
Ruler: ENOUGH! Okay, clearly there are a lot of issues between you three. But it's going to take all of use to figure out what's threatening the kingdom!
Kaz: It's not *my* problem. Far as I can see, the faeries brought this upon themselves with their meddling!
Preedle: Don't ya loop *us* in with the Glimmers! We had nothin' ta do with their schemes!
    Azalea: SCHEMES?! We--
Ruler: OKAY. Kaz, sit this one out if you really want to. I can't force you to do anything. But Azalea and Preedle, I really need you two to work together. Do you think you can do that? For both your clans' sakes?
Preedle: Sure, I'll help *you* out. Just don't expect me to do *her* any favors!
Azalea: Yeah, likewise! And I don't want *her* contaminating my plume!
Preedle: Contaminating?! Ya gotta be kidding me! Blythes are the *most* natural--
Ruler: Alright, guys, we get it! We'll build you two some separate homes for your stay while we figure this out. Deal?
    Preedle: DEAL!

    2. Bristly Grizzy
Ruler: Alright you guys, welcome home! How do you like your new houses?
Azalea: Ooo... These flowers! They have such colorful and soft petals!
Preedle: What a neat roof! It looks just like a beetle's shell!
Azalea: Ugh... How could you *possibly* stand living in that thing?
Preedle: Great! *I* can actually breather the air without a buncha pollen chokin' me up!
    Ruler: *Here we go again...*
Azalea: Typical Blythe. Even flowers can't stand your presence!
Preedle: At least I'm not some delicate Glimmer, flitting around terrified of everything!
    Greselda: Silence! *Both* of you!
    Preedle/Azalea: ...!
Greselda: In case you haven't noticed, dears, the ruler here is *trying* to help you. YOU especially, Miss Azalea! so if *you* hope to ever see your sister and queen again and *you* hope to secure a safe home for yourself and Fwipple, then I *suggest* the two of you bit your tongues!!! Am I understood?!
    Preedle/Azalea: ...
Greselda: Good. Now, then... I believe you wished to say something, Young Ruler?
Ruler: Thanks, Lady Greselda. Or priority here is finding Lila and Queen Ivinea. Once we make sure they're safe, then we can focus on figuring out who did this. Azalea, what can you remember about the attack?
Azalea: It's not much, but... When I escaped, I was vaguely able to tell which way they were headed.
Ruler: It's as good a start as any! Think you can point out the way?
Azalea: Sure! Get me up high enough, and I'm sure I'd be able to retrace it.
Ruler: That's the plan, then! Let's bring you up to the kingdom's lookout towers.

    2a. Witch Knows Best
Ruler: Do you see something, Lady Greselda?
Greselda: Yes! There, to the North. Can you see it? Smoke is lifting through the canopy...
Azalea: Oh, no! That the direction they were headed!
    Ruler: You're sure?
Azalea: Definitely! After I'd encased myself in the thicket, I could hear some talking. It was real muffled, but I *did* hear them say "further North"!
Ruler: We'd better check it out. Hopefully, Queen Ivinea and Lila aren't caught up in that fire...
Greselda: ...but, if they are, they are going to need immediate attention.
Azalea: Oh, Lila... We're coming for you!!!
    Greselda: *You* aren't going anywhere.
    Azalea: Huh? But, they're--
Greselda: I know you are worried, but you are in no condition to be travelling.
Ruler: Lady Greselda's right, Azalea. Plus, what if the person who attacked you is there? We can't risk you getting recaptured so soon after we *just* saved you.
Azalea: I... I guess you're right... But, I want to help!
Greselda: I have a proposal. We can leave you in Princess Sabina's care. She will be able to oversee your recovery. Additionally... If you talk with her, you may recall more information which could help us.
Azalea: Well... Alright, I can give that a try... Just please hurry and bring Queen Ivinea and Lila home!

