Can you tell who bought your stuff?

I have a neighbour who consistently buys about five of my things every day but I don't know which neighbour this is so I can return to her store on a regular basis. I see per picture avatar when she buys from me but none of my neighbours have an avatar.

How do you get your avatar into Farm Story, BTW, do you have to hook up to a Facebook account?

The avatars are Facebook profile pictures.
There is no way to tell who purchases your items.

Sometimes you will get a message in your news feed (envelope in the top right hand corner). i don't get one every time, which I find strange. Also I get them though the "notifications" that the game sents out, but again it's very seldom. Both messages will say something like "...,,bought something from you "
