Eggs in mining(ends August 26)

I'm curious if the 'near' and 'very close' clues help to locate the eggs or just for Overgrowth parts. Has anyone that found an egg yet let me know? Thanks

Quite a few people posted in the overgrowth thread. Myself found scarab just a bit after the mine opened again for overgrowth. I got scarab instead of a piece to craft with.

It's been available since overgrowth was put in the mine.

If it's been available since the beginning of the overgrowth mining..... Why would we just now get the pop-up?? Just curious what reason S8 would have to NOT inform players. Doesn't make sense.
