Purrfect Quest Event

Join us on Nov 5 at 5:30 pm eastern daylight savings time for a purrfect quest event and help to rescue our furry friend! This is for IOS only. This is a goal event. Your farm needs to be level 16 and above to participate.

Need to be at least level 16.
This is for iOS only.
This will be a quest event. You will need to craft new parts to progress in the quest. You will only receive one grand prize.

Preparations Prior to Event
We don't know what the quests are but we can prepare in advance in case we need it for the event.

1. Align your deliveries before event starts. Discard those deliveries which you can't fulfil. Be ready to send off all deliveries if event requires when it starts.
2. Have all your machines working non stop but ensure they are done working when the event starts in case you have to make a special event item.
3. Have all animals (i.e. cows, chickens, pigs, sheep) ready to collect at event time. Likewise for all fruit trees.
4. Stock up some mining tools if you can. Feed your pets for tools. Hopefully we won't need to mine but stock some just in case.
5. Do not gift your neighbours till event starts and see if gifting is one of the goals.
   For a past event, the first task was to gift 3 neighbours and most of us had gifted our neighbours many hours earlier and could not start the event until the next game reset or use gems to skip.
6. Check Stormie shop and see if she sells you an event item.

Getting Started

1. Place the Kitty Tree on your farm.
2. Craft and collect kitty toys to lure the kitten down.
3. Lure the kitten out of the tree to keep it as a pet!

Send your deliveries to get feathers and craft upgrade parts for your Kitty Tree in the studio.



Upgrade Information
You can get feathers from making deliveries and craft the other upgrade parts in the studio. Your kitty climbs down the tree as you upgrade your tree.
There are altogether 5 stages of upgrade.
Stage 1.
To upgrade to Stage 2 requires 2 kitty toys and 1 feather.
To upgrade to Stage 3 requires 3 yarns and 2 feathers.
To upgrade to Stage 4 requires 4 kitty bells and 3 feathers.
To upgrade to Stage 5 requires 6 fishy treats and 4 feathers.
Once you get your kitten, theres no need to keep event items. Sell off to help others.

In going with the story, the Kitten will actually run off at the end of the event and the tree will be empty. Sorry for any confusion! Good lucky trying to rescue her!

You wont be able to keep your kitten in the tree after the event. So if you want to win and keep the kitten, its best that you complete your goal and win the kitten.

Goals
There are 8 goals to complete. You need to complete all goals in order to win the kitty at Goal 8.

GOAL 1


GOAL 2
Get your feathers by making deliveries.
1 kitty toy = 1 feather craft in studio for 30 mins.


GOAL 3


GOAL 4
1 yarn = 1 feather and 3 wool craft in studio for 3hrs.
Note: You won't get to craft this until you reach this goal.


GOAL 5


GOAL 6


GOAL 7
1 Purrfect bait = 1 feather and 2 anchovies craft in bait shop for 15 mins.
Note: Use the green button when in fishing mode to swirl to see your Purrfect bait.


GOAL 8 (last goal)


Event Prize
• Shorthair Kitten
Note: Your prize kitten will be stored in your cellar upon completion of all goals. You need to purchase a cat bungalow for your kitten if you don't already have one.

it says "Kitten", will it be smaller in size than the existing cats? i am wondering if it is the same size as the piggies.

and hopefully the habitat will be the tree since i love the tree design very much (with the paw mark on the bottom) so that the shorthair can play around the tree (climb up or down and scratch the paw spot) just like the ghost circling over his crystal ball decoration (okay okay, i am asking too many, haha, sorry... always dream big) but i think that would be nice!

I think the kitten is a tiny bit smaller than the other cats but you decide from the picture. The kitten stays in the normal cat habitat. The kitty tree remains as it is without the kitty after completion of the goals. The kitten does look soooo adorable in the tree. Too bad, kitty doesnt climb back up the tree.

i can see how adorable she is in the picture above! i'm gonna put the tree beside my cat bungalows as soon as i win her.

A PURRfect event for a cat lover!
But then again a PURRFECT event for an addicted player who found wifi hotspots in town during last event to collect cauldrons when I could not be at home at the four hour collection time.
