I'm afraid so. I've tried BS2 for 2 weeks now, I really really really don't like it. I stay with BS and otherwise I quit.

I'm really hoping that the social side comes soon. It a feature that I enjoy in other games and I think it would work well in this one.
I don't mind buying the ingredients though, that doesn't really bother me.
If buying ingredients is the tradeoff for not having food that spoils, then I'll take buying ingredients any day.
