    * You must have Sabina's house, Thurston's Fort and the Elven Outpost to trigger these goals.
    * This storyline unlocks a whole new island to the south of the Glimmerwoods called the Island of Audra
    * The timed goal below was only available to players when this goal was released. The timed goal is only to complete Part 1 within 7 days of the release of the goal.

    * Drink the sweet cider 0/2 GIVE (skip 70)

    Congratulations: Adamir: Ah, I'm much warmer now! Where do I begin?


    Adamir: The elves and the realm are allies, surely some of our armor is used by the knights.
    Goal 2:
    * Search the watchtowers 0/1 GO (skip 10)
    * Find the windchaser shield 0/1 GO (skip 10) | not a guaranteed drop. Only the original watchtower will drop this item.
    Rewards: 100 coin, 10 xp
    Congratulations: Adamir: This is exactly what we need!


    Adamir: It is a sad tale. That weapon brings nothing but darkness. We must find it!
    Goal 3:
    * Search for the windchaser sword 0/1 (skip 12) | You can go on any adventure in the CASTLE, so go short ones like Toadstool @ 2 hours, or Gone Fishin' @ 4 hours if you have them. It's collecting from an adventure that clears this goal. The sword drops from the adventure.
    * Find the windchaser sword 0/1 GO (skip 12)
    * Forge windchaser armor 0/1 GO (skip 135)) | Magic Forge, 1 hour - 1 windchaser sword, 1 windchaser shield, 5 Mithril
    Rewards: 100 coin, 10 xp

    Goal 4:
    * Search the farmhouse 0/1 GO (skip 10)
    * Find the windchaser arrow 0/5 GO (skip 50) | | not guaranteed, but plentiful.
    Rewards: 100 coin, 10 xp
    Congratulations: Thurston: Here, one of the trespasser's arrows!


    Adamir: We need to find Kalani...though, we should go with weapons in case.
    Goal 5:
    * Make golden paint 0/1 GO (skip 70) | Potion Shop, 30 minutes - 20 white petals, 10 red petals, 10 water
    * Forge a golden arrow 0/10 GO (skip 800) | Magic Forge, 1 hour - 1 golden paint, 1 windchaser arrow (from farmhouse in previous goal)
    Rewards: 100 coin, 10 xp

    Adamir: Payne has flown through many storms. He should keep up with Nadina nicely!
    Goal 6:
    * Introduce yourself to Payne 0/1 GO | simply press Go to complete this goal.

    Goal 7:
    * Journey to the Island of Audra 0/1 GO | Expansion requirements: W17 - Find the Elven Bow, 1600 RP, 120,000 coins, 10 wisp lanterns
    Rewards: 100 coin, 10 xp
    Congratulations: Adamir: Ah, we're here. Welcome to the Island of Audra.


    Adamir: I'm unsure if this is the work of magic...or something else.
    Goal 8:
    * Investigate the cloud 0/1 GO (skip 20) | collect from a cloud - market, 500 coins, or find in an expansion plot
    Rewards: 100 coin, 10 xp
    Congratulations: Adamir: Did you find anything?
    Note: When the plot opens, the Clouds are greyed out and need collecting from to unlock them. They have a green arrow on them. Select the green arrow and then they are available to collect from.
    Note: The Clouds are now available to purchase from the market for 500 coins. There are 2 types, but they have the same drops.


    Adamir: I've never seen this before, but I've heard tales. Let's take a closer look.
    Goal 9:
    * Gather cloud stones 0/25 GO (skip 500) | The lightning stones are rarer; the cloud stones are bountiful! The cloud has a 10 minute timer.
    * Give cloud stones to Adamir 0/25 GIVE (skip 500) | wait till you have 25 and the first goal completes before you give them to Adamir.
    * Give lightning stones to Adamir 0/250 GIVE (skip 500)
    Rewards: 100 coin, 10 xp
    Congratulations: Adamir: These stones, they're so very beautiful.

    Clear any monsters off your board for this goal as you need to spawn the skyhawk from the cloud. They are a bountiful spawn!
    Adamir: This island is home to the wild Skyhawk, watch out for their sharp talons!
    Goal 10:
    * Explore the clouds 0/1 GO | collect from the cloud to you spawn a skyhawk. 15/15 hits to defeat.
    * Defeat the wild skyhawk 0/1 GO
    Rewards: 100 coin, 10 xp

    Adamir: Kalani would have returned to her birthplace to find her sister, the Temple of Storms.
    Goal 11:
    * Journey to the Temple of Storms 0/1 GO | Expansion requirements: expand to W18 first- 1800 RP, 160,000 coins, 13 wisp lanterns, 1 expansion permit; and then to the Temple of Storms, W19 - 2200 RP, 220,000 coins, 15 wisp lanterns, 1 expansion permit
    Rewards: 10000 coin, 10 xp, + Bounty Hunter (if finished in 7 days), + Skyhawk

    Goal 1:
    Ruler: Wow, this storm is getting pretty noisy!
    Baron: We've been stuck inside this tavern for hours!
    Thurston: We haven't seen a storm like this in ages, my liege!
    Ivy: It's a good thing we have the tavern to keep us safe and warm!
    Old Thomas: Why hello there, Young Ruler... Sir Thurston... Miss Ivy.
    Ruler: Hey, Old Thomas! What've you got there?
    Old Thomas: Oh, well, I stumbled upon some old books in my study. This one is full of wind maps!
    Ruler: Wind maps?
    Old Thomas: Yes, you see...
    Adamir: My friend... I fear I come to you in need of help.
    Ruler: Adamir? It's been a while, what's going on? Have you come to seek refuge from the storm as well?
    Adamir: I apologize for the intrusion. You see, the elves are in quite the predicament.
    Baron: Well, that's my cue! Child, not only is this gather rather boring, but the rain is lulling me to sleep. I shall retreat to the tavern's sleeping quarters and take a nap.
    Ruler: What's going on, Adamir? Here, warm up with a warm cider and sit.

    Goal 2:
    Ruler: So, what's going on, Adamir?
    Adamir: You see, my friend, the elves are in great need of your help. Nadina and I flew here as fast as we could... the Staff of Audra... it's been stolen.
    Ruler: The staff of what now?
    Adamir: The staff of Audra. It is one of the most powerful weapons known to the realm. Us elves have kept it safe for many years after its...troubled...past. I fear it is the reason for the storm...and they're going to get much worse.
    Thurston: That doesn't sound good, my liege.
    Ruler: No, it doesn't. What can we do to help, Adamir?
    Adamir: We'll need to travel, and far. It will be hard in this storm, but if we can find some elven armor lying about the realm, it should be light enough for our birds to carry us to our destination.

    Goal 3:
    Ruler: So, this staff, where did it come from?
    Adamir: The staff belonged to Queen Audra, hence its name. She was a powerful elf, witch of the skies, but dark magic took hold of her. Her weapon was tainted with the dark magic that overtook her. She is survived by two daughters, Kalani, a great warrior who has served the elves for many years. And Lulani...who was banished for siding with her mother...
    Ruler: What happened to Queen Audra?
    Adamir: There was a war, between the light and dark elves. Kalani was forced to slay her mother, and retrieve the staff. She spared her sister, but Lulani and the dark elves were banished to live on the Island of Audra, named after their queen.

