Kitty is mine for those players that don't know the Easter kitty for sale is from Easter event 2014 and I did not win her in the random luck collections event!

I know I wish they would let me sell the chickens with their habitats wasting 27 squares too I could buy eggs from the market!

I'm sorry to say this, but judging from the announcement of this event, the odds are good that it will be A collection event. Whether it is collecting items to contribute to community prizes, or collecting eggs like in previous years to turn in collections, is unknown. But the appearance of 3 different types of eggs in the picture suggests that the latter is the most likely event this time around.

I could be wrong, though, so don't place any faith in what I say.

I got the collection impression as well. I am still saddened by not having the the sand turtle from last summer. Oh well, all I can do is hope.
