Whats the deal with the pop-ups?

I can tolerate having to see the pop-up ads even though its annoying but if youre going to add ads to your products the least you need to do is give the player an out. Twice today the new farm story ad has poped up and there is no way to dismiss it. The only thing you can do it to force close the game and restat it. If it happens again, I will be leaving this game alone for awhile, at least until the game designers figure out that blasting the customers with ads every 15 seconds and not allowing an escape from them doesnt really put the game in a very good light! Nuff said!

As amusing as I found that, it's a way of marketing. If they give you no option to close it, you might be coerced into getting the app.

That aside, you can get out of it by closing out of the mini App Store after opening the ad. It's not that dramatic.
