    Lightbulb BS2: Expansion

    - When you start, your Bakery has 64 squares Space (8x8 squares Size).

    - Maximum available Space of your Bakery is 400 squares (20x20 squares Size, Expansion #24).
    ... See more information under spoiler:
    Spoiler: show
    - Each time you expand - you get space of 1 square width added to the Right or Left Side of your Bakery.

    - Each expansion (except first one) requires exact quantity of coins and spare parts that you can get only from Liam (Thank You Notes) and To-Go Orders (Blueprints and Bricks). These quantities progressively increase from one Expansion to next one, as well as the time of Expansion.

    - If you miss spare parts and don't wanna wait to get them, you can by them at the rate 8 Gems for 1 Part.

    - If you want and have a possibility to expand beforehand, you can do it. It will not affect your coming Goals to Expand: the one you've made will count toward it as soon as the respective Goal pops up.

    - However, plan your investments thoroughly: since Expansions are very expensive and (at this stage of game development) don't lock ant key elements of the game, you may want to spend your coins for something more useful.

    Lightbulb BS2: Special Visitors & DROPS

    Sources of Drops
    Liam (visits every 2hrs from Level 3)
    Grocers (see below)
    To-Go Orders
    Secret Specials
    Goals
    Smoothie Mixer & Cupcake Oven
    FaceBook Friends
    Every once in a while, you'll get a special visitor in your Bakery.
    As they sit down to eat, they'll have a thought bubble over their head. Tap it and they'll give you a gift! Certain visitors leave certain gifts.
    Grocers will start to visit your Bakery as soon as respective Shop becomes available:
    • Jenny - visits every 3hrs (from Level 3);
    • Charlotte - every 5h30m (from Level 3);
    • Jack - every 8hrs (from Level 10);
    • Marco - every 20hrs (from Level 22);
    • Michelle - every 6h30m (from Level 39).
    However, they start to drop each Ingredient several Levels later than it becomes available (check blue figures under spoiler with text version of Levelling Up Guide or respective Ingredients Chart).
    Grocers drop Ingredients or Coins randomly.

    Lightbulb BS2: Quick Serves, Friends & Neighbors

    COMMUNITY FEATURE (Neighbors)

    Coming soon:

    Spoiler: show
    FACEBOOK FRIENDS

    Invite them to play in order to be able to get Quick Serves!

    Read more about How It Works - under spoiler:
    Spoiler: show
    If your friends do not play this Game, you can search in FaceBook groups like "Bakery Story 2 Neighbors" and invite people who do play to be your FaceBook friends.
    You can check active Friends by tapping your golden envelope: if some friend does not have level star next to his name, it means he does not play Bakery Story 2.

    It could be that friends you just added in FaceBook, are not shown in your golden envelope. In this case, log out from FaceBook using Settings button in Game, and then log back in - it will help.

    "Search Facebook Friends" option currently does not work properly. The Game is automatically offering you to send requests to some people from your friends list.

    You cannot just send Quick Serves directly to friends like in other Storm8 games when you choose gifts and send them to people. In Bakery Story 2, you can do it only by confirming their requests.

    Your golden envelope can contain 3 types of messages:
    1. Quick Serves ("Help Friends"): you can see there people who sent you requests for help;
    2. Quick Serves ("Accept & Send"): you can see there people who confirmed your request for help;
    3. Select Friends ("Send Requests"): you can see there people who did not yet confirmed your previous request or to whom you have not yet sent the request for help today.

    See also: Switching between FB accounts.
    QUICK SERVES (QS)

    The quantity of Quick Serves you can keep is limited to 20.

    Read more about How It Works - under spoiler:
    Spoiler: show
    If your golden envelope has red mark on it, it could mean you received some more QS from friends.
    Make sure you used some quantity of QS you already have - before you open envelope and accept friends help, otherwise you cannot accept QS over cap (20 max).

    Using Quick Serves, you can:
    • instantly serve food from appliances to counters. QS quantity is being decreased +/- proportionally to cooking time left:
      - FREE serving for any dish if less than 30 seconds left to cook;
      - 1QS to serve any dish if upto 2hrs left;
      - Recipe for 4hrs requires 2QS (1QS when 3hrs left);
      - Recipes for 8hrs require 2QS (1QS when 4hrs left);
      - Recipe for 20hrs requires 3QS to be served instantly (13hrs left: 2QS, 7hrs left: 1QS).
    • instantly sell out the food from counters. Exchange rate in this case is 1QS for 200 plates, i.e.:
      - if you counter holds 1 to 199 plates - it will cost you 1QS to sell the food out of it instantly;
      - if 200 to 399 plates - 2QS, etc...

