Just saw a popup that all gold dragons are on for I800 gold on Monday (I think) , I closed it too fast. I lost some gold yesterday, so will have to replace some in order to get the four I was planning on unless they are very nice to me lol in which case I will have enough. Granted even if they don't I guess I can use the excessive coins to buy a few habitats since I'm feeding ice age I have to still watch my coins a little. But sitting on about 35 mill right now thanks to the trap.

I believe evolution times and food costs are the most important factors in buying a gold dragon. Even at the 800 gold/dragon price, if you get it up to a 10 it'll pay for itself in less than half a year. I looked in the dragon story wiki to get food amounts and evolving times, so hopefully they're correct. If so, here's the breakdown of each gold dragon:

Goldwing:

Evolving Time: 27 hours

Sterling Silver:
