I made a similar mistake- I spent 10 silver keys about 2 hours ago on the donut decor since it had become limited time. Oh, how I wish I had just waited a few more hours! Hopefully they give you forever to learn the recipes and just only 28 days to unlock the oven. Even so, it could take 3 days to get 3 silver keys or it could take much longer than 30... I wish you luck and hopefully you can get it in time!

Seems to be the case. No other goals regarding the oven in the book and no timers anywhere that I can see. I think as long as you get the oven within the time you're good.

Here are the learned recipe stats for the other 5 s'more recipes (I had a lot of keys saved up). Each one earns 10-20 coins a plate

It's strange, but after you buy one oven, you can buy more ovens at 3 silver keys each. The ovens and decos all have a timer on them. I suspect the whole thing is a timed event. That is, you get 27 days to cook the recipes as many times as you can, then after 27 days, poof! They'll be gone and ovens into storage

Can a mod confirm if this is the case please? Do we get forever to cook the recipes, or only 27 days?

it's the first time so quick to finish the event, and i bought 3 ovens. Sadly that the upload pics all failed. my guess that the timer in the shop means you can buy the oven and decos in the event, only in this 27 days. over the event, you will lose the opportunity. Well it's just my guess, and need someone to confirm it ,or i just waste 9 silver keys for the oven and recipes.

If this is the case, it makes more sense to spend keys in ovens, not recipes. That is, use multiple ovens for one (or maybe two) recipes and just cook as many as you can. At 10 coins per plate they're a good deal!

The original pop-up said permanent or forever....I forget which and I didn't take a picture. No timers anywhere except on the oven purchase itself so the recipes should stay. Guess it's like any other appliance, you can have more than one.

Yes I do believe she has all the ingredients unlocked.

I believe the recipe are permanent as there's no time icon on them.

I guess this is a (hopefully) temporary attempt to help us keep the recipe in goal, which I like. But it brings up more space issue since oven still cannot be put into storage (which I honestly don't know why they won't let us do it like in BS )
