Restaurant Update: May 11 2016

Oh dear I'm afraid I'm not liking this update at all. Perhaps it's because of the preview, but everything looks very closed off and monochromatic. I think there's a carved bear in one of the boxes that might go well with the bears in the preview, but I would have liked something fresher and outdoorsy for May I am interested to see the tree that was cut off in the left of the preview, though.

Fingers crossed that the LTO or box sale that might come this week is more redeeming than the update is looking to be (and doubly crossed for the May Basket or Jazz Band!)

To the people wanting new recipes with this update: what could you really expect with an update centered around wood? Wood chips and sawdust? Bleh!

If so, I could create an indoor cabin theme with 'wooded area' for the outsides.

I thought the tables and chairs would be nice with the summer solstice things from last year. Disappointed the tables aren't for coins.

The tree looks odd to me. Might work with faeries. Thinking about that.

No animals for my restaurant. If this were Concession Story, I would go nuts running the food stands at the park. ;-)

Sock Hop Crate on sale for half off, am I just imagining it or is there a picture of all the prizes floating around somewhere? I don't see it in the master box list thread. Would be nice to have in this thread if anyone knows a link?

I like the spring glass flooring, but that's it. I'm not even liking the tables or chairs - well, no, the nature's Dream Chair is lovely with, I'm sure, the right table, but I don't think it's appropriate for the Nature's Dream Table.
