Mine's ice burr-ista (from the 28 Jan update)!
Just done decorating for winter/ Christmas and was beating myself up for not having bought more from that update.

This ice stuff mist have not been available very long. I started playing in Jan 2015 and I don't remember seeing it at all.
It did come and go extremely fast. I, too, am kicking myself for not picking up more items like the door or the burr-ista, but I'd been playing less than a year and didn't have that many gems. I don't tend to use real money until I know I'm sticking with a game, and I wasn't there yet.
I agree, this was one of the best updates this year. I'll put the Bavarian update at the top, because it reminds me of family. Even though it had a gem oven and could have had a lot more cultural stuff (that castle, while well meaning was too "toy-ish") but I loved the pretzel makers, the tables were funny, and the dancing couple was pretty spot on. I'd like to see more cultures like this.
I know many hated it but I loved the baseball goals. Wasn't thrilled with the grand prize, but loved the little memorabilia decor and counters and the recipes. Also liked the artsy goals and the rainbow updates. These are the ones that stick out in my mind...and the daisy one from the spring, even if it was gem heavy.
My favorite so far has been the spice shop update.
The 4x4 display is a unique design - they leave some space between the bot and the far end shelf. For others (e.g. the baker square) there're no such "space".
I loved hot air balloons!
Very pretty & reminds me of Summer evenings with hot air balloons floating in the sky!
