Need help with ice age

I am in a huge predicament. I have 2 ice age dragons breeding and need to be hatched. But.....there is an egg on the nest that needs to be heated up......and there is nobody in the habitat to produce the materials needed to warm the egg. I have tried to breed another ice age dragon on the other side ,but can't get one, I tried about 50 times. I'm thinking that you can't one once you opened up the other side, in which case I'm screwed, unless I spend 140 gems which isn't going to happen. Any thoughts?
