Timer starts after midnight PST (S8 time) so whichever day you start the book you will only get the hours left in the first day until midnight pst. Days are measured from midnight to midnight PST and not based by the time the individual starts the quest.

So start it at the time of the update (noon pst) and you only have 12 hours in your first day of questing.

Last time I started it at 8pm pst, , so only had 4 hours in my first day.

Good if you want to zip through in nine and a half days, bad if you are low level and need every minute. I plan to start mine in what is now 9.5 hrs time, to maximise the full day 1.

They started it at 3pm EST in my world. I finished those pretty quick. So why is my timer next chapter start is like 8 hours at last check. ??

Yes, but the same is true for stables, right? And we can get hay from those, apparently...

I've read thru this thread and the order of things is already getting confusing and convoluted, lol.

Have I gotten this right so far?? (And maybe it will help SpiritWind, too)
And each chapter has a day to complete, right?


Chapter 1 ~
Goal 1: visit cottage x10
Goal 2: visit kingdoms x10 (but not nbrs)
Goal 3: tend horses x10

Chapter 2 ~
Goal 1: Collect 10 Fresh Hay {from stables, hatcheries, farmhouses(?) and harvesting wheat(?)}
Goal 2: Place the petting zoo (need any materials or it's pre-built?)
Goal 3: Upgrade zoo (25 wood, 25 stone, 75 Fresh Hay)

Chapter 3 ~
Goal 1: Buy 10 Iceland poppy plants
Goal 2: Collect white petals from 10 plants
Goal 3: Make 10 white dyes. (2 white petals and 2 water...1-hr craft time?)

maybe we can place all our chickens and cows in there, and click once and collect from all of them!!!!!!!!!!!!! space!!!!!!!!!!

Chapter 4

Goal 1: chop 5 trees (dead trees work)
Goal 2: make 5 white planks. (2 white inks and 2 wooden beams - 1 hour)
Goal 3: upgrade zoo to level 2 (requirements are 20 water 10 simple glue and 10 white planks)

I got 3 hays from each stables and hatcheries. Also I got 3 hays from 12 wheats.
