    The blossoms take 16 gems to speed up in the workshop or you could buy them for 10 gems each when you click on the ridge to upgrade. I might just skip this and buy em haha..

    If u skip u have to make more in the next upgrade anyways, so probably save gems u might need them for a later step.
    Next upgrade takes 15 of them.
