I'm one of those people, yes.Unlike Kennedward below, my Lightning has been a blessing, I'll admit. But there are other pink/yellows you can obtain.
I'm surprised to hear that. Lightning has been fantastic for me and is still only level 11. Mind you, I am very careful with my opponent choices, as I am with all my team.
I guess everyone's luck is different in the battle arena

I hear you on the Mistmoth and Dreamweaver, those are nice too. I think I bred like 5 Mistmoths in the last 7 months, lol.

Turtle (got a thing for turtles)
Ripscale (what I think of when thinking of european story dragon)
Ruby (first gemstone i got when crafting became available for d.r.o.i.d.)
Celestial (who doesnt like maleficent)
Big bad (reference + kz theater in WoW)
Firestorm (deathwing)
Sugar skull/siamese (really but never got and never will, bit both awesome)

I think it's quite obvious that I like the design of the younger dragons even though I have plenty of epics to choose from.

What was the opponent?
I got both Sugar Skull and Siamese. It took many tries with Diamond/Lord of Light for Siamese and Diamond/Pirate for Sugar Skull (also Diamond/Dame of Darkness would work). Good luck if you're trying to get them.
I forgot already lol but it wasn't any strong type like the Champions or anything, it was during a tournament too, where I usually win without any problems

I was interested in the typing. As you probably know, I'm very into the typing when it comes to the Arena. Never mind, I figured you probably wouldn't recall - LOL - I can't remember yesterday's battles!
