For trade with the baron, does it have to be in the trading center? Or does the one (10 prime cut, 10 truffle, 20 bacon) in the kitchen count as well?

I just upgraded my 2nd tree to level 4. No increse in size from 4 to 5.



Left tree - Level 4
Right tree - Level 5

No difference in appearance from 4 to 5 either.