    Goal 4:
    Thurston: My liege, I come with news.
    Ruler: What is, Thurston?
    Thurston: A strange woman, wearing elven armor, was spotted on a nearby farm. The knights tried to stop her but were met with arrows.
    Adamir: Elven armor, you say?
    Ruler: Let's go check it out...

    Goal 5:
    Thurston: My liege, look. It is one of the arrows shot towards the knights.
    Ruler: Wow, it's so lightweight.
    Adamir: Let me see that... This is no ordinary arrow, my friends. This belongs to Kalani...but what is she doing here?
    Ruler: And why was she shooting arrows at the knights?
    Adamir: That is a good question.
    Ruler: Could she have stolen the staff?
    Adamir: No...no way... I mean... I don't think so. There must be more to this. We should prepare ourselves for any outcome, however. We must be prepared.
    Thurston:
    Ruler:

    Goal 6:
    Adamir: My friends, I have word on Kalani. Whilst there was a break in the storm, she was spotted flying towards her homeland.
    Ruler: Where's that?
    Adamir: The Island of Audra. We must go at once.
    Thurston: But the storm...it will pick back up soon...
    Adamir: I know it is a treacherous journey, but I feel worse awaits us if we do not follow her and find out what is happening.
    Ruler: Alright, we'll go. how do we get there?
    Adamir: The Island of Audra is only reachable to sky and sea, but the storm has made the seas too treacherous for ships. We shall fly.
    Thurston: My liege, I uh, I think I shall stay.
    Ruler: What's wrong, Thurston?
    Thurston: A knight's duties are to be performed on the ground, not in the skies...
    Ruler: You're afraid of heights aren't you?
    Thurston: I fear nothing, my liege. I only wish to serve my duties on soil.
    Ruler: That's alright, I'll go with Adamir, you stay here.
    Thurston: Thank you, my liege.
    Adamir: My friend, meet Payne. Nadina's brother. He shall carry you safely over to the Island of Audra.
    Payne: Cawwwww!
    Ruler: Why hello there, Payne!

    Goal 7:
    Ruler: Alright, I think that's all that we'll need.
    Adamir: The skies are becoming darker, my liege. Another storm approaches fast. We'd better move quickly then. The skies show no mercy.

    Goal 8:
    Ruler: Phew, we made it! That was a close one.
    Adamir: The skies are clearer here, almost as if we're in the eye of the storm... Magic must be protecting the island from the storm.
    Ruler: Look at these clouds, why're they so close to the ground?
    Adamir: Hmm, something must be weighing them down. Let's take a look!

    Goal 9:
    Ruler: These clouds...they seem to be slowly...crystalizing.
    Adamir: Let me see... I fear you're right. This must be caused by the Staff of Audra... Let's gather some of these stones, maybe we can find some use for them and learn more about what's happening here.

    Goal 10:
    Ruler: This island is so beautiful... You know, I think this is the first time I've left the realm since...
    Adamir: Since when?
    Ruler: Well, since I woke up... I don't remember anything before then.
    *Cccaaawwwww*
    Ruler: What was that?
    Adamir: Look, in the clouds! Shadows!
    Ruler: It looks big! What is that?
    Adamir: I hope it's not what I think it is...

    Goal 11:
    Ruler: Are you alright, Adamir?
    Adamir: I am fine, and you?
    Ruler: A little battle is good for the mind! Does that bird belong to Kalani?
    Adamir: I believe that skyhawk is one of the native birds of the island...though I do imagine Kalani has come here. Quick, follow me before we attract anymore company!

    6 goals | there are no timed goals in this part



    Adamir: We must be quick and quiet, we do not know what Kalani is up to.
    Goal 1:
    * Enter the Temple of Storms 0/1 GO (skip 3) | collect from the Temple (4 hour timer or 8 gems to speed up if you want to start immediately)
    Rewards: 100 coins, 10 xp, windchaser lantern craft now unlocked
    Congratulations: Adamir: Do you see anything?


    Adamir: You handle the skyhawks, I'll try and decipher these blueprints!
    Goal 2:
    * Defeat wild skyhawks 0/1 GO
    * Gather skyhawk feathers 0/4 GO (skip 128)
    * Gather cloud stones 0/6 GO (skip 120) | if you want to, park a monster and collect from the clouds to get the stones and then go back to defeating wild skyhawks for the feathers
    * Forge a windchaser lantern 0/1 GO (skip 275) | Workshop, 5 hours - 4 skyhawk feathers, 10 wisp lanterns, 6 cloud stones | you will need 2 windchaser lanterns to expand in goal 5 and you can craft them both now if you want to
    Rewards: 100 coins, 10 xp
    Congratulations: Adamir: There are too many of them! We must retreat!


    Adamir: I hate to retreat now, but we need backup!
    Goal 3:

    Ivy: I'm sure everything will be fine! He just has to hold on tight!

    Ruler: *Achoo*! Everything is covered in dust...
    Adamir: Look, here, this book. It's been opened recently.
    Ruler: What is it?
    Adamir: It's instructions, blueprints for supplies necessary to explore the island. If we wish to travel further, we may need it.
    *Cawwwwww*
    Ruler: Uh oh...
    Adamir: Oh no...the skyhawks must have followed us here.

    Goal 3:
    *Cawwwww*!
    Ruler: Adamir! Watch out!
    Adamir: Thanks, friend!
    Ruler: We need to retreat...we need more people!
    Adamir: But we're so close...
    Ruler: I know, Adamir, but we won't make it.
    Adamir: You're right. Quickly, back to Nadine and Payne!

    Goal 4:
    Ivy: Hey! You're back a lot sooner than we expected.
    Ruler: We had to retreat... We're going to need help to find Kalani.
    Ivy: I'll go!
    Ruler: Thanks, Ivy. We'll need all the help we can get.
    Ivy: Where's Thurston?
    Ruler: He's...afraid of heights.
    Ivy: Really? Oh, come on! We'll convince him to go.
    Ruler: I don't know, Ivy. He seemed pretty adamant about staying on the ground.
    Ivy: There's nothing a little magic can't fix!

    Goal 5:
    Ruler: Wow, that thunder is loud.
    Thurston: Indeed it is, my liege. That is why we must depart soon! Adamir informs me it will only get worse.
    Ruler: Thurston! You're going?
    Thurston: Of course, my liege. I hear this trip is dangerous. You will need my protection!
    Ruler: How did you convince him to come, Ivy?
    Ivy: I have him a scroll and told him it would allow to fly if he falls.
    Ruler: Wow, you can do that?
    Ivy: I have no idea, but it worked!
    Ruler: Oh boy...

    Goal 6:
    Ruler: I need to dry off!
    Ivy: Me too! Flying through that storm has me soaked!
    *Thunder crashing*
    Ivy: Whoa, that was loud.
    Ruler: Yeah, sounded close.
    Thurston: My liege, the crashing comes from that cloud.
    Adamir: This is definitely the dark magic from the Staff of Audra...
    Ruler: Do you think Kalani stole the staff?
    Adamir: I've no idea why'd she do such a thing...
    Kalani: That's because I wouldn't.
    Adamir: Kalani!
    Kalani: Welcome back to the Island of Audra, Adamir. It must be years since you've stepped foot on these lands.
    Adamir: Indeed it has. What're you doing here, Kalani?
    Kalani: Same think as you, I imagine. I've come for the Staff of Audra.
    Adamir: Do you know who took it?
    Kalani: I do, but for now, I need to rest. It's been a long journey. The storm's had me stranded in this spot for the last few days. Why don't you all look around and I'll catch you up later?

    Goal 1:
    * Visit the tavern 0/1 GO (skip 7)
    * Visit Thurston's fort 0/1 GO (skip 15)
    * Visit the Temple of Storms 0/1 GO (skip 3)
    Rewards: 100 coins, 10 xp
    Congratulations: Kalani: Alright, let's do this.


    Kalani: We must reach my sister before the bounty hunters do. Nothing good will come of that.
    Goal 2:
    * Search the Island for Lulani 0/1 GO | Expansion requirements: W21 - 2800 RP, 375,000 coins, 2 windchaser lanterns, 3 expansion permits
    Rewards: 100 coins, 10 xp
    Congratulations: Kalani: What's happening to the clouds?


    Adamir: If we destroy the Sky Shards we may be able to hinder the spread of the dark magic!

    * Find any clues 0/1 GO (skip 30) | the clue is found by defeating the Skyhawk. It might take a couple of times to defeat before the clue drops

    Adamir: How can I forget...she was banished.
    Kalani: Banishment was a mercy at the time...but her time alone on this island with the dark elves took its toll. I'm afraid the same dark magic that took over our mother has taken over her and forced her steal the staff. She now wields the staff, and we must take it back, before she suffers the same fate.
    Adamir: I'm so sorry, Kalani.
    Kalani: Apologies aren't needed, but your help is. Help me retrieve the staff and save my sister before she destroys the Glimmerwoods in an act of vengeance.
    Ruler: Destroys the Glimmerwoods?
    Kalani: She'd see to nothing sooner. These storms are just the beginning.
    Adamir: We're here to help, Kalani.
    Ruler: All of us.
    Thurston: Huzzah!
    Ivy: Let's do this!

    Goal 2:
    Ruler: Alright, is everyone ready?
    Ivy: I think so!
    Thurston: Wait...what is that overhead?
    Ruler: Wow, they're flying fast!
    Kalani: Was that...a bounty hunter?
    Adamir: Kalani, I'm sorry... I had to tell them.
    Kalani: They'll harm Lulani!
    Adamir: Kalani, I promise if she surrenders, no harm shall come to her.
    Kalani: She wont surrender! I must find her first... There's no time to argue, we must go now.
    Adamir: I had no choice... She will destroy the realm.
    Ruler: We know, Adamir. You're trying to do the right thing. Come on, we'll find her.

    Goal 3:
    Adamir: What...what is this? What's happening to the clouds?
    Kalani: Lulani's magic...it's spreading... We must stop it, if it spreads too far it can reach the realm. It will do far more damage than storms.
    *Caawwwww*
    Adamir: Skyhawks...
    Kalani: Everyone get ready... I have a feeling things are just getting started.

    Goal 4:
    Thurston: My liege, look.
    Ruler: What is that? Some kind of fabric?
    Adamir: Let me see that... This is...
    Kalani: ...the dark elves...
    Adamir: Indeed.
    Kalani: Our problems have only grown worse if that is the case. My sister must have them fighting for her. If we're to go up against the dark elves, we must regain our strength. Let's return to the Temple of Storms. We can rest and come up with a plan.

    Goal 5:
    Ruler: The Temple of Storms is beautiful... Look what I've found! What are these drawings?
    Kalani: Those are the wind patterns of the island. The paths we must travel can get quite treacherous without a map. Especially if Lulani is where I think she is...we'll need to go through the West Winds. The maps were lost by our people long ago.
    Ruler: Wait -- do you mean wind maps?
    Kalani: I do.
    Ruler: I think I know where they might be..

    Goal 6:
    Old Thomas: Why, Young Ruler. I am so glad to see you.
    Ruler: No time for talk, Old Thomas. We need those wind maps!
    Old Thomas: Oh, you have come to finally listen about my wind maps!
    Kalani: This, here, the Map of the West Winds.
    Old Thomas: Oh, yes, go right ahead. Take a look!
    Ruler: Old Thomas, we need this, to save the realm!
    Old Thomas: On another adventure I see. You are welcome to anything you need.
    Kalani: This is exactly what we need. If we follow this, we can reach Lulani's Lair.
    Adamir: We will need more help, as great as our group is, the dark elves will be too dangerous to face in such a small group. We shall to to the Bounty Hunter's Outpost. They should be there by now. They will help us fight the dark elves and defeat Lulani.

    Goal 7:
    Ruler: Whoa...
    Thurston: It looks like some type of battle has befallen the post, my liege.
    Adamir: Indeed it has... I see no sign of our bounty hunters...
    Thurston: Perhaps they're inside?
    Kalani: There's no way my sister's warrior have overtaken the bounty hunters.
    Adamir: There's only one way to find out.

    Goal 8:
    Adamir: Hello? Is anyone here? It is I, Adamir...
    Bounty Hunter: Adamir...
    Adamir: Oh, my, it is one of our bounty hunters!
    Bounty Hunter: I'm sorry, Adamir...there were just too many of them. We weren't able to defeat them in battle.
    Adamir: Where are the others?
    Bounty Hunter: I'm afraid I'm all that's left here... A few might have escaped and made their way towards Lulani's Lair but it's hard to tell.
    Adamir: Lulani must be stopped at once.
    Bounty Hunter: I pledge myself to you and your group, I will stop at nothing to defeat this new dark queen.
    Kalani: Hold your tongue. You know not of what you speak.
    Bounty Hunter: I think I got a pretty good idea of her intentions first hand. I will take her with my own arrow.
    Kalani: No harm shall come to my sister.
    Dark Elf: Halt! Freeze, in the name of Lady Lulani!
    Ruler: Ladies, I think we'll have to revisit this conversation later...

    Goal 9:
    Kalani: I fear we are surrounded...
    Adamir: Not to worry, we have some of the best elven warriors at our side.
    Ivy: And the realm's best knight.
    Thurston: And our fearless leader!
    Ruler: Let's do this!

    * Enter Lulani's Lair 0/1 GO (skip 3) | will spawn Lulani
    Rewards: 100 coins, +10 xp

    Kalani: Dark magic and thunder swell within the clouds... Lulani is sure to destroy the realm with her dark magic soon.
    Thurston: My liege, the clouds move toward the realm! We must go back and warn everyone.
    Ruler: Thurston's right. We must go back.
    Kalani: I will wait here for your return.
    Adamir: Kalani, it's not safe...
    Kalani: I can hold my own. Go, warn your people and return. We will find my sister soon enough and stop this nonsense.

    Sabina: Thurston!
    Thurston: Sabina, my dear, I'm so glad you're safe.
    Sabina: The storms...they've caused so much damage...dark magic comes from the sky.
    Thurston: I know, my sweet Sabina.
    Old Thomas: What in the name of the Glimmerwoods is happening, Young Ruler?
    Ruler: Don't worry, Old Thomas, we will fix this... Everyone, take shelter, Keep each other close and stay safe. We will be back. Thurston, it's time for us to go.
    Thurston: I cannot go, my liege.
    Ruler: What?
    Ivy: Thurston...this may be the most dangerous adventure our ruler has taken on. It is only appropriate their best knight be at their side. Come with us.
    Thurston: I know, Miss Ivy. I know that this is a dangerous journey. My liege, I beg your pardon and ask to stay with the realm. They need protection now more than ever. I cannot leave them.
    Ruler: I understand, Thurston.
    Old Thomas: Young Ruler, I beg that you reconsider. Thurston has sworn to protect you and always has. In this dark hour, you may need him now more than ever.
    Ruler: You're right, Old Thomas, I may. But the realm needs him more.
    Thurston: Your bravery is unmatched, my liege. This is why I've sworn myself to you.

    Goal 4:
    Adamir: Kalani, you're safe.
    Kalani: I told you I could hold my own. I'm glad you're back though, I've located Lulani's whereabouts.
    Adamir: That is great news.
    Kalani: Where's your knight?
    Ruler: He's protecting everyone back at the realm. It's just us.
    Kalani: Well, it'll have to do. See that lair over there? That's where Lulani will be.
    Bounty Hunter: It looks like a few of the bounty hunters made it here... I see signs of battle.
    Adamir: You're right...
    Kalani: Then we must move quickly.

    Goal 5:
    Kalani: Lulani's old helmet... She best not be harmed, Adamir... If she is, she brought it on herself! Then you've brought my wrath upon yours.
    Lulani: Ladies, ladies, what's all the fuss about?
    Kalani: Lulani! She...she looks just like mother did...
    Lulani: Sister... I see you found my old helmet. Ratty old thing really... but great for knocking around a few bounty hunters.
    Bounty Hunter: My aim is great, dark queen. I shall strike you down.
    Lulani: Aww, that's cute. I'm afraid you won't be able to do much, though. My magic grows stronger by the second...and soon you and all of your people who banished me away to this island will pay.
    Kalani: Lulani, please, return the staff. You can overcome this darkness. Do not suffer the same fate as our mother.
    Lulani: What fate? The one where she died at your hand? Are you going to strike me down, sister?
    Kalani: Please...Lulani...
    Lulani: Prepare yourselves then... I have powers you might find quite shocking.

    Conclusion: A Victory In The Realm (after goal 5 is complete)
    Lulani: What...what happened?
    Kalani: You've lost, Lulani.
    Lulani: But...I can't... my magic...
    Kalani: You've escaped with your life, Lulani. Unlike our mother.
    Lulani: You spared me?
    Kalani: I'd have spared her to if I had the chance. Come with me now, sister. I'll take care of your while you recover. I will help you rebuild this land to what it once was.
    Ruler: We'll all help. We'll be happy to.
    Kalani: Thank you, friend.

    Thurston: Huzzah! The storm has cleared! My liege! You've made it back!
    Ruler: Thurston, I see you kept everyone safe.
    Thurston: Of course, my liege.

    Ruler: What do you mean? This could answer so many questions! Like where did I come from? How did I get here?

    Ruler: Hey, Old Thomas! I found this strange book. here, take a look.
    Old Thomas: Oh my... Where did you find this, Young Ruler?

    Old Thomas: How much did you read?
    Ruler: Enough to know that I need answers. What's this all about? Who's this King Brian III?
    Old Thomas: Ah.. I knew this day might come. The Old Kings' history would no doubt be hard to bury forever...
    Ruler: The Old King?
    Old Thomas: He ruled this land many years ago...
    Ruler: What happened to him?
    Old Thomas: Some say he went mad...others say he was overtaken by greed and evil. Either way, you needn't worry about it, Young Ruler.
    Ruler: But who's the Council?
    Old Thomas: They used to protect this realm, they were the only ones who could overturn the laws or directions of the Old King.
    Ruler: Do any of them still live here?
    Old Thomas: The last member was seen years ago, shortly after the Old King was banished.
    Ruler: Where did they live?

    Goal 4:
    Ruler: Hmm... It seems whoever lives here is long gone...
    Thurston: Indeed, my liege. Now, maybe we should go...
    Ruler: Wait, look here, Thurston...a letter... *Dearest Joshua...It is good news the child has been delivered. You must make sure at all costs they remain safe in the mainlands of the realm. Find the realm's strongest knight.* The child? Is that me?
    Thurston: *Gulp*
    Ruler: Thurston? What is this?
    Thurston: My liege, I think it best you leave things be. This is all for your own protection...
    Ruler: Do you know about this Thurston? Are you this knight?
    Thurston: I...I... Well, the funny thing is, you're the one who ended up saving me... I was but in my delicates out there in the Glimmerwood.
    Ruler: Take me to this Old King.
    Thurston: My liege, I'm sworn to protect you. I cannot take you to such a dangerous place.
    Ruler: Then I'll go alone.
    Thurston: My liege, wait... I... I will accompany you.

    Ruler: This castle is huge...and so empty... Here, look, another letter... *As members of the council and protectors of the realm, we hereby banish King Brian III, also known as the Old King, to the Island of Audra for crimes committed against the realm.*
    Thurston: Not a bad place to be banished to. His new castle is quite lovely.
    Ruler: What were his crimes against the realm?
    Thurston: Only the council truly knows, by liege. Something to do with dark magic.
    Ruler: And where are they? Why did they disappear?
    Thurston: Their duty is to protect the realm. They had to make sure the Old King would never leave the Island of Audra.
    Ruler: So they're here?
    Thurston: I'm not sure, my liege. Their chambers have been empty since...well...
    Ruler: Since me?
    Thurston: The day you arrived was the day we saw the last of them. I was sworn to protect you no matter what, as you are the future of our realm.
    Ruler: But...where...where did I come from? Why don't I remember?
    Thurston: That I know not, my liege. I only know I am to protect you. I am sorry I kept this from you, but I knew it was for the best.
    Ruler: It's alright, Thurston.

    Thurston: Not exactly... I mean, everyone knows you're special my liege... I'm not sure any of us know exactly where you came from. Only the council would know that... As young as you may be, you're already a better ruler than the Old King ever was.
    Ruler: I wish I knew were they were... the Island of Audra is so big, and we've encountered many dangers there before. I need answers.
    Thurston: My liege...behind you...
    Ruler: What is it, Thurston?
    Thurston: Do you see that man? Is he watching us? ...
    Ruler: Who is that?

    Thurston: This farm... It used to belong to Sir Joshua of the Council. It couldn't be... Why would he come back to the realm?
    Ruler: Maybe he saw us sneaking around the Old King's castle.
    Thurston: I fear we may have stepped on some toes, my liege.

    Goal 9:
    Thurston: Old Thomas, we need your help. I believe a member of the Council caught us snooping in the Old King's castle.
    Old Thomas: The Old King's castle? Why in the realm were you there???
    Ruler: It was my fault, Old Thomas. I made him escort me. I need to find the council, I need to know were I came from.
    Old Thomas: I feared this day would come... I guess it is only right to let you learn the realm's true history and your role in it.
    Ruler: What do you know, Old Thomas?
    Old Thomas: This is information that I myself cannot bestow upon you. You must seek out the Council for the truth.
    Thurston: But Old Thomas...the dangers...
    Old Thomas: We cannot stop our Young Ruler from following their destiny, Sir Thurston. We can only guide them along their way. To safely pass through the forests of the Island of Audra, you will need a few supplies. I might also suggest taking a few knights alongside you.
    Thurston: I can rally them at once!
    Ruler: Alright, I guess this is happening. It's time to find out the truth!