    2b. Scorched Search
Ruler: Oh, no... this is terrible! So much of the forest has already been destroyed!
Greselda: This area was definitely burning recently, but it seems to have stopped. Thankfully, the damage didn't spread too far.
Ruler: Yeah. We should be able to clean all this up and plant new trees in no time! But what about Queen Ivinea and Lila? Do you see any sign of them?
Greselda: I think our efforts would be best spent focusing on separate tasks. As magic is my specialty, I'll search this area for any trace of them. Of course, that leaves you to the dirty work of clearing and replanting. I hope you are okay with this?
Ruler: Your plan sounds pretty solid to me. I'm all for it! It may not be the most glamorous work, but I'm happy to help however I can.

    2c. The Second Saving
Greselda: Young Ruler, come quick! I have located on of the missing faeries!
    Lila: Ahh... Ouch... It hurts!
Ruler: Lila! Thank goodness we found you!
Greselda: She's here, but she's quickly fading, Young Ruler. We must return to the kingdom immediately!
    Ruler: What about Queen Ivinea?
Greselda: I'm afraid there's no sign of her. If we don't go now, Lila's condition... She may not make it.
Ruler: Right. Okay, let's go. We can come back for Queen Ivinea later!

    2d. Lila's Lotion
Azalea: Lila! Lila!!! Where is she?!
Greselda: Azalea, get out! Who let you in here?!
Sabina: Oh, dear! I am so sorry, Lady Greselda! As soon as she heard you both had returned, she just--
Azalea: Lila!!! You witch! Why is she on that cold table? Can't you see she's HURT?!
Greselda: Keep this up, and *you'll* be in far worse condition than she!!! Now the, are you going to calm down and allow me to work? Or will I have to throw you to the Glimmer Traps?!
    Azalea: You wouldn't dare... !
Greselda: For the sake of saving *your* sister? Do not doubt my conviction.
Azalea: ...I'm sorry. I just... I'm just so worried about her!
Greselda: I understand, dear. But you must please give me some space to work!
    Azalea: yes, ma'am...
Greselda: Now, then. Where is the Young Ruler?
Ruler: I'm here, Lady Greselda. What are we looking at? Will she be okay?
Greselda: She's stable, however we will need to do more for her to make a full recovery.
Ruler: Go it. Just tell us what needs to happen, and we'll get right on it!
Greselda: What I need is to concoct a healing balm from Azalea's dust.
    Azalea: Huh? Mine?
Greselda: Yes. The magic in your dust most closely aligns with Lila's. Thus, your dust, and yours alone, will be needed in order for the balm to work.
Azalea: Then yes, please! Take all the Glimmerdust you need! Anything to make sure Lila's okay...
Ruler: Don't you worry about a thing, Azalea. Lady Greselda's an expert--Lila's in great hands, I guarantee it!

    2e. Track Checking
    Azalea: ... .......
Greselda: Alright, alright! You can come see her now.
Azalea: LILA!!! Oh, Lila, are you okay?
Greselda: Calm down! You'll overwhelm her!
    Lila: It's okay, Lady Greselda.
Azalea: Lila! I was so worried... how are you feeling?
Lila: It still hurts a bit when I move, but I feel much better now. That balm really did the trick, Lady Greselda!
Greselda: Pleasure. I hate to break up the happy reunion...however, we still have quite the problem on our hands. Queen Ivinea--
Lila: Oh no, the queen! Did you find her? Is she alright?
Ruler: I'm sorry... We're still working on it There was no sign of her in the forest.
Lila: Dear blossoms, this is bad! I fear our Plume Queen may be in trouble!
Azalea: Our beloved lady... We've failed our maid duties! We should be protecting her!
Lila: What should we do?! The Plume Hive is lost without our queen!
Ruler: We're here to help, Lila. We found both of you. We'll find Queen Ivinea, too! What can you remember? Anything, even the smallest detail, could help!
Azalea: Yeah! Did you hear the person who did this? Did you see them?
Lila: It's all so hazy... My head *still* hurts from being in those any-magic sacks!
Lila: I had just started to wake up when it suddenly got really warm. There was... yelling, I think? And flames everywhere! It burned away the sacks. The last thing I saw was Queen Ivinea running away, and a figure chasing her.
Ruler: If we brought you back, do you think you'd be able to show us which way?
Lila: Mmm... yes, I think so! I can remember the shapes of the trees...
Ruler: Okay. When you're fully recovered, we'll head out. Don't worry, you two. We'll find her--promise!