    Quick Serves & FB Friends (info provided by Kooky Panda):
    • How many can we receive per day?
      - There is no limit as long as you are not at the max cap of 20.
    • How many can we send out per day? (I have gotten a message that I have sent out my max for the day)
      - There should be no limit on how many you can send.
    • When someone request one from you, do you always get one back? If not when do you get one back and when do not get one back?
      - You can only receive one quick serve per friend per day [...] If you request one, you only get one back if your friend accepts your request. Your friend could not then send a second one to you.
    • If you get the notification that you have sent out the max, it may be because you've already sent/requested from that friend or friends for that day.

    Lightbulb BS2: To-Go Orders

    TO-GO ORDERS CONCEPT & REQUIREMENTS
    Spoiler: show
    To-Go Orders is a system unlocked at Level 7 and rewarding you with Spare Parts, Quick Serves, Gems and Coins.
    Spoiler: show
    You don't need anything to unlock To-Go Stand: it becomes functional instantly when you reach Level 7.
    You don't need anything to unlock Slots in To-Go Stand: you get 2 Slots for free at Level 7, and the 3rd Slot unlocks instantly when you reach Level 10.
    Each Slot includes 1 to 4 Recipes, depending on your Level and Recipe's Difficulty.
    You can see this mark on Recipes in your Appliances Menus, and on top of your Appliances with food ready to serve. It means that these dishes are required for you current To-Go Orders.
    TO-GO ORDERS DELIVERY or REPLACEMENT
    Spoiler: show
    You have to serve the required Recipe from Appliance to Counter for it to be counted towards To-Go Order.
    Each Slot can be delivered separately, but you have to serve all the Recipes listed in this Slot to be able to deliver it.
    Each Slot will take randomly 15% to 35% of what you served, and the rest will go to your counters, which means that if the Slots share the same Recipe - one serving counts towards all Slots: no need to cook twice!
    When you deliver a Slot, it will take 4hrs for the Slot to be renewed / new To-Go Order to come.
    It can seem that the Reward didn't count toward your coins amount / pantry / etc., because the rewards are actually collected before "Collect" button appears:
    1. First, you tap "Deliver" button.
    2. Second, Reward is counted toward your amounts.
    3. Third, you tap "Collect" button.
    If you cannot or do not want to deliver a Slot for some reason, do not hurry to tap the "Finish" button that will take your Gems away! There is a small grey "Replace" button to the left of it tapping which you will delete the current Order, and it will take 10mins refresh time for a new Order to come:
    Spoiler: show
    TO-GO ORDERS REWARDS
    Each To-Go Order you delivered will reward you randomly with one Spare Part, one Quick Serve, one Gem or with certain amount of Coins. Amount of Coins you receive for delivery of To-Go Orders depends on your Level. (See details under spoiler)
    Spoiler: show

    Lightbulb BS2: Mastery

    HOW DOES MASTERY WORK
    Mastery is a system unlocked at Level 12 and rewarding you for serving food.
    There are 3 levels of mastery and there are specific rewards for them. For regular recipes the rewards are:
    1. Novice (Bronze) gets coins one-off reward unique to each recipe;
    2. Artisan (Silver) gives you additional 5% to servings and coins earned for this recipe from now on;
    3. Master (Gold) decreases cooking time of this recipe by 10% from now on.
    You gain "mastery points" by serving food. Every time a Recipe is served, it contributes one mastery point towards that Recipe.
    In the appliance menus, you can see how many mastery points are needed to advance to the next level (there is a scale under "Bake" button showing which level of mastery you are currently aiming at, how many servings you need to get there, and how many servings you've already made).
    For regular recipes, next mastery level requires twice more servings than previous one (except Welcome Tart used for educational goals).
    You can check the Mastery rewards for each recipe by tapping small "Information" button to the left of mastery scale of recipe.
    The pictures under spoiler show the rewards for levelling through the mastery of the Welcome Tart, and the results of mastering this recipe.
    Spoiler: show
    You can find the requirements and results of Mastery for all recipes under spoilers in respective CookBooks.
    There is NO Mastery System for Home-Made Ingredients, Fruit Trees, Daily Bread, and Furniture Supplies.