    Goal 10:
    Ruler: Alright, I think we've got everything.
    Ivy: Wait! Wait! You can't journey to the Island of Audra without protection. here, help me prepare a brew! It's spell will protect you on your travels.
    Ruler: Couldn't hurt!
    Ivy: Alright, first we're going to need some hairs from a wild beast...
    Ruler: Oh boy...

    Goal 11:
    Thurston: Are you ready, my liege?
    Ruler: As ready as I'll ever be...
    Thurston: To the Council Chambers we go!

    Ruler: Whoa...this place is huge. Look at all these books!
    Thurston: These are all the old laws.
    Adrienne: Who enters the Council Chambers?
    Thurston: Lady Adrienne... It is I, Sir Thurston of the Glimmerwood.
    Adrienne: What brings you to the Island of Audra? No one from the Glimmerwood is supposed to leave its shores.
    Thurston: There is someone here to see you. I believe you're going to want to speak with them...

    9 goals. There are no timed components to this part.


    Goal Pre-requisites & Notes:
    * Starts immediately after completing Part 1.
    * There is a lot of collecting rare resources, so be mindful that Part 2 may take quite some time to complete.
    * Troll ax continues to drop from the sawmill so keep collecting as often as you can to build up your resources of this item for use later.

Once the goal is ticked, you can still use the hair of the beast, but be mindful you will need to defeat more fangbeasts as all of these resources are needed for expanding in the next goal.
    * Note 2: when you click on the yellow expansion arrows for this expansion plot, it will show the same text as this goal, however once you have gathered all items and they are ticked off, and the congratulations screen comes up, the expansion requirements change to USE in the next goal.

You will not spawn any more mysterious man from anywhere until he's needed again.... SW

    Ruler: Do you know where I cam from? Why I ended up in the Glimmerwood?
    Adrienne: It's a long, long, story... A book I am not sure you want to open. How about we chat over a warm meal?

    Goal 2:
    Ruler: So, who were my parents? Did you know them? I must have had parents, right?
    Adrienne: You did, Child. You did. *nod*
    Ruler: But...I...don't anymore?
    Adrienne: Sadly, Child, no.
    *Thunder claps in the distance...*
    Adrienne: I feel the skies are warning us of trouble... I urge you to return home, little one. The island is no place for a little ruler.
    Ruler: But...I have so many questions...
    Adrienne: There is a small cottage on the outskirts of the realm... This was your parent's cottage. The knight will know which one. Now go.

    Goal 3:
    Thurston: What was inside, my liege?
    Ruler: It looks like a fight broke out... Everything was destroyed... Look, one of Old Thomas's scrolls... A protection spell? We must speak to him at once.

    Goal 4:
    Old Thomas: I am glad to see you made it back from the island safely.
    Ruler: Old Thomas...what is this?
    Old Thomas: I, uh, where did you find this, Young Ruler?
    Ruler: In a cottage -- my PARENTS cottage. What happened to them?
    Old Thomas: Oh, Young Ruler... You wish not to reopen the wounds of the past.
    Ruler: But I do. I need to know.
    Old Thomas: As you wish... Your father was the true king of this realm, but he was injured in battle. He passed the crown to his brother, King Brian III, to rule in his stead as he healed. Unfortunately, power got to the Old King's head. He declared himself the only fit ruler of this realm.
    Ruler: So, the Old King is my uncle?
    Old Thomas: Indeed, Young Ruler. Your very own flesh and blood. When your mother and father found out they were with child, they kept you a secret from the Old King, knowing he wouldn't let an heir take his throne at any cost. Eventually, you arrived into this realm, bright eyed and innocent. When the Old King leaned of your existence, he sought to destroy your family...

    Goal 5:
    Old Thomas: young Ruler, what is it that you are doing?
    Ruler: I'm going back. I'm going to find this Old King. I'm going to avenge my parents!
    Old Thomas: This is exactly why we kept this from you, Young Ruler... The Old King is alive and well on the Island of Audra. I doubt his madness has ceased. The Council went through great lengths to protect you. That spell you found, your parents put on you. They knew what was bound to happen, so they made it so you could never remember.
    Ruler: I've fought plenty of enemies! I can handle one grumpy king.
    Old Thomas: You are this realm's one true ruler. You must follow in your mother and father's footsteps. You must remain safe.
    Ruler: As long as the Old King is out there -- no one's safe. I'll be back...
    Old Thomas: But Young Ruler... Thurston, you must follow them with haste.
    Thurston: Of course! I'm on it.

    Goal 6:
    Thurston: This is a lair fit for an evil king...that's for sure. Are you sure you need revenge right this moment, my liege? We could get backup, we could arrange for an army within a fortnight.
    Ruler: Thurston, you can either come with me or stay out here. I'm going in.

    Goal 7:
    Thurston: I don't think anyone's here, my liege. We should go...
    Ruler: Look, look here. There's a book... Laws of magic? It's a book of spells...dark spells... He must be planning to use them to take back over the realm!
    Thurston: Well, let' snot jump to conclusions! Maybe he's well-read?
    Ruler: I don't think so, Thurston.
    *crash*
    Ruler: What was that?
    Thurston: It's that mysterious man again!

    Goal 8:
    Thurston: Stop...right...there!
    Ruler: You're quite the fighter, tiring out my best knight... Who are you?
    Mysterious Man: My identity is not important in this matter. What is important, is that you stole that book.
    Ruler: Good! Now the Old King can't use it against us.
    Mysterious Man: But now he knows you're still alive... You shouldn't have come to the Island of Audra, little ruler.
    Ruler: I'm not so little! I'll show that Old King...
    Mysterious Man: You're right in that he's dangerous. He will try to take the throne back at any cost, especially now. You will need more than an old spellbook to stop him.
    Ruler: How can we do that?
    Mysterious Man: With light magic... Here, take this.
    Ruler: What is this, an old rock?
    Mysterious Man: It's much more than that. Once activated it can help protect you, some even say it wields power.
    Ruler: Great, thanks!
    Mysterious Man: You'll need help learning to harness this power. Knight, once the tome is activated, take the ruler to the Council Chambers. Seek out Breanna, she is well versed in the art of light magic.
    Ruler: And what about you? Wait -- where... He's vanished...

    Goal 9:

    Ruler: This tome is buzzing louder and louder...
    Thurston: I know, my liege. I fear it will attract beasts if we're not careful. Good thing we're almost to the chambers now...

    Thurston: We seek Lady Breanna, of Marsh.
    Breanna: Oh, visitors?
    Ruler: Whoa!
    Thurston: Lady Breanna, you look...different.
    Breanna: Well, even when you make spells for good you should avoid mixing them up with your favorite elixirs. To be fair, they both had a lot of bubbles. I kind of like the new look. I was told you might come. Well, what can I do for you?

    Breanna: This may not seem like a typical magic recipe...but it's just as magical as it is delicious!

    Thurston: They may be small, Lady Breanna, but their heart is enormous.
    Ruler: We fear the Old King has obtained dark magic, and is going to use it against the realm. We must stop him.
    Breanna: I see... I knew the Old King would rear his ugly head again one day. Alright, I'll teach you light magic. Let's start off with something simple...

