I log in the game and one neighbor gifted me the ribbon. I had no opportunity to ask my neighbors for ribbons. I only have 3 and I used up. I wouldn't request from my 78 neighbors. I wouldn't continue the game as I have zero ribbon.

Every request you accept through gifting will give you 3 Holiday Ribbons each.

i accepted 2 requests since reboot (new day ..), sent out 2 ribbons but only found 3 ribbons in inventory....., not 6. this whole ribbon concept sucks >.< i'll have to hope that 3 of my neighbours will send me ribbons..... to even get 3 per day this way.

Can someone please tell me when sending your three gifts if you collect ribbon first you lose that option to send? I may have misunderstood here.

No, that was only about the first goal about neighbours. A gift sends 3 ribbons, so send away!

Hey guys! Here to clarify the Holiday Ribbons... They come from gift requests, unrelated to the task in the first quest. That task is just a way to quickly get you the first ribbon

Every request you accept through gifting will give you 3 Holiday Ribbons each.

I am in the same boat, not receiving anything for accepting neighbors requests for ribbon, aswell as I never got a chance to send requests since the first goal skipped it when I mistakingly acepted one ribbon before i knew of the event

TL is watching us.. and taking over as well.
i send out requests for another goal (oinment) yesterday, still need 29..
so was not able to ask for ribbons

and now TL has changes my requests into ribbons.. and i do not like that at all.

i want to decide myself which items i ask and when!

this also means i am missing out on 21 ribbons asthose neighbours did send me oinment and won't get a ribbon request from me.. must be another bug.
if not, why bother playing a game if the gamedevelopers overrule our actions

also stuck on my goal for which i need to ask the ointment.. not allowed to make up my mind which item i want to ask from my neighbours. smells like dictatorship?