    3. Hectic History
Old Thomas: How are our guests finding their accommodations?
Ruler: Well enough, for now. Who knows how long it'll be before they're at it again.
Old Thomas: Yes, they do seem rather... volatile...
Ruler: It seems no matter what I try, they just won't stop fighting. And as if there weren't enough problems between the two faerie factions...Kaz gets into it with them, too! What should I do, Old Thomas? I feel like I've tried everything...
Old Thomas: This may be difficult to accept, but there may not be much you *can* do.
Ruler: If I'm to be a good ruler, shouldn't I be able to solved these kinds of problems?
Old Thomas: Even if you could, what is to stop them from occurring again? Sometimes, what people need is to be empowered to help themselves.
Ruler: I see. That way, they can learn how to prevent it from happening again?
    Old Thomas: Exactly!
Ruler: Okay. So, how do I help the Faeries and the Trolls with that?
Old Thomas: For that, Young Ruler, we must turn to the past...

    3a. Looking Towards Tomorrow
Ruler: There's so much going on in all these texts, Old Thomas! It's difficult to keep everything straight...
Old Thomas: Yes, it is quite the mess, is it not? The history between the Faeries and Trolls is quite old, and filled with turbulence.
Ruler: How could it have gotten *this* confusing, though?
Old Thomas: With age, things grow less clear. Bias warps memory away from the truth. It is thus anyone's guess as to what truly happened so long ago.
Ruler: But if we don't figure it out, how can we help them sort it all out?
Old Thomas: The events of the past are not quite so important as the people of today. What really matters is how we treat each other, and help build the future.
Ruler: We need to be able to forgive each other, to be respectful and kind.
Old Thomas: That is right, Young Ruler! Thus, this is my advice to you... The best thing you can do as a ruler is to remind our friends of that. Give them a model behavior to aspire towards. Inspire and motivate them. It may be a long process, but they will be better off in the end.
Ruler: Yeah, you're right, Old Thomas. Thank you for your advice!

    Spoiler: show
    Good Ol' Glimmermouth

A monstrous beast! reported the Lake Patrol. Sound a little fishy...
See for yourself, be prepared to Go Fishin' and catch this fabled fish!

Thurston: My Liege! I have important news from the Lake Patrol!
Ruler: We have a Lake Patrol?
Thurston: Of course! According to the Knight's Code, Rule 72:
Stay alert! Thy enemies may approacheth by sea as well as by land!
Ruler: Fair enough. So, what's the report? Did they spot any enemies?
    Thurston: Nay, My Liege.
Rather, it seems one of the lakes is home to quite a large fish!
Ruler: How large are we talking?
Thurston: One of the knights claims it swallowed a sword whole, and barely batted an eye!
Ruler: ...I'm pretty sure fish can't bat their eyes.
Anyway, it sounds like this fish is quite the monstrosity!
What do you advise we do, Sir Thurston?
Thurston: There's only on thing to be done about fish this huge, My Liege:
    Cook them!
Ruler: Sounds like a plan to me! But first, we'll need to catch one.
Thurston: The Lake Patrol will hunt down these beasts, and slay them where they swim!
Ruler: ...Considering you just said it ate one of your knights' swords...
Why don't we consult with Old Thomas about it?

Old Thomas>A giant fish, you say? What a marvel!
Catching one will require the proper equipment. First off, the bait!
Perhaps you are familiar with this old addage: "Use small fish to catch a bigger one!"
    1. Fish Tale (Check Mermaid Ponds, Ponds, and Rustic Wells!) catch a Blue Fish.
Old Thomas>Ah! This little fish will serve our needs very nicely!

