I finished 18th. Was aiming for 19th (the 20th has my respect with 1834 points!) but I got just points from the wheel today ending up at 3623 points.

Wowzah! I really hope they were speed breeding for other reasons and not just bragging rights. That's a ridiculous amount of gold spent to win a dragon. The milestone things were awesome too. And well worth the gold I spend it itself. Winning the mama drahon was just a bonus. Considering that habitat would have cost about 200 gold maybe.

So the previous third boosted into first place (30k) at the last minute. Rest 29k,28k,16k for 2nd,3rd and 4th. I finished 9th where I had been all along. Got Mother. And the next quest already started!!!
I have 2 dens,3 nests Arctic Isles. I do not pay to win. These events,pitting players against each other, are awful.
Feel bad for 3rd for having spent all that money and then loosing Mama ....nah,not really

Well the game completely screwed me over and didn't count my last 300 points in the final minute. ( game conveniently desynced) got unfairly knocked down to third with two dragons on nest that I definitely hatched. Guess it's game over for me, tired of this game continuously screwing me over. Glad I never spent a cent on this garbage

Went to bed as soon as this event ended, and was surprised to be greeted with a world event this morning. Had wanted to take a couple of days off playing to relax a bit from all the hard work put into this event but guess not. It's time to start a-planting again...lol

Happy to report that I actually got to Mother! Yes I spent some gold for planned 1.5x boosts. Spent a total of 46 gold. Totally worth it for a beautiful habitat and 3 pretty dragons that I haven't owned yet! I was very close to getting Mama actually, being the 2nd place for the last minutes, even seconds. But I know I will not stand a chance because I have noted that the eventual 2nd place was determined to win and willing to spend gold. He/she sped breed in the last few seconds. I knew because I checked the island just to see my chances of winning. This player actually bought a long-hour common egg to place in the nest in the last hours of the event. That's at least 200 some gold there with speeding. Ah well, I'm cheapskate and will not spend more gold than necessary, ie.to win Mother. Never thought I'd get Mama anyway. I'd rather save and spend my gold for dragon tales or for my next gold-giving dragon.
