The barracks is one of the best investments you can make at an early stage. It will definitely pay off to buy the barracks if you hadn't yet.

Adventures bring back gems so it pays itself off quickly

I don't even send adventures everyday, so for me It's definitely not worth it, as in my case it would probably just sit there useless. If you, on the other hand, do the adventures every day and still have some materials to spare, it would be a great investment

I finally got the barracks. Definitely worth it at the sale price to be able to have two adventures out at the same time.

Yeah i agree here as well, Barracks and the Wizard School are the 2 buildings worth investing in for me.