Ruler: Alright, Old Thomas, we've got our fish! Now what?
Old Thomas: Now, we make the bait! This is the tricky part.
The best bait will look lively enough to attract the fish...
...but not so much it scares the fish off!
Ruler: You seem to know a lot about fishing, Old Thomas.
Old Thomas: I may not look it, but I was quite the fisherman in my youth, Young Ruler!
It requires a lot of practice, patience, and the right equipment.
We can make the equipment easily enough, but the rest must come with time.
Ruler: Alright, if you say so. What other equipment do we need, then?
Old Thomas: Well, we require a Fishing Pole, of course!
Judging by the Lake Patrol's reports detailing the fish's size...
I think we would benefit from a Fishing Net as well.
Ruler: That sounds easy enough! I'll get the craftsmen on it right away!

Old Thomas>Once we have prepared all the necessary equipment,
we will be able to embark on our very first Royal Fishing Trip! Is it not exciting, Young Ruler?
    2. Old Fisherman Thomas - craft some bait (Bring the Blue Fish to the Magic Forge!)
craft a fishing pole (The Workshop makes these from Sugar Cane!)
craft a fishing net (Bring Rope to the Workshop to make this!)
Old Thomas>Equipped with these items, I am certain we will catch the Lake Patrol's fabled fish!

Thurston: My Liege! Are you certain we can catch that fish with these things?
Ruler: Why not? Old Thomas seems to have confidence in them.
Thurston: Glimmermouth is no plain fish, My Liege! He is a true beast, a terror to behold!
    Ruler: ... 'Glimmermouth...' ?
Thurston: 'Tis what the Lake Patrol has taken to calling him, My Liege.
Ruler: Sir Thurston, have you actually seen this fish the patrol is telling you about?
Thurston: I... Erm... N-No, My Liege...
Ruler: Why don't we just give it a try and see how it goes?
Worst case, we come back empty-handed and try again later.
    Thurston: With swords and steeds?
Ruler: Swords, yes. Steeds... I don't think they'd fare well in the lake.
    Thurston: Oh. Right.

Thurston>Feast thine eyes upon mine bait, pole, and net, O Glimmermouth, and tremble before My Liege!
    3. Good Ol' Glimmermouth - Go Fishin' using either Plain or Super Bait;
Adventure to Go Fishin' to catch Glimmermouth!
Thurston>Hark! Be that the horrid Glimmermouth?
He is... smaller than I had thought...

Old Thomas: How was your fishing trip, Young Ruler?
Ruler: Great! Did you see the fish we caught? Glimmermouth is really big!
Not quite like Sir Thurston thought, but still much larger than regular fish.
Old Thomas: I am pleased to hear the trip was a success!
I feel I must emphasize, however, the importance of the bait you use!
Ruler: Yeah. Without it, we wouldn't have been able to lure Glimmermouth in.
Old Thomas: Plain Bait will suit your needs well enough.
To make the most of your trip, however, I must insist upon using Super Bait!
Ruler: That's going to require a lot of Blue Fish to make so much bait...
Old Thomas: Might I suggest an alternative, Young Ruler?
By constructing a Bait Market, you can skip the Blue Fish altogether!
Not only that, but a Bait Market will be better at their trade than our workers.
You will always get a Super Bait from a Bait Market, and perhaps more!
Ruler: Hmm... Alright, I'll think about it!

Old Thomas>The Bait Market will provide us with a steady source of Super Bait.
If we're lucky, they may have a second bait to spare, or even the occasional Glimmermouth!
    4. The Bait Market - Place a Bait Market (200 gem buy in the Market)
Old Thomas>I am certain this will prove to be an excellent investment, Young Ruler!

