Cider House, Grapevines and Grapes - Jan 21, 2016

I skipped with gems think to skip cost me 16 gems because I had harvested some grapes.
Well worth it to me beings can't be around every two hours collecting grapes and I now have grape cider making ...

I took this advice and decided to skip through goal 2, but now I don't have enough grapes to make grape cider. Might as well wait through goal 2, since you need 2 purple and 2 green (plus sugar) per cider.

I am only harvesting green grapes. How do I get purple ones?

Mine is the other way. Only purple. 11 purple to 1 green so far

Event looks fun and I really like the idea of winning a permanent grape pergola to grow more grapes. But with the low drop rate of grapes and the 2hr waiting time, not sure if I'll be able to complete all the quests. I'm still stuck at quest #3. And looking at the first post, the quests need more grapes. Oh no...! *sigh*

I wish they had given us more time to complete this whole thing. It's so slow! I don't have enough gems to buy the golden grape vine and at this rate I'm not sure I will be able to complete the whole thing to win the pergola. Can someone clarify please that the grape vines won't work after the task ends. Therefore making the cider maker redundant unless you have a golden vine or the pergola. Kind of sucks if that's right.

I have a funny feeling that I won't have time to complete this challenge either. Maybe I'm being negative (haven't really done the math yet). I'll keep trying though. However I'm led to believe that with one grape every two hours this might be nearly impossible.
