Bigger is Better Event Timer differ

Another something a little wacky with the event: the timer on the bottom left of my screen says there are 23 days 18 hours left in the event. The event screen (gotten to by tapping in the event location) says 16 days 18 hours left. Which one is correct?

Both timers say 16 days 17 hours for me.

The event timer of 16 days is correct - event is from 8/18 2:00 pm - 9/4 2:00 pm.

You should be seeing 16 days in both announcement popup and event screen. Please force shut your game and check again.

Yes, both my counters show the correct time now. Though I REALLY wish the longer one had been the correct time since, unlike the last event, only 2 businesses at a time can (H.I.) possibly grant us event currency.
