Garden Party Tea Kettle- 2 August 2016

Much like Grandpa's event where he offered a limited time Marshmallow Oven, Grandma Marie is back with a new permanent appliance as well, but it is only available to buy for a limited time at a price of three silver keys. This appliance, while it looks the same as one from another event, is brand new and is not the same as the Tea Kettle. Thus, you cannot use the Tea Kettle in place of the Garden Party Tea Kettle.

Isn't this the same as the garden tea kettle I got from a previous event of 'Grandma's'? I have one just like it in my inventory.

Um where is the kettle that i already bought and put into my storage? If that box was supposed to be a part-time rubbish bin when were we notified?

So if it the same kettle, can't I pull it out of inventory & use that one for this Series of Grandma's tasks rather than buy another one?

Got it and got screenshots! I've only unlocked the Earl Grey and French Lavender Macarons though. Looking at the recipes, I think this machine is worth a lot more than the Marshmallow machine. It requires a lot less butter for its recipes.

    Cost: comes with the kettle

Thank you ladyknightkelandry and oo56 for the info! Adding it straightaway!

@luvolis and Perry9877, much like the marshmallow oven and the marshmallow toaster, this appliance is not the same as the one from the goals, the team just borrowed the image of that one to use as this new appliance. Therefore, you can't use the one that you already own as that is now just a decoration and is in the decoration tab.

Grrr, so let me see if I have this right. For each quest you buy appliances (I know I bought 3 for the Summer Firework Event). When the event is over the magical little elves from S8 come out and change our appliances into decorations? Now we are supposed to trust them to buy our "forever" appliances from them? I think it is just S8's latest way to part us from our our money and to try and keep us attached. I still do not feel all in on this game. I have no neighbours, per se. I would love to see how others have decorated their bakeries. Since I do not feel attached, I would not feel bad if I stopped playing at this point. S8 has put out several games the last few years that they have easily abandoned (Fairy Tale Wonderland, anyone?). I would not be surprised to see if this game gets abandoned also.
