might consider spending gold to boost as with few hours left, i am still about 500 pts short from getting Duchess. (couldn't manage to breed one).
with no luck in breeding (fruitful, corals on my island during free boosted weekend), might need to spend gold just hope i have enough to get Duchess.
I've always been against the leaderboard for various reasons, but had a sad realization today...for a game that is supposed to be for EVERYONE, how is say a 10 year old to compete & enjoy against adults that can spend the kind of real money these kids can't. Just a thought. 🤔

The leader on my board has nearly 23 000 points now with the next 4 players in the 12 000 - 20 000 range and someone with over 8000 points ranked 8th is using the gold boost right now! Wow!
Meanwhile I'm at 3540 points and 18th. Hoping to finish 19th.
Edit: And now there are 4 people boosting! Too bad I'm at work when this ends so I can't watch the show during the final minutes.

In my inactive account I am in 1st place with 504 points!!! In my other 2 accounts I have just got the duchess dragon and am in 4th place in 1 account and 14th place in the other. Weird how the same number of points makes such a difference to where you are placed depending on your group.
My group right now:
1st place has 21k, 2nd place has 9k, 3rd has 7k, and everyone from 4th to last have around 3k to 2k
Seems pretty much settled in my group, unless someone decides to spend money at the last hour or so, otherwise the player with 21k points will win without competition

On my baby account I am so close to getting Duchess but with so little time left and me not willing to spend gold, i don't think i'll make it. I would have got her though if I had spun any points yesterday instead of roses after roses
I don't think I'm going to make it to 4,400 for Mother...currently I have 3,956 with no boosts and only 3 hours to go. Oh well, glad I got Duchess. Congrats to all who have been successful in this event.
