Is 9.99 for 250 gems a good deal or regular place?

I?m nearly positive that when they offer Gifts with gem purchases, the gems are listed at normal price. At least, this is the trend I?ve noticed so unless it?s a gift I really want I wait for a regular gem sale to make my purchase.

I think that's normal price too. I think a gem sale is 6.99 for 250 gems. Lower than that is a really, really good sale.

Looks like Ivy’s Bakery, a soup kitchen (an event building that drops food items), monster lair (event building - always spawns a monster if you have none on the board), aquamarine alicorn, two crabs in colours we haven’t seen before - presume walkers, and a Phoenix. More exciting is the change to the exchange - half the time and double the trade tickets

I just had to log in and say how utterly ridiculous I think having the Golden Throne on sale is. Perhaps at any other time it might seem like a semi-decent thing to spend 30 gems on (I guess) but in the midst of the Black Friday sale? On actual Cyber Monday? Totally ridiculous!

I was fully expecting to have something totally amazing that would make us want to toss out hundreds of gems. Opportunity missed! Things like this make me think they really need to get a new marketing specialist or spend a little time reading through the forum to see what the majority of players want and would shell out for.
