Do we actually CRAFT something in step 4 when we examine the shimmering strands or are we spending 4 hours to just "look" at them in the magic forge but are actually crafting nothing?

sorry, I did the goal backwards so it completed when I collected from the Magic Forge

- only saw the black ribbon telling me that I was maxed on Blythedust.
can only surmise that Blythedust was the item - not how many or if anything else was there too.
did not find a new item in my inventory and I checked all the pages. lol
maybe someone else can let us both know.

the Fadeprint Elixer produces a bottle for your inventory and the inventory card has max of 99.

Just checked my inventory, I have two shimmeringr strands. I only collected from the garden once so it can drop two or the adventure dropped one too I should have paid more attention

Nothing for me either so far except the 1st one. Ok, this is gonna take quite awhile

The back of the Strand card does say they are found around the plume hive so hoping for a drop there later today.

For anyone far enough...do the strands keep dropping from the Magic Garden after completing step 3-the examine one? I'd like to collect as many strands as possible, and so I'm wondering if I need to hold off examining them to collect more. Granted it's hard enough to collect 5 but since I know I have a month, I might hold off. BUT...if they do continue to drop then I don't need to hold off. Thanks for any info.

Watchtowers and spires, do they have to be on the board or do buildings in storage count?
