Ways to reduce the memory limitation on old devices:
1) Remove all walker
2) Remove all decoration (store or chop)
3) Limit items on the board from the same family, ie. all chickens the same
4) Spread the items as much as you can
5) Limit the number of buildings or items to those needed for your current goals/events
6) limit the size of the realm (don't open too many plots)
I tried it with this account (level 50), it is not pretty to see, but I can load it on a iPhone 4 (takes 10 min). Limit playable if you are in no rush.

Huh?!? Isn't the Royal exchange supposed to be 1/2 time? I just started a windchaser permit and the exchange is showing 6 hours vs 3 hours? 😡

Hi I am having trouble with mermaid scales. The drop rate is very very low

If you're a brand new player with a new kingdom, then mermaid scales can be hard to come by. Patience and perseverance are key at the beginning of the game. Have a look through the list and see if you have any of these items.
I have already unlocked shard 3 from tablet of taburnum. Still not getting enough scales to drop. Have been facing this problem since a long time. Wonder what the problem is.
I have been playing this game since august.
Save up your gems and get a mermaid pond. It made a huge difference for me. I now have 5 other excellent mermaid scale droppers from various storylines, events, and the Baron's Tent, and am still happy with the purchase. You'll need more and more as the game goes on.
