Won't connect or open

Hi all,
I'm trying to open fantasy forest but for some reason it won't connect or open. I'm playing on my iPad and I'm receiving notifications and my internet is okay. Has anyone got any ideas on what I could do to open the game. I'm on the final act of the storybook challenge and really need to finish before the time expires. Any ideas would appreciated.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the game to see if this corrects the issue.