    Goal 2:
    Ruler: Mmm, this is delicious!
    Breanna: Only the true of heart can drink it.
    Thurston: It is delicious! What happens if you're not true of heart?
    Breanna: Oh, it'll poison you.
    Thurston: ...
    Breanna: Don't worry, you're both good. Now, if you're going to defeat the Old King, you're going to need to learn a thing or two. I think we council members still have a trick or two up our sleeves we can share.

    Goal 3:
    Ruler: Now that I know some magic, I'm going to get so much done around the realm! And kick this Old King's butt.
    Breanna: Now, before you face the Old King...there's another you should seek council from.
    Ruler: Aren't you two the only ones here?
    Breanna: Yes, the only ones *here*. There are many council members, all with different s**** sets or trades. Some of them reside further in the forests. Keeping watch, ensuring the Old King doesn't return. You have magic behind you now, but you'll need to learn to fight.
    Ruler: Fight? I've fought plenty of beasts.
    Breanna: None like the mad king. There are only three who have. here, take this letter. Head south into the trees. Keep your eyes peeled, your destination is hard to spot. Give the woman there the letter, but try and spot her before she spots you.

    Goal 4:
    Thurston: My liege, we do need to tread carefully. The woman she speaks of is no laughing matter. She *really* doesn't like visitors.
    Ruler: You know her?
    Thurston: I did. She bested me in battle more than once.
    Ruler: Really?
    Thurston: She'll be a great teacher for you. She will push you hard, but it will be worth it.

    Thurston: My liege, are you alright?
    Ruler: I'm fine... I thought he was an ally? He helped us before...
    Thurston: I did too, my liege. I guess we know not his true identity.
    Haley: Thurston?
    Thurston: Lady Haley!
    Haley: Who's this with you?
    Thurston: It is the true heir to the realm.
    Haley: Wow, it's been so long. Look at how big you've gotten.
    Thurston: Who was that man in your hideout?
    Haley: I'm not terribly sure...but he's made a mess inside. Dark magic lingers in the woods here... I imagine the Old King has been successful in drawing even more power. Meet me back at the Council Chambers, we'll speak there.

    Goal 10:
    Haley: I see you two traveled safely.
    Ruler: Indeed! That map was super helpful.
    Adrienne: Now, to the matter at hand.
    Breanna: It seems as though the Old King has gained access to some very very very very dark magic.
    Haley: I found this spell in my hideout, the mysterious attacker must have dropped it.
    Breanna: Oooh, let me see, what does it say?

    Ruler: What's coming out of the tome? Is that smoke?
    Thurston: My liege, put that down!
    Adrienne: I feel funny...
    Haley: Me to...
    Breanna: I... I think it was the spell... My...light magic...it's fading...
    Thurston: The tome, my liege, it's spreading the dark magic... It's affecting them somehow... We must get to the realm quickly, my liege. You're in danger.

    Ruler: We have to help them, Thurston!
    Thurston: We will, my liege. But you must stay here. It is too dangerous.
    Ruler: Wait...Thurston...look...over there! The man! Hey! You! Stop!

    Ruler: What is going on?
    Mysterious Man: The...dark magic...it's taking over me...and now the council... You need...a...sword...of shadows...to destroy the dark magic... Hurry...before...you have to face my wrath!

    Old King: Silly knight... you will need more than a sword of shadows to destroy me. So long as I wear this ring, I will draw all the dark energy I can from this curse!
    Ruler: We have to get that ring... Thurston, prepare for battle!

    Ruler: Where...where did he go?
    Adrienne: He vanished...
    Breanna: I feel...better...lighter. Look, there on the floor! The ring!
    Haley: Quickly, we must destroy the tome so he can't regain his power and come back.
    Mysterious Man: To destroy it...someone must...wield the ring...
    Ruler: But won't they...
    Haley: Yes. They will draw in all of the same evils that overtook the Old King.
    Ruler: Well, as the ruler, it is my duty to protect the realm.
    Thurston: And to rule it...
    Ruler: Thurston, what're you doing? Put that ring down.
    Thurston: It is my duty to protect *you*, my liege... This realm will not be safe if you aren't here to lead it.
    Ruler: Thurston, don't do it! We can find another way.

    Ruler: What do you mean you keep the Council in shape?
    Damien: Magic isn't easy, kid. It's not like something you can just fall into. You've got to practice, you've got to keep at it. The moment you stop exercising your magic is the moment you fall behind. So come on, come with me, let's get going. I'll show you what it means to train with the best.

    Damien: You know, I think you've got a lot of potential to use really strong magic.
    Ruler: What do you mean?
    Damien: You're pretty good at using those spells.
    Ruler: Well, Breanna is the one who showed us all how to use the light magic.
    Breanna: And don't worry, little Ruler. I will fully take all of the credit for how awesome you are. But Damien is right. You're something special. And it's clear you were something special long before I ever came along. I mean, you don't create a whole magical council for someone who's not special.
    Damien: So true.

    Goal 4:
    Ruler: I have to admit, I am feeling a little tired after all of that magic.
    Damien: Totally understandable, little Ruler.
    Breanna: Casting spells is no easy work. Not even the most powerful witches and wizards in the world can do magic non-stop.
    Damien: That cost is too great. Why do you think King Brian is as awful as he is?
    Breanna: He's barely a human anymore...more just a shell. But that's the cost of relentless dark magic.
    Ruler: I would never want to end up like him.
    Damien: No, me either, and luckily for the rest of us, there's a very simple antidote.
    Ruler: There is?
    Damien: Yep! All you need to do is take a break and eat!

    Damien: Hey there! Do you have any time to help me out with a little something?
    Ruler: Sure, Sir Damien. What is it?
    Damien: Aw, just call me Damien. Sir Damien is my dad! Anyway, I just thought of this spell and I was thinking you might be interested in it too. But it's going to take me a lot of effort, and I mean a lot. This spell needs a lot of work. I can do it but I need help.
    Ruler: Of course, Damien. What can I do to help you?
    Damien: I need food.... and I need a lot of it!

    Ruler: Damien! Are you all right?
    Damien: Just... Catching... My breath...
    Ruler: Breanna, is he all right?
    Breanna: He's gonna be just fine... It was touch and go for a minute there, but he's fine. I'm not gonna tell him how close he was to being trapped in the spell forever...
    Damien: Don't... Worry... I knew.
    Breanna: Oh wow... You really are getting good at this spell.
    Damien: I saw the most amazing things I've ever seen... Grand worlds, new and old. I almost got lost... but I could see the little Ruler's face, and it kept me grounded.
    Breanna: Aww, yeah it's a real cute face, isn't it.
    Damien: I had to pull back before I wanted to... I knew I was getting lost but I was so close. For a moment, after the spell broke, I thought it all was for naught... then I found this.
    Ruler: What's this? It's just a piece of parchment...
    Breanna: No, little Ruler. That is no ordinary piece of parchment. That right there is one of your mother's precious spells!
    Ruler: My mother?
    Damien: When people depart this earthly realm, sometimes things are lost to the ether. But with enough magic enough love, and enough food, sometimes we can remember.

