Ok, I'm still persevering at present. I finally got a shelve and caved in and purchased the 2nd with the initial gems given. So now my pantry is 50. However now my problem is - I'm level 13 , almost at 14 and the only thing in my goal book when opened is a message that says "Keep baking customers are looking for tasty treats.! Let's get those ovens going". My question, going for what? Is it pot luck that I bake something that triggers an actual goal, or is it a bug in my game.

I think you haven't got any goals to do at the moment. I think there are goals when you reach level 14, there are definitely goals at level 15.

I am at this stage, but probably won't buy the blender for a few days.
Next up: Learning Turtle Cappuccino for 100,000
Then: Buy second stove for 110,000
After that it'll be between the blender and an expansion that costs 300,000 coin. (I already did the one that costs 150,000)

I've been finding even with no 1-coin dishes on my counters, I only earn about 60,000 coins per 24 hours, so it all takes awhile.
