    Question Borina

    I earned Borina and had her out, which was preventing the generation of boars around my kingdom. I put her in storage during the last Monster Hunt Season, but since getting her out again, boars are still turning up even with her on the board.

    Was she a one-time use item?

    No, the dialogue was just for fun. Boarina is decorative only and has no impact on the drop rates whether she's on your board or inventory.
