My quest numbers are off. They assumed needing to craft 2 skyvines rather than just 1 skyvine. (Early information indicated we needed to craft a skyvine in Chapter 7 rather than another Skyvine Sprout.) I think total quests are closer to 15 rather than the 20+ I had originally miscalculated. Still a lot more than required as Acts in the Chapters. Goog thing they are not too long in time.Originally Posted by jacksusa
Ugh, I'm on the highest level, thought I'd be finishing Chapter 7 just as midnight struck here in California. I'd planned ahead by reading the first post, and started crafting my Skyvine a bit before 9pm.
But alas, when I got to the last act (Act 6,) it said to make a Skyvine Sprout, not a Skyvine (as the first post showed.) Oh no! Did this happen to anyone else? Anybody else make a Skyvine by mistake (too early?)
It wouldn't be such a big deal--just a few hours lost--if each Skyvine didn't require 4 Sprouts to craft! So now I have to craft the Skyvine Sprout I actually need to finish Chpt 7, followed by another 4 of them for another Skyvine I have to make for Chapter 9. What a bummer!
Well, lesson learned, I guess. I won't be pre-crafting items anymore, especially those made from other crafted items!
But I'm still annoyed at having "wasted" all those Skyvine Sprouts I had crafted ahead of time for the (what turned out to be unnecessary) Skyvine...
Oh wow, I see that the first post has been corrected. Darn it! Wish I'd seen that before I wasted all those crafts & materials...
The Skyvine is not wasted as it will be accepted in Ch9.2. You will just have excess Sky Sprouts. Those who started immediately all faced this not Skyvine but Sky Sprout requirement of Ch7.6.
Two chapters to go. With so much going on in real life, I will be glad when this is complete! Unless the next Tales dragons are stunning like Supreme, I might have to take a break - just too much going on. But I enjoy Tales!

Just read pages 21,22 where a few of us early finishers, posted about the earlier Skyvine being accepted in Ch9.2.