Thurston: ...Is that him, My Liege?
    Ruler: Yup. It sure is.
Thurston: He looks... larger than normal, to be sure, but...
Ruler: Not much of a 'terror to behold,' huh?
Thurston: I admit, it seems the Lake Patrol's reports were a bit... exaggerated...
    Ruler: Yeah. A bit.
But that's alright, it was still a great discovery!
Thurston: You truly think so, My Liege?
Ruler: Sure! This is way more fish than we usually get from out ponds and wells.
Thurston: Yes, 'tis! Does My Liege believe the kitchens can make good use of Glimmermouth?
Ruler: I do! Shall we go see what we can get out of this guy?
    Thurston: Right away, My Liege!

Ivy>Wow, this fish is gigantic! You got this from a nearby lake?
I bet this one fish can make us lots of meals!
    5. The Tasty Terror Of The Deep - cooking with Glimmermouth (Take Glimmermouth to the Kitchen!)
Ivy>That was a great haul! Keep fishing for more Glimmermouth, and we'll never be in want for fish food again!

end of story, but there is always time to fish!

    PART 1:
Ivy: Oh, today has been so frustrating!
Ruler: What's wrong, Ivy? Nothing serious, I hope!
Ivy: No. I'm just disappointed. I wanted to plant new flowers, but I am out of space!
Ruler: Hmm... I wonder if there is a way to create a more compact garden? Compact plants... Oh! I wonder if I could breed some new smaller plants species!
Ruler: I'm sure with your s****s you could totally do it!
Ivy: Aww, shucks! Thanks, Ruler! I'm excited! I'm going to get started on plant research right away!
Ruler: Excellent! I hope we can increase the kingdom's output with this!

    PART 2:
Old Thomas: Hello, Young Ruler! You seem rather busy, and I have not seen Ivy in ages! Could I be of any assistance?
Ruler: Hello, Old Thomas! Ivy and I have been experimenting with space-efficient plant life! And right now I think she is researching...
*A loud BOOM can be heard in the distance...*
Old Thomas: My goodness! Miss Ivy, are you okay?!
Ivy: I thought I almost had it! Buy my cauldron exploded, and you can the result... Maybe a larger cauldron would help?
Old Thomas: I am certain I have read of similar plant work before... I just need to find the scroll! In the meantime, make sure you have a Storage Cellar! I will explain when I return!
Ruler: Wow! Look at Old Thomas go! He must be as excited about this as we are!
Ivy: It certainly seems so! I wonder what he meant about needing a Storage Cellar... Oh well! In the meantime, let's get back to work! After I take a quick bath.

    PART 3:
Old Thomas: I have returned, Young Ruler! And with the scroll as promised!
Ruler: Very good, Old Thomas! What did you find out?
Old Thomas: Ahem. According to "Hefty Harvests ad Happy Horticulture", we must build an Arboretum!
Ivy: Ooo~ What is that? It sounds fancy!
Old Thomas: You see, Miss Ivy, one can combine the properties of two plants into one hybrid plant! It is simply magnificent!
Ivy: Wow! That's like exactly what we needed! Excellent!
Old Thomas: Once we build an Arboretum, you can experiment with hybrid plant life!
Ivy: So we can make all sorts of new plants?
Old Thomas: Precisely! I am excited to record our discoveries!
Ruler: The possibilities seem endless! Let's build this Arboretum! I hope that with the new plants we can make our kingdom even more beautiful!

    PART 4:
Ivy: I'm so excited! I want to get working on my super flowers right away!
Ruler: As do I! I think we can really beautify and better the kingdom with these new plants!
Old Thomas: Yes, very good. But before you two start, I need to explain about the Storage Cellar. The Arboretum can ONLY use plants stored within the Storage Cellar.
Ruler: So I need to place Ivy's plants in the Storage Cellar?
Old Thomas: Yes! This way we do not use plants that you had not intended to breed. So place any plants for the Arboretum in the Storage Cellar first!
Ivy: Okay, that makes sense! I'll grab my plants and place them in the Storage Cellar!
