Lost centurion right after tournament

I lost my centurion dragon right after I won it in the tournament. I took it from storage and set it in the nest. I took a look at the beautiful egg for a few seconds. Then I took a quick look around my island, closed down the game and set my device down. About an hour later I went back to check on things before going to bed and my egg was gone! I emailed Team Lava for support but I haven't heard anything from them in five days. Sort of worrying or wondering if they will ever contact me.
