Question Best source of living wood?

BESIDES the Living Tree, that is. I have one Living Tree but can't afford more. I also collect from the Goddess Tree and the Spooky Tree.

I always thought I had tons of living wood until I started doing the Faerie Bulb quest. You need Faerie sap to upgrade the Bulb, and each pot of sap needs 35 living wood to craft! I planted some crabapple trees to chop down, but haven't gotten any living wood from them.

So can anyone suggest what type of tree will give the most living wood?

All trees you grow yourself have the same chance for living wood. The inventory guide has a list of all sources.

As soon as you've unlocked the Blythewood tree, it is abundant in sap and also gives LW occasionally too.

You mentioned the best, but I did the same as you (although I could afford a second tree):
    + Living Tree
    + Goddess Tree
    + Spooky Tree
    + Sawmill
    + Potion Shop (Alchemy)

Cut a lot of trees and convert the wood into living wood, costly but enable to recycle all the wood supply. I have now 70 F-Sap extra supply.

The Fairy Tea Party also drops living wood sometimes.

You can also get living wood as a gift from your neighbors. You just need to let them know to send you that rather than something else. If you have good neighbors it will get you a couple more per day (I know I can gift three neighbors per day, I'm never sure how many gifts you can receive)

Thanks - will start checking the faerie tea party and respite more frequently!

Edited to add: I just went back to check these and - presto! Got living wood from the Faerie Tea Party!
