its random, once I needed 18 throws but also found 6 cabbages and total spent was 12, but on another occasion I had to spend all 25 to get a prize
Just chiming in to add that all I'm getting is recycled cats and dogs too.
Geoffrey twice, the Sphinx cat, frenchie and today Alexander. S8 is making it super easy to save cabbages from the hut. I'm totally over the cats and dogs. Seeing that the skunkupine doesn't look like the one in the tent is a bit of a turn off too.
Add me the list of those wanting different animals, either real or mythical. Enough with the cats, dogs and horses please!

I now have 50 cabbages stored up waiting to use for something other than costumed animals, especially any kind of cats or dogs. I absolutely refuse to run an animal shelter in my place.

Yep, it's a bit of a letdown to finally get the elf skunkupine (yay!) and then see its lil elf costume disappear under his fur once placed (boo!).

well we need new goals to do for Christmas! Im bored sitting here with all maxed items in my invetory! Restaurant Story has new goals why not for Castle Story ?????

How many Christmas horses are you supposed to win?
To my knowledge, there is no set number of appearances for any of the Grand Prizes; they all pop up randomly. Some folks may see the Reindeer Horse appear several times in their tents over this month while others may never see it. G'luck!