That is why King Brian wanted to destroy all that you had. The Council was created to ensure that you would take your rightful place, and that you would have all you need to thrive. When times got dark and King Brian's magic grew and the Council influence lessened, we at least knew that those around you in your realm would protect you.
    Ruler: But what is my rightful place?
    Adrienne: Aha now that? That is a story for another day. Now come with me, Child. I shall introduce you to another member of the great Council.
    Ruler: How many people are on this Council?
    Adrienne: We are many in number, and our reach is far. There are many powerful people who have served on the Council over the years. For your safety and security, it is best we introduce you to them slowly.
    Ruler: My what?!

    Goal 2:
    Erin: Allow me to introduce myself, Child. My name is Erin. It's a pleasure to meet you! I bet you're feeling a little overwhelmed with this whole thing.
    Ruler: I am, I really am.
    Erin: I completely understand. Losing your parents and finding out that your Uncle wants to **** you? That's dark. Luckily for you, you've got a whole load of friends and allies around you. Like me! I am here for you.
    Ruler: And.... who are you?
    Erin: I'm Erin... Remember? We just met. Are you sure you're feeling all right?
    Ruler: Yes, I'm fine. I just mean, who are you on the council?
    Erin: Ahhh now that? That's better if I just show you.

    Goal 3:
    Ruler: So you're an artist?
    Erin: Welllll... Sort of. You could call me an artist.
    Ruler: What do you paint?
    Erin: I paint EVERYTHING. This is my brush, Dave. Don't make eye contact with him. It will not end well for you if you do. But me and Dave have been through thick and thin. We go way back! And together, we can create anything. I just need a few supplies so I can get started.

    Goal 4:
    Ruler: So, what did you need all these potions for?
    Erin: Actually...I don't need any of them.
    Ruler: Wait, what?
    Erin: I don't need any of those potions, I just needed their potential! All of the work you did on them, all of the time and energy, that's pure magic, baby! That's the most powerful stuff around. And now, I'm going to use my brush to channel all that energy into creating something really meaningful!
    Ruler: What are you going to make?
    Erin: I'm not going to make anything. I'm going to repair... We're going to repair. We're going to repair your family home.

    Goal 5:
    Ruler: King Brian destroyed my family.
    Erin: Brian is a monster, he is not a King. Everyone here is so scared of him. I refuse to call him by so-called title. And yes, he destroyed your home, but it's because he is scared of you. He is weak. You can end his reign.
    Ruler: I... I don't know. I'm just one person.
    Erin: You're more than just one person. You're the Ruler of this realm. And you have all of us beside you to help you. Anytime you need us, just send up a spell. We'll come to you.
    Ruler: Thank you Erin.
    Erin: Don't thank me yet. We've still got work to do! Brian's power is tied to all he destroyed and ruined. If we can take something back from him, he will lose of of his power. It may not be a whole lot, but hey! Every little bit is gonna help.

    Goal 6:
    Erin: All right, little Ruler, I just finished my recreation spell. Take a look at this. Tell me what you think. Don't hold back.
    Ruler: Is that... My parents cottage?
    Erin: Yep! It's an almost exact replica. Brian was ruthless. Some things could not come back. But Dave managed to squeeze out most of it. Take some time inside, Child. I know it won't bring them back but it's more than you had.
    Ruler: Wow... I really appreciate it, Erin.
    Erin: Anytime! If you ever find something else you want to create, or recreate, let me know. Oh! I almost forgot. That sword that I gave you... We didn't have to recreate it at all. Dave found that buried under the foundation of the cottage. It belonged to your father.

    Shadow King: Curse you...sniveling brat! I should have k-illed you when I had the chance!
    Ruler: So why didn't you?
    Shadow King: ... Go away. Leave me alone to die.

    Goal 2:
    Shadow King: Leave me alone, Child. I do not wish to spend my last moments with anyone, let along someone from my family.
    Ruler: you said you had a chance to ki ll me... So why didn't you?
    Shadow King: I will regret that mistake for the rest of my life... which fortunately, should only be a few more moments.
    Ruler: Answer me!
    Shadow King: A pox on you, child! I left you alive because I sensed your potential. With how your parents were, so self-righteous, I knew you would likely end up like them. But for a moment I pondered... If I took you under my wing, how powerful you could be. The decision was made for me. Some sort of powerful force protected you. It was a mistake to leave you alive and it's one I will regret. Now, come on, Child. I am mortally wounded. Do what you must but finish the job.

    Goal 3:
    Ruler: I'm not going to hurt you.
    Shadow King: What? Why?
    Ruler: I'm your family, whether you like it or not. You're basically all I have left. So we're gonna work on a little rehabilitation.
    Shadow King: No... No... No!
    Ruler: Yes! You may not be a masterful, evil sorcerer anymore, but you're my uncle and you're still alive. We're gonna put that violent spirit to good use!


    Goal 4:
    Shadow King: I'll admit... I enjoyed that. Now that the ring is gone, my life energy feels different... My essence is drained. I cannot do much. I am no real threat to you, but ridding the realm of those rodents was invigorating.
    Ruler: Well, I wish I could fully trust you when you say you're not dangerous, but I don't. So my knights will be keeping a watchful eye on you.
    Thurston: Aye aye, my liege.
    Ruler: But if you'd like to continue expressing your anger on the pests of the realm, feel free.
    Shadow King: I'm not sure these arrangements will work for me in the long run, Child of my brethren... But for now, yes. I will help you defeat your stinky beasts.


    Goal 5:
    Shadow King: All this hard work has made my old bones ache... in a good way. My life was misery and pain, but it was all worth it because I had power. You took my power away, but you also took away my misery and pain.
    Ruler: Doesn't it feel so much better to be free?
    Shadow King: Humph. You sound like your father. They would be proud of you, your parents. For my part I am sorry. The power was too great. I was a weak man and I was tired of living in the shadow of my family. My brother was a better man than I could ever be. We were both constantly trying to prove ourselves, what with who our parents were...
    Ruler: Your parents? My grandparents? Who were they?
    Shadow King: Ah, ah, ah, Child. That's a conversation for another day. For now, let us enjoy some time in your beautiful realm.

    Ruler: Hmm...
    Ivy: Don't worry, ruler. No Skunkupines in this pie! I just need a few ingredients from around the realm... Some sweet, some not so sweet.

    Goal 2:
    Ruler: Look at that, Ivy! What's that troll doing over there with that candy?
    Ivy: I have no idea...
    Ruler: I know you can get a sugar rush from eating too much candy, but this is just ridiculous.
    Ivy: It took a whole handful of those Candied Leaves from me. I need them for my recipe...
    Ruler: Don't worry, Ivy. We'll get some more. And we'll stop that troll from taking any more sugar. It seems he's had enough.

    Goal 3:
    Ivy: Look at the way that amulet glitters, ruler.
    Ruler: It is a beautiful jewel...
    Ivy: Jewel? Oh no, no, no ruler! That's candy.
    Ruler: Candy? How can you tell?
    Ivy: There's only one way to find out for sure. *LICK* ACK!
    Ruler: Oh no, Ivy! Are you all right? Was it a poisoned jewel?
    Ivy: No, even worse... it's Bogberry flavor...Blech!

    Goal 4:
    Thomas: Now this is something very interesting...
    Ruler: Have you ever seen anything like this, Old Thomas?
    Thomas: No, I am afraid not...but I can tell there is something quite special about this amulet. I looked upon it closely with a magnifying glass. If you look deep within the gem itself, you can see the very artifacts used to create it! I will need to do some more experiments before I can be sure of the exact source, but it is clear to me that is no ordinary candy...that is a magical confection!
    Ivy: Aha! I knew it!
    Ruler: Knew what?
    Ivy: That candy amulet was made by a witch!

