What you need to try and do today.
The event is starting in 14 and 1/2 hours
It sounds like we are going to be upgrading a spring meadow!
This likely means upgrade parts will come from plane deliveries.
Have all your planes ready to fly when the event starts.
If you can and you have space in your barn I try and store eight of each item.
I do not try and craft items for plane deliveries because I want to upgrade whatever we are upgrading ASAP
If I know I can't find an item needed for a delivery in a few minutes from a neighbours store I delete that delivery and wait for it to refresh.
You are going to have to send a ton of deliveries to get the upgrade parts you need and these parts are likely going to be stored in our barns.
Remember when upgrading if it is a three hour collection the timer will likely reset when you upgrade so check how long to your next collection because you might want to wait to upgrade until after you collect your flowers.

Yeah. I know we've just finished an event and some may be unhappy but I can only comment for myself that I enjoy the events.

Thank you judyandthecat for keeping us appraised of upcoming events so we can do some preparation.

Let the fun begin on March 31.

I'm hesitant to speculate, but since it's a "World Event", I'd guess that this is going to be a community event? Hopefully, if it involves upgrading something, we will be able to sell extra parts to each other, as we could do during the Holiday Harvest event.

Yay! I'm so pleased we've got a new upcoming event!!

I personally get bored of the game without events, so for me this is a bonus (I know some people will be rocking in a corner wanting time to recuperate

And the baby animals look sooooo cute!! I want to pick them up and hug them tight and put bows in their fur ....

I don't tend to do well with world events, and I probably fail more farm events than I succeed, so time will tell if I win the main prize. Good luck to everyone!!

Ps, thank you Judy for setting up and looking after this thread x

For those of us who have not done a "World Event" before, can someone tell me what that might mean? I know we won't really know for a couple of days.

World Events are events that puts forward 4-5 prizes for us to earn through our own individual efforts, and 3 prizes that are only acquired through the combined efforts of all the players of Farm Story 2 around the world.

As an example, during the Holiday Harvest World Event this past December, we earned 5 different prizes (including a baby reindeer) by collecting presents (through deliveries, from special trees we bought, etc.). Then, once we collected enough presents, we qualified to also receive the community prizes IF the entire Farm Story 2 community collected enough presents. Individually, 3000 presents earned us all the prizes. Collectively, it required 400,000,000 presents to get the three community prizes.

If this World Event follows this same pattern, that is what you have to look forward to. For more information, you can check the Game Guides sub-forum for more information about past World Events.

Thanks PookieBear...that sounds like fun all working together. And now I know where that cute reindeer I keep seeing came from.