    Goal 5:
    Thurston: My liege, do you hear that?
    Ruler: I do, Thurston... It sounds like...crying?
    Thurston: Yes, my liege, I do believe that is the sound of crying children. It's getting closer...look, my liege! Children approach.
    Ruler: Oh no...are you all right?
    Crying Children: WAAAAAAAAAAH!! No we're not all right! Please...you have to help us. We're scared and we're alone and we're in trouble!!
    Ruler: We'll help you, don't worry. Tell us what's wrong.
    Crying Children: It's...it's...the witch!

    Goal 6:
    Crying Children: It's...the...with... *sniffle* She lives... in a candy home. It's all made of candy. But it's a trick! She uses it to lure poor, unsuspecting kids me and Gretel. We were lost... *sniffle* we were all alone on the island... We were just so hungry when we saw that candy house... we couldn't help it... I know it's bad! We did a bad thing! WAAAAAAH!
    Ruler: It's all right, kids, don't worry. you were hungry, it was a mistake. What happened next?
    Crying Children: The witch nearly captured us with a spell. She had a cage waiting! She said she was going to season us up and cook us alive! We ran away as fast as we could. That's how we ended up here... but that evil witch wasn't done with us yet. She sent her troll henchman to try and capture us. She still wants to eat us! Please... please! Can you keep us safe?

    Goal 7:
    Thurston: Hansel and Gretel are safe back with Ivy, my liege. I can't believe someone would just attack those poor children.
    Ruler: We've met our fair share of evil witches, but I don't think any of them have tried to eat any children before!
    Thurston: We've got to keep the children safe. It's time for a witch hunt!

    Goal 8:
    Spun Sugar Princess: Who goes there? Stand back! I'm not afraid to defend myself. I *am* a witch, after all.
    Thurston: She admits it, my liege! She is a witch! We must attack at once!

    Goal 9:
    Spun Sugar Princess: Now, who are you and what's all this about a child-eating witch?
    Ruler: Yes, well... two children were attacked by a witch out here on the island.
    Spun Sugar Princess: It's simply not me. I find children have a sesame flavor that I do not appreciate. Kidding! Only a small joke, my apologies. No, I have no interest in being around children, not even for the time it would take to cook and prepare one! I think you may have the wrong witch. you were sent here looking for me?
    Ruler: Well, the children sent us in this direction. They said a witch in a candy home had attacked them.
    Spun Sugar Princess: Ahhh, I see. I think you will find there are many more candy homes for you on the island. Perhaps the evil witch you seek is within one of them.
    Ruler: We'll have to go talk to Hansel and Gretel again and sort this out.
    Spun Sugar Princess: Before you go, why don't you come inside my cottage. I've got something you're going to want to see, oh Child-ruler of the realm.

    Ivy: Oh really?
    Ruler: Yeah! She knows a lot about manipulating sugar. I'll take Hansel and Gretel to the Tavern and talk to them more about their attacker, and you can go and see Zelda. I think you two might have a lot to talk about.

    Hansel and Gretel: So you didn't find the witch?
    Ruler: No, I'm sorry Hansel and Gretel. But we're not stopping now. We're going to keep looking until we find her and stop her. We'll keep you safe, don't worry.
    Hansel and Gretel: All... all right, ruler... *sniffle*
    Ruler: Is there anything more you can tell us about the witch?
    Hansel and Gretel: I... I don't know, actually. I don't remember. Everything is all jumbled up in my brain. I was so scared. it was for sure a magical witch. She put a spell on us. Yeah, and she lived in a candy home. It was so delicious. We're sorry we don't remember more. We're kind of traumatized over here!

    Goal 4:
    Hansel and Gretel: WAAAAAH! See! We told you! That evil witch is going to send her henchman trolls to follow us non-stop! There's no where we'll ever be safe... we should just her eat us!
    Ruler: Don't say that, you two. It's going to be alright. We're going to find the witch and we'll stop her from hurting you. How can we know you're going to keep us safe?
    Hansel and Gretel: i'm the ruler of this realm, and we have faced magical foes like this before. I'm sure we'll have no problem doing it again.

    Goal 5:
    Hansel and Gretel: you're a ruler but you're just a kid... like us!
    Ruler: Well... sort of. I'm definitely younger than most of the people in this realm.
    Hansel and Gretel: But you're in charge? You control everything?
    Ruler: Well no, not really. I'm responsible for keeping the realm going, I'm responsible for solving its problems, I'm the one who people come to when they need help.
    Hansel and Gretel: And you get to tell them what to do?
    Ruler: No, not really. That's not what being a ruler is about.
    Hansel and Gretel: Are you sure? If I was the ruler, I'd tell everyone what to do.

    Goal 6:
    Ivy: Ruler, have you spent much time with Hansel and Gretel?
    Ruler: A bit. Why, Ivy?
    Ivy: It just seems as if they don't like me.
    Ruler: Well... that may be because you're a witch.
    Ivy: Oh! I didn't even think about that. Those poor little ones! I'm gong to help you all hunt down that evil witch. She's giving the rest of us a bad name!

    Goal 7:
    Thurston: Ivy said to hold the lantern up, my liege?
    Ruler: yes, she said we would see the way clearly.
    Thurston: I've been holding it up for quite some time. my arms are a bit sore already, my liege. I'm afraid there's been no hint of light within. Nothing to guide the way.
    Ruler: Hmm.. you haven't noticed anything at all?
    Thurston: Nothing I can see.. There is one thing, my liege.
    Ruler: What is it?
    Thurston: I can smell something.
    Ruler: You smell something?
    Thurston: Yes, my liege. I smell a strong smell. It's rich... like caramel and apples.
    Ruler: Can you tell where it's coming from?
    Thurston: *Sniff, sniff.* I... I think I can, my liege!

    Goal 8:
    Ruler: This is incredible! Look at that.
    Thurston: This castle is made of caramel, my liege. The sun shines upon it but it does not melt!
    Ruler: There must be a powerful magic working here.
    Thurston: Be cautious, my liege. There may be a child-eating witch on the loose!

    Goal 9:
    Contessa: Hiiiiii-yah! *SLAM*
    Ruler: Whoa!
    Contessa: I don't take kindly to trespassers. You'd better dodge or fight back, Child!

    Goal 10:
    Contessa: You're a worthy opponent, Child! You really have come quite a long way.
    Ruler: It seems like every witch on the island knows me.
    Contessa: That's because every witch on the island *does* know you. Now, what brought you to challenge me at my own front door?
    Ruler: A witch attacked two children in our realm... a witch with a candy home. They said the witch threatened to eat them. She really scared them.
    Contessa: That does sound rather scary. So now you are harassing all the witches of the island?
    Ruler: We're sorry if we bothered you. We didn't mean to. We just wanted to make sure the children were safe.
    Contessa: I understand that completely... the children must be kept safe. While I may be the wrong witch, I think destiny brought you here. Let us not waste this chance meeting on accusations and wild theories. Come inside, child. Come into my castle and learn a spell. It might a challenge, but the effort makes it taste just a bit more sweet!
